This week on Monday an attack took place in Toronto. Someone in a van drove over people killing 10 people and injuring 14.

As the case unfolded, we got more details about the person driving the van. He was a man who was part of a misogynist group. This group consists mainly of "involuntary celibate" who hates women (and good looking men) because they are the reason they are single! 

The man who drove the van targeted women in the streets and wanted to take revenge on them because he was single! I just find this horrifying!

First, I believe that we always have a choice and we are responsible for what happens to us. So for those men to blame others for their situation (of being single) isn't right. I am single, but I am not mad at boys for not wanting to go out with me, in the end, it's my decision if I want to flirt with someone or decline a man's advances.

Second, with a misogynist attitude its fairly certain that no women would want to date a guy who hates them. 

I just find this repulsing that people like this still exist today in our society!

A guy often comes to the school cafe where I work and told us that he was following the group of men who hate women, the one the driver of the van was part of. From the time I saw him at the cafe I've gathered that he is very, I mean very stubborn and doesn't take another point of view into account. The other time I joked about the USA and he started to rant angrily about how much he hates the USA. I wouldn't be surprised if he flipped a table over. He also said, "I would enter the army only there was a war against the USA". All my colleagues categorized him as the extremist. He likes weird music that you would hear after smoking drugs. 

Anyway, he started to rant about how he believed what the misogynist group said and what they supported. He said that he was ugly and no one would date him, so he hates women. So now, each time that I see I just ignore him, because he is not worth my time. 

I mean, I am pretty lucky and I live in a pretty open country where minorities, women, and LGBTQ are respected but I am just disgusted that organization like these (and the people agree with them) still exists.
