"Let's go!" Mai shouted as she ran over the hill to the lake which had frozen over. Monk, John and you all followed, eager to try the new skates out. Lin, Naru, Masako and Ayako had stayed behind at based while at you all "goofed off".

"Hey look at me" Mai said, twirling round, before falling over, John skating over to help her up. Laughing, you skated round the lake a few laps before you slipped on a frozen stick which sent you tumbling.

"Are you okay?" Monk asked, leaning down staring into your [e/c] eyes with his brown ones.

"Yeah.." You mumbled bushing as he pulled you up, guiding you round the lake, clasping your hand.

"Let's not fall over anymore sticks, shall we?" He joked.

"Let's not!" You agreed.
