『 Thank you all so much! どうもありがとう. 』

It has been so much fun to plan everything out and we’ve had a blast being committed to the 2014 Anime Watty Awards for the past couple of months. First of all, we would like to say thank you so, so much for all of your participation and all of your entries.

It’s seriously incredible to know that there were a whopping 220+ anime fan fictions entered into the competition this year! Such an event definitely would not have been successful without all of you. We are truly grateful from the bottoms of our hearts! 

We know it’s cheesy to say, but all of you are winners and each of you deserve a round of applause. We feel it necessary to remind you of a few things: please keep in mind that not getting placed does not mean that your fan fiction is bad or that you should stop writing. We encourage you to write to your heart’s content because it’s what makes you and everyone else happy! That is all that matters.

Everyone’s story is incredible and unique in their own way! So, chin up! No beating yourself up or else we’ll send all of your favorite characters from the anime world to give you a suffocating group hug! Plus, this event will be held annually. If you didn’t place, there is always next time!

So, no matter what the results are, you’re truly amazing for entering the Anime Watty Awards with all of your wonderful fan fictions. Thank you so much once again! We’ll try to come up with the dates for the next Anime Watty Awards once we are able to!
