Top 10 most livable cities according to the recent Mercer's Quality of Living Index:

A/N: *This is a lie. One of the things the list looked for was how good transport/public transport was in the city, and I just want to be the one person who informs everyone about this:

Auckland's roads and transport, in general, sucks:

1)  Roads aren't fixed and have to be patched up every few months when it should've been done right the first time.

2) It takes about 15/16+ years to get a roundabout at a dangerous intersection.

3) One bus breaks down and holds up about 94% of all commuting traffic, even on the opposite side of the city.

4) The council isn't doing anything to make morning traffic easier. "But take public transport,"  they say. Yeah... Not when there's only one bus every 20 minutes and you have to be somewhere.

5) There's some more but you get the idea.

Another thing was housing affordability: I would love for someone to explain why there are many people sleeping on the streets.

So yeah, don't think that Auckland (or NZ for that matter) is such a great country. It sucks but this isn't a rant book. And don't even get me started on our sorry excuse for a government system.
