Chapter 1
Aarolyn's story:
[In brief]
Aarolyn and Keith are dating, but things got rough due to Keith's ex, Kayleen, who is overly jealous. However, the couple manage to sort things out. Now, let's see how their lives are...
***
When I first started dating Keith, he had just broken up with his ex, Kayleen. This happened when high school was over by then. Kayleen was the most popular - and hateful - girl in our school, and Keith was also fairly popular. I, on the other hand, was a true nerd, surrounded only by the presence of Ronan and Aynslie, my only friends ever in that horrendous school.
As soon as Keith and I started going out together, Kayleen and her hateful friends Virginia, Starleigh and Matthew (her new lover) made my life a true hell. One day, I decided to talk to my best confessor, who was, and still is, my little sister Caitlynn. At the age of eight, she was very smart and, even though ten years of age difference separate us, we are still in touch. I asked her whether I should go on dating the popular girl's ex, and she told me something I would never, ever forget in all my life. "Remember, Aarolyn, what matters is not who you are dating, but why you are dating him. This is what is important for a couple, and he also should consider this, while dating you."
"Thank you, little sis, I swear I will never forget this and take it as a good example," I replied. I was relieved after she gave me such important advice, which I kept following until now.

What made me and Keith bond more was expecting a child. When I first found out to be pregnant, I thought it would be a joke. But, if you think a pregnancy test is a joke, you are totally wrong. At first, I just pretended it was, but then realized it wasn't at all.
When I told Keith, he was so excited, and he said, "It's amazing! We'll finally have a child on our own!"
What could be the problem?
We were 22.
We had finished college.
Keith had a well-paid job, and so did I.
So, what was the actual problem? Well, it began with Kay and ended with Leen.
Kayleen.

Upon hearing from my pregnancy with Keith's child, Kayleen was furious. She wanted Keith back. And not only because of me, but also because Matthew was cheating on her.
So, she wanted to plan an awful revenge to have me lose the baby. Keith did not believe me when I told him so, but I knew it was true, which sometimes led to massive arguments, and, since I hate arguing, we kept promising each other we would make it up.
In the end, we did make up and started going regularly to the hospital for our visits. Later, we found out we were expecting a baby boy. We were both excited and felt he would be the cutest baby boy ever. Though, I still felt something would go wrong. Keith kept ignoring this feeling, but that was just barely noticeable.
Nobody would ever suspect anything, but Kayleen was plotting again. Having me lose my baby would definitely fail, since I entered sixth month of pregnancy, but she still prayed he would be stillborn. How mean she was.
Once again, I didn't get listened at all by Keith and we restarted arguing. But things magically improved and what made me feel so happy to have an amazing boyfriend and a baby who was about to come. We even came up with a name: Hunter. Hunter Keegan. Then we announced everyone else he would be born soon, and they all reacted well.
Apart from Kayleen, obviously.
She once again tried to divide me and Keith, this time making up an absurd story no-one would ever believe. She claimed to be pregnant, and the baby was Keith's. Unlike the other times, however, Keith did recognize Kayleen's lie and told her to get out of his life for good. She was dismayed and angry: she couldn't believe she would never have a place in his heart again. She wanted revenge, and knew how, but not when to act her last, horrendous plan.
She sent Virginia and Starleigh at Keith's place and they burnt his house and his car. Keith was devastated, and immediately called the cops, who had the three bitches tried. Kayleen was eventually released, much to our anger, while Virginia and Starleigh were sent to jail for eight years, not only for arson, but also for other acts of vandalism. They are still in jail, and attempted suicide several times, saying they would rather die than meet Kayleen again. She was the criminal mind, it was her who pushed them into setting fire to Keith's house and car. Luckily, there was nobody there, otherwise someone could have died there and then.

When Hunter was born, there were all of our friends - including Aynslie and Ronan, who had become a couple - and both families, though there were also two undesired presences.
Kayleen and Matthew.
Her "lie" about the pregnancy ended up being partially true: she did get pregnant, but by Matthew, who left her there and then for no reason. Kayleen was crushed. She disguised as a nurse and tried to poison my child, but was eventually stopped. The real nurses ushered her out of the room and told her never to come in that hospital. In fact, she would give birth to her daughter, Brylee Rhona, at home, seven months later, and shortly after die for some strange complications. We refused to take part at her funeral. I heard that Brylee was sent to a foster family, 'cause Matthew did not want to deal with her.

Anyway, after all the drama with the Kayleen story, we all realized that some people are made to make a family, while other aren't. I am one of them who can make a good family, if not a perfect one. Now, Hunter is three. He is a fantastic kid, and, even though he might seem a bit rough, he is very polite and kind. He has recently confessed he likes a girl in his preschool class, and her name is Brylee. If you think you have heard it back, you may be right. My dear friends Ronan and Aynslie chose to take care of her after Kayleen's death. And they also became Hunter's godparents.
