Central City 2049...Godspeed zoomed through the city.

"Infinite velocity will soon be mine! And once my ascension is complete all will bow before the might of Godspeed!" He yelled running. He zoomed up a building and jumped across to another before a purple lightning bolt ripped through the air knocking him down."Gideon, let CCPD know I've got heart." XS said walking towards him. "I'm bringing him in now. Guess you couldn't run forever, Heart."Godspeed took advantage of her cockiness as he sent a bolt of electricity knocking her to the ground.Nora grunted as she fell to the ground. Godspeed stood up and cracked his neck. "Never anger a god, little one."Electricity arched across Godspeed's body as a bolt of lightning rushed from behind him as a speedster in a red and silver suit phased through him.

Godspeed crumpled to the ground. As Impulse cocked off excitedly."Wooo!" He yelled laughing. "Yo, that was so crash." He said walking to Nora as she got up to her feet."What the hell was that?" she scolded. "You just phased through a speedster.""Who didn't see me coming." Bart argued."Your molecules could've conjoined on a quantum level. Do you know what that means?"Nora and Bart argued about how his recklessness was a problem and Bart argued back about he was only young.In their distraction Godspeed phased through the street and took off through the city.After learning where Godspeed was headed Nora and Bart took off through the streets where Nora took an unexpected turn through the CCPD precinct opened her locker and removed something from it before catching up with Bart at the flash museum where a portal was opened in front of the cosmic treadmill in which Godspeed had clearly just used."If he gets away.." Nora started."Well never find him but.." Bart replied. "Mom and Dad'll kill us, so." Nora continued."Screw it." Bart said as they both ran through the wormhole together.

Central City, Present Day I walked out of the elevator and fixed my hair before I walked towards the Cortex.

Thea, and Cecile looked at me with sadness evident in their eyes. They were hiding something from me."What's going on?" I asked them confused. "Barry wants you in the lounge." Thea said walking towards me. "Please Damian, be careful."What was that supposed to mean?I headed towards the lounge where I saw Barry leaning against the entryway listening to two people talk and eat."Barry, what's going on?" I asked confused as I looked into the lounge and froze in my spot. The two teenagers looked up and I clearly saw hesitation and longing in Nora's eyes before she went back to what she had been doing. "It's.. it's." I said stumbling against the wall. "Is that.. that's her."Barry stabilized me."Damian Damian. You need to pull it together." Barry said helping me back to my feet."Does she know?"Barry shrugged. "I don't know. Just take your time and come in when you're ready."I heard some commotion from inside the lounge and a large burp.Nora was here.But not my Nora?Was it my Nora?Did she remember?She barely recognized me."Why don't you go ahead and rewind that." Barry said to Nora.She laughed. "Sure, how would I do that?" She looked up at me entering the room. "Is this about the other Nora?"My heart stopped in its place as Barry and Bart looked back and forth at each other."You know about her?" I asked from behind Barry."Totally." Nora said. "Barry and mom have told us a ton of stories about her." Nora said as realization flashed in her eyes."Wait, are you.. is this?" Bart asked walking up to me. "Are you Damian Abbott, aka the..?"I stumbled backwards a bit.Had Barry and Iris not even mentioned me in the future. Was I even alive?I nodded. "Yeah, that's me.""How crap dude, you disappeared awhile back but mom, dad, and Auntie Thea said you were totally crash." Bart said giving me a bro hug."Auntie Thea?" I asked confused."Yeah, we call all of mom and Dads closest friends auntie or uncle." Bart said rambling on."But you called me Damian." I said to him.He looked at Nora and Barry who already motioned they told me too much about the future."There's just some weird history there that I'm not really allowed to explain. Could rupture Space/Time continuum but you know all about that." He said to me smiling.Nora immediately changed the subject. "I'm so glad that you told me about her. I feel like apart of her is still alive in me.Nora said those words that gave me a little bit of hope inside. That she felt like the other Nora was living within her.The alarm started buzzing before they could continue talking."Barry, we got more Godspeed clones southwest of City Hall." Cecile's comms said over the intercom."Okay. Time to go to work." Barry said putting his ring on. "Let's go."

