*2 hours later*

     Turns out that we hit the Inner Core pretty hard, and the blade is the one that got hit the most. Fortunately, Carter has confirmed some good news, the blade is only minorly damaged and can still function properly, but the impact short-circuited the reactor inside the blade. Right now the blade is warming up, hopefully we can get it going in a bit. Except, once it gets going, we'll need to immediately set it to maximum temperature to avoid any more damage.

     I'm just hoping that nothing else happens to our drill, or else we're done, unless if we could retract our ship using the tube system. Right now we can't use our scanner yet, since we're devoting all of its power to the drill. In fact, almost all the power that we are gathering is being used by the drill, except for the A/C, we can't survive without the A/C, not kidding. Well, hopefully in a few hours we can get this ship going. My journal pad says that it's about 10:00 pm, but that's only for the 24-hour format. I'll tune in later when the drill is ready.
