Tonight was the night of the assembly.

Blaze wasn't really excited but he was excited to see Cindy and Eos. He wore a red and golden suit and dark black boots.

He looked around as he stood by the staircase. He spotte Cindy and Eos walking into the room.

Eos was wearing a blue and black dress and Cindy was wearing an orange dress.

He smiled and walked over to them, "hey, girls." "Hey," Eos giggled.

Eos had sienna brown skin and raven black hair with blue-violet streaks. She had one left silver eye and one violet eye.

Cindy had ivory skin, dark blonde hair with an ashy black streak and she had dark amber-red eyes.

"Glad you could make it," Blaze sighed. Cindy chuckled, "like we'd miss this for the world." She looked around and let out a small whistle.

Everything looked fancy and big. Everyone was wearing fancy clothes.

Eos hummed softly before she saw Raye talking with a few other people.

"Didn't you say your mom was meeting a few other people?" She asked. "Yeah," Blaze sighed, "but those are people from the office."

A butler walked over to Raye, "Miss Solaris, the Crawford family is here."

"Ah, good," she replied before she looked at Blaze, Eos and Cindy and hurriedly gestured for them to come over.

Blaze frowned slightly before he and the girls walked over to her. While Eos and Cindy weren't really close with Raye, she did love them like they were her own. She was thankful for them being in her son's life.

"Announcing the arrival of Alexandra Crawford, Damien Crawford and their children, Icarus Crawford and Aura Crawford."

All heads turned and Blaze blinked in surprise. Alexandra Crawford was the head of a company called Owl's Eye where the people worked in construction for new cities near and far. She had porcelain skin, blonde hair and grayish blue eyes. Damien was someone who handled the studying. He was Alexandra's husband. He had ivory skin, brown hair and golden eyes.

Icarus looked about seventeen and he had ivory skin, blonde hair and golden eyes. He was wearing a blue tuxedo and black shoes. Aura was sixteen and she had porcelain skin, blonde hair and grayish blue eyes. She was wearing a white dress with sky blue trim.

Aura looked at Blaze and he blinked, taken aback. She tilted her head curiously.

"Alexandra, it is good to see you again," Raye said, walking up to her, "how long has it been?" "Only time itself can tell, my friend," Alexandra chuckled and she looked at Blaze.

"Ah, Blaze," she said, "I can't remember the last time I saw you. You've gotten so big."

Blaze smiled a little, "th-thank you." Raye smiled as the two families walked up to the top of the stairs.

Raye lifted her cup, "I hope this night treats you well, everyone. The Demi-Bots project will be up and running instantly. I can assure you that."

People chuckled.

Blaze frowned and glanced at Icarus and Aura. They both looked equally unnerved. Eos and Cindy looked at each other.

"And as such," Raye continued, "I will now be presenting the first Demi-Bot to ever be created." She snapped her fingers and two guards came over.

Blaze looked at them and widened his eyes in shock. There was a humanoid looking bot that stood before him. It was a male and he looked to be seventeen.

He had sienna-honey brown skin, white hair with pink streaks and dark blue eyes. He wore a formal black and golden suit.

Blaze felt his face warm up at the mere sight of him. The bot looked so... beautifully human.

"Blaze," Raye said, snapping her son out of his stupor and he looked at her, "I am entrusting this one to you."

"R-really? M-me?" Blaze squeaked. The Demi-Bot looked at him curiously and tilted his head.

"Of course," Raye chuckled, "he's a bot. He'll obey your every command. And he will ensure that no harm will come to you."

Blaze looked at the Demi-Bot and swallowed nervously. It took a moment for him to find his voice.

"Th-thank you... Mom," he said. Out of the corner of his eye, he didn't fail to see Alexandra's frown.

Raye smiled and looked back at the crowd. "Let the party continue," she said. With that, the music started playing again.

Damien suddenly patted Blaze's shoulder, "how about you kids go have fun now?"

"O-okay," Eos stuttered. Blaze looked at the Demi-Bot before he gently took his hand, nodded to his friends and the group hurried away from the adults, eager to get away from the party.

"Raye, we need to talk," Alexandra said coldly. Raye gave her a calm look.

In another room, Blaze, the Demi-Bot, Eos, Cindy, Icarus and Aura stood, all but one of them completely shocked by what had just occurred.

Blaze looked at the Demi-Bot.

"I can't believe your mom gave you a Demi-Bot," Icarus said, leaning against the door. "I can't believe it either," Blaze frowned before he sighed.

"Hello," he said to the Demi-Bot, "my name is Blaze Solaris. What's your name?"

"Hello, Blaze Solaris," the Demi-Bot spoke in a nonchalant but polite tone, "my name is Demi-Bot V1I21437501PK."

"That's his code," Aura frowned. Blaze let out a heavy sigh.

This was going to be harder than he anticipated.

He looked at Cindy, "Cin, do you think you can... y-you know...?"

The nineteen year old girl furrowed her eyebrows before she widened her eyes in realization. "N-no way!" She exclaimed before she tensed up and looked back at the door. A few seconds passed and they didn't hear anything.

Cindy looked back at Blaze, lowering her voice, "are you crazy?! I can't just hack into a Demi-Bot! We don't even know what kind of malware or modifications he has installed! It could be illegal for all we know!"

"We don't know that yet," Icarus pointed out, "but I think it's high time for a Demi-Bot to become... at least human. Is that so bad?"

Cindy and Eos exchanged nervous glances. Blaze looked at the Demi-Bot.

For all he knew, this bot had no name. No birthday, no parents, no life.

It almost made him cry.

Something told him that this one was a special case. And he wanted to help him.

"Let's get him to your lab," Blaze said. "How are we supposed to sneak out past the guards?" Icarus asked with a frown.

Blaze smiled. He gestured for them to follow and they snuck out of the room and down the hallway to his bedroom.

When he was a kid, he had been exploring a lot of rooms in the mansion. Some of which he had called secret passages.

He opened a door that led to the garden behind the house and Aura looked around with amazement.

"I didn't know you had a garden," she said. "The maids tend to it every now and then," Blaze chuckled, "I just come here to relax and unwind."

The group walked out of the garden and hurried to Cindy's house which wasn't far. Only a five minute walk. Three if you ran.

The Demi-Bot looked around curiously before he looked back at Blaze.

Before he could say anything, they walked into a warehouse.

Cindy lifted up the garage and Blaze took the Demi-Bot inside with Icarus, Aura and Eos following.

Cindy looked around before she lowered the garage and flipped the light switch. The lights flashed on and the Demi-Bot gave a minuscule flinch.

"Turn him off," Cindy sighed. Blaze nodded before he picked up the instrument that was designed to turn off Demi-Bots and he pressed it behind the bot's ear on the logo.

The Demi-Bot's eyes closed and he fell forward but Cindy quickly caught him and carried him over to the table. She laid him down and sighed deeply.

She looked at the others.

"What happens here does not leave this warehouse," she said firmly. Everyone nodded.