Bart and Nora stood up excited. "Let's go? You mean like all four of us go?"

Barry looked confused. "Four? "Yeah, Damian?" Bart asked as Nora was rapidly shaking her head. Bart did a running motion with his hands.

" Damian has spider abilities from Devoe's satellite crash. Not super speed?" Barry said confused.Nora whispered something in his ear and Barry's eyes widened.Before the alarms continued buzzing.Barry and Bart disappeared leaving me and Nora alone.

She walked up to me and put a hand on my cheek.

"What did Bart mean?" I asked confused.Nora smiled at me and looked down at her boots before returning her eyes to mine."Damian" she said quietly. "I promise we'll talk when all of this is over."I returned to the cortex trying to fight the tears and shock I had from seeing my dead ex girlfriend who's not really my actually dead ex.Thea approached me and gave me a hug. "How'd it go?"She remembers everything, not actually. She knows about the other Nora but none of that is her. Those feelings aren't hers." I said as I approached the desk and sat down in the chair.

Cecile looked at me from behind the desk sadly. "You know Damian, in our crazy family we have time travels and spiders, empaths, and all sort of other things."I used to be able to make black holes." Chester said shrugging.I raised my eyebrows at him."Look on the bright side, they're stuck here until we've figured things out." Caitlin said.I shook my head. "It doesn't work like that. I can't force her to love me like the other Nora did and even if she did there's no logical way, we can be together without risking the space time continuum."Thea rubbed my shoulders gently trying to ease my stress."You know, maybe she's right." I said to them. "Maybe, she wasn't my soulmate."

Without warning we were interrupted as three flashes appeared in the cortex. Tensions were clearly high because Cecile was fast to usher us out. A couple minutes later a purple and gold flash appeared before disappearing into the speed track. "You can throw stars with your lightning, but you can't catch a ball of it in under twenty seconds?" Nora said panting. "It's a lot harder than it looks." Said Bart "Well, maybe you should stop focusing on being a badass parkouring off every wall you see." Nora said. Bart got frustrated. "All this about me, how about you? "You see the guy you're in love with and you freeze." Bart said to her. Nora looked taken aback. "What are you talking about?" She asked about his sudden outburst. "What do you mean? You stare at that picture of him in your journal for hours a day. "He was there Bart. He was in the future with us, the team found a way for us to be together." Nora said to him. "Then why did he disappear?" Bart asked her as Nora's face dropped. I don't want to talk about it." Nora said turning around and dropping the conversation. Barry and Iris came around the corner as the four reunited immediately changing Nora's mood. 

The family talked for a while discussing Godspeed until the News ultimately came to a decision to bench Bart after deciding it had become too personal for Bart to be in the field. Bart left in a flash leaving the three of them. Barry went to chase after him, but it was ultimately decided that Nora would talk with him.They needed to have a discussion anyway. How could you turn on me like that?" Bart asked with tears in his eyes. "You're supposed to have my back. "I still do." Nora said. "Look, I get why you're angry after what Godspeed took from you, from us? "Bart looked at her shocked. "Godspeed— Nora, Godspeed didn't take Uncle Jay." Bart hesitated. "He killed him. He killed Uncle Jay. Right in front of me."Bart turned around. I know what you're feeling." Nora said standing up. "How could you?!" Bart grew angry. Nora's eyes began to well with tears. "Because I had to watch the love of my life get taken away from me by Quantum and I wasn't fast enough to get him back. "Bart turned around. "Damian didn't leave? Why wouldn't you tell us this. Dad and I could've helped you get him back. Nora stamped her foot. "Because it doesn't matter, right now, if we don't stop Godspeed Damian won't be alive to save Anybody anyway. "Bart apologized before going into a speech about the people who trained him and then discussed how Jay understood him. "Can't we just tell Dad what Godspeed did, then he'd understand why I have to take him down. "Because we'd be breaking the most important rule. "You did." Bart retorted. Nora pursued her lips careful not to say too much. "There is something about Damian that makes him special. Sacred. What did Jay tell you about taking risks. What would he say if he were here now. "It's time to take off our hat." Bart said sadly. As Nora gave him a told you so look which Bart rolled his eyes for. Nora stood up. "I will take Godspeed down for the both of us, I promise. "In position." Barry said through comms as he put Chester's machine into place."Nora, are you ready?" Iris replied through comms."On my way with the guests of honor." She replied speeding through the streets with multiple Godspeeds behind her."Now!" Nora yelled as I swung between the buildings with my upgraded red, blue, and white suit.

