"Come on now, I need you to eat something." I told you as I lifted the spoon back up to your sealed lips. You had been refusing a warm meal for twenty-four hours now and I will not accept 'no' as an answer anymore.

"You will eat something, even if I must force it down your throat." I cooed.

I didn't want to threaten you, especially after the fit you threw earlier when you woke up. It was such a heart-breaking sight to see you pull at your bound writs and flail your legs around, trying so hard to break free.

Your screams and cries found a tenderness in my black heart that couldn't bear to hear your wails.

When I spoke, it seemed to rile you up more.

Your anxiety went through the roof and the struggling increased tremendously. You would hurt yourself if this continued.

I made my way over to you, my form becoming more monstrous when I realized I would need to hold you down, restrict all movement.

Now here we are, you refusing to eat and me losing my patience at you not consuming something. Sure, humans can go a few days without food, but I shall not let you go hungry.

"Please, let me feed you a little something and then you can relax some more. I will leave you be." It was the only offering I could give you.

And your lips parted.
