We got into a fight. Gramps and Niki and I, we just...ugh...

[Jordyn sniffs. It's a few seconds before she speaks again]

Gramps commed Niki because he was upset about the paintings we did on the store next door. He said he's getting tired of trying to cover for us by convincing the owners it's not worth it to press charges to a couple of teenage delinquents.

That's when Niki snapped. He yelled at Gramps and told him it didn't matter anymore. No one's here except us. Everyone else left, and they're not coming back. We're completely alone, he said.

Gramps didn't take it well. Niki has never yelled at Gramps before, and I don't think he knew what to do.

...Well, he yelled back. He told Niki he's an idiot if he thinks there's really no one else on Initium anymore. He reminded him that it's not a small place, and there's a high chance the other survivors just aren't in our district. That we're not completely alone, and we'll eventually restart and rebuild until we're a thriving community again.

[Jordyn laughs bitterly]

Then I snapped. I backed Niki up. I don't know why I did it. But we all got into a stupid yelling match for no reason, and it took like an hour before any of us calmed down, and I started crying, and...

Anyway, now we're grounded, which is always awesome.

It was stupid. We shouldn't be fighting. All we have is each other. If the three of us don't get along, how will we even survive?

I'm gonna go apologize to Gramps, and maybe convince Niki to apologize too. Seeya.