The machines went off as the Godspeeds fell to the floor incapacitated."Holy shrap. It worked." Nora said hugging Barry.Lightning began to flicker off the Godspeeds as they once again rose to their feet. "Sensors are picking up a massive increase to the clones kinetic energy. They're recharging." Chester said as Nora was suddenly taken out by a vacuum of speed energy.Barry was hit immediately after as he got to his feet and took the brunt of the vacuum from the four Godspeeds.A mist suddenly spread blinding the Godspeeds.My cue. I jumped from the building and swung like Tarzan hauling a garbage can behind me."Nice shot, Ice Queen." I said as I let go of the trash can sending it spiraling towards the Godspeeds taking them all out at once. I backflipped to the ground and celebrated."That's a strike."Barry rushed to Nora as Frost looked behind me in fear."Guys, we gotta go." Frost said as I saw the Godspeeds getting up behind me.

I nodded at Barry as I leapt into the sky and began parkouring my way over the roofs and swinging through the city as Frost, Nora, and Barry disappeared back to S.T.A.R Labs.

Back at S.T.A.R Labs Nora promised she was fine as Chester went over what had gone wrong in the field how the machine was charged with Speed force energy which allowed the Godspeeds to use it to recharge without entering the speed force. Chester told us we had forty-five minutes to get the machine back up and running before the Godspeeds returned. "What're you thinking." Iris asked Barry. "If we can't get that S.E.E back working. We need reinforcements. "Hell, ya you do." Bart said appearing out of thin air causing me to jump. "How long were you listening?" Iris asked him. "I mean, just long enough to hear that dad finally realized he should tag me in." He said looking hopeful at Barry. "He meant me, dumbass." Nora said to him annoyed. "No, I didn't." Barry said ending an argument before it started. My eyes widened as I saw Bart look at me excited. "Wait, what?" Nora asked confused. "Nora, we almost died out there. I couldn't protect you. I'm not putting you in that position again." Barry said. "Yeah, but we didn't die, and I can help." Nora said. "Mom, a little backup here please. "We didn't die because Damian and Frost saved our butts." Barry said. "Nora, this was unpredictable, and it's getting more dangerous." Iris said. "We do this everyday back home." Nora argued. "Yeah, come on. We're heroes." Bart said. "Dangerous is, like, part of our job."Not this time." Barry said folding his arms.

 A part of me was beginning to feel like I shouldn't be involved in this argument. "You don't just get to decide that. I'm about to turn thirty. "Barry cocked his head doing the math. "In four years." Nora said before her face fell as she looked at me. "We can always use my plan. "Barry looked at me and looked back at Nora. What the hell was that about? Why'd they look at me like that? "No. Absolutely not. We're still you're parents. You're still not going out there. "Bart and Nora went back and forth a couple times before looking to Iris.

"Your father is right." Iris said. The family went back and forth at each other before finally the siblings sped off once again as Barry threatened to lock them in the pipeline before they once again sped off. I headed to the lounge where I found Thea sulking over a cup of coffee. "You good?" I asked her as I took a seat next to her. "Thanks for taking my advice about the colors." She said smiling as she looked at my suit. "But yeah, I'm good. "It feels hopeless." I said to her. "Nora?" She asked. I shook my head as I went around the bar and poured myself a shot. I shook my head as I took it to clear the burn from my throat" Why do you do that?" Thea asked. "It does nothing for you. "Metaphorical, I suppose." I said to her. "It's this war. "The team felt the same way when you were in a coma." Thea said. "It felt like the world had come crashing around them. I smiled at her as she continued. But they pulled through, they will again.
