Life is full of disappointment. People unable to do the things you expect them to do or many things just failed you today, the toilet won't flush, stuck in a traffic, or maybe you failed the exam you thought you would pass or your boss didn't promote you instead he promoted someone who is unworthy... and you end up resigning. Or the weather just won't cooperate with your OOTD.
Many things disappoints us, including people. But i say we can choose not to be, if only we set our focus right and set our minds and sight on the one who will never disappoint us... and I am talking about God. You might say, 'What! I say God disappoints me every time... infact He has given my child a cancer!' or 'He has let me down, i have prayed for months about this and guess what He said no. He didn't let me pass my board exam.' or 'He didn't touch the heart of the people around me, when i know He could have... i mean He is God, right?! I was hurt and He wasn't there.' or 'He has allowed me to be in pain to the point of death, where was He? Does He even exist?!'
The Bible says, in this world you will have tribulation (John16:33), so clearly we ain't trouble-free instead we will have troubles, and only God knows what those troubles are. I bet you will only know it once you have encountered such not before.
But i also know some thing like, all things work together for the good to those who love God and who are called according to their purpose (Romans 8:48). Then i conclude that all the setbacks/tribulation/pain we experience which include disappointments are meant to lead us to our calling and to push us to our destiny in Christ Jesus, in fulfilling our life's purpose. You don't have to trust me, just trust the One who made the heaven and the earth.
Just hold on with your faith, trust God in everything... instead of being disappointed be glad in the Lord for He is leading you to the way where your heavenly rewards awaits you. See He won't disappoint you to bring you down rather to lift you up, to make us realize that life doesn't revolve around those things that disappoints us rather life revolves around the One who created all things, Jesus. It's not about them, or about a thing or about you... its about God.

People get disappointed because their focus is on that particular thing or person... their loved ones, parents, money, career, husband, or anything you prefer more than anything. Its also saying what man values, cares about, or loves more than... this can be a case of idolatry too you know... prefering some thing more over God... but if we set God as the highest of all our priority, focus and love, i don't think its possible to be disappointed in Him when we know that He fail not... and that God is faithful.
You on the otherhand has a higher possiblity of disappointing God not the other way around, He will not disappoint us if truly you are faithful to Him. Some think God has disappoint them but in reality they have disappointed themselves, they have lack of faith in the One who is faithful and who change not.
And so i say, place your trust on the One who doesn't disappoint... to whom you should hope for.
