So I was writing a story and one character is French and I was having trouble writing a French-speaking person talking in English. The problem is not that I don't speak French, actually, I can speak both in French and English and I can easily switch between languages. The thing is, the difference between French and English is the way letters and sound are pronounced. 

It made me think of some idioms that my French friends (the one who comes from outside of the country I live in) say. Most of my foreign friends come from L'Île de La Réunion, some from France or la Nouvelle-Calédonie. So below is a list of idioms I've heard my foreign friends say and you can try to guess what they mean.
