(A/N) I just thought to mention that y/n was written as a girl in this book. I honestly don't know why all the x readers I write are written in a girl's POV, I'm not even one. Just change pronouns if you don't use she/her. <3

I awake to the sound of the doorbell ringing. I am about to ignore it and go back to sleep when bff/n yells, "YOUR BOYFRIEND IS HERE!"

I shoot up in my bed and rush to the door. I open it to Brendon's smiling face.

"Hi Brendon," I say, out of breath.

"Nice pajamas," he says. I look down at my pajamas. An oversized longsleeved dog shirt I found at Goodwill and fuzzy grey pants with sheep that are way too big on me. 

"I kinda woke up when you rang the doorbell. Actually bff/n had to wake me up," I say, embarrassed. "Did you get here just now? It's exactly eight."

"I've been here since seven fourty six. I said I would be here at eight so I waited."

"Ah. Well please come in," I say and step back so he come in.

Bff/n is standing in the kitchen. "Hello again! I'm bff/n."

"Hello!" Brendon says cheerfully.

"What do you two plan on doing today?" bff/n asks.

"It's y/n's twenty four hours, so I figured I'd let her choose," Brendon answers.

"Well what she wants to do is-"

"Don't you have somewhere to be?" I interject. "Like a dentist appointment or something?"

"Yeah." bff/n says. "Don't do anything you wouldn't do with your mother in the room." Sometimes I want to punch them in the face, you know? Bff/n runs out the door before I can hit them.

I shake my head. "Sorry 'bout that. Bff/n is a little... Well..."

"It's fine. I have friends like that too."

"You hungry?"

"Yeah."

"You like cereal?"

"Yeah."

"Sweet. 'Cuz as of right now, I've got nothing else in the house. Other than peanut butter, jelly, and bread," I say. Brendon laughs. I'm not joking though. We haven't gone shopping for a long time.
