Chapter VII
"Please don't trust me." Jimin says as he chokes in the end. I feel a lump on my throat, not knowing what to answer. My heart gets pricked by thorns of a rose. And that rose is myself. For trusting too early. Waaay too early.
"I-I'm sorry. It's just that.. It's my first time making new friends. I only have my siblings as friends." I explain and lower my gaze. His world is so different from mine.
My world is crowns, tiaras and ballrooms. As a teen, I used to be such an obedient child to my mother. I attended ettiquette classes with my twin, Ah Ra. Cliché, but we used to be so close, sneaking out to garden every Friday nights while drinking hot chocolate. But everything changed when I started to love swimming, diving and parkour. My mother was completely against it.

"Mom, look! I have a golden medal in the diving competition!" I happily say as I raise my golden medal, the light of the chandelier making it shimmer in my eyes.
I look at it with a happy smile, completely proud of myself. I found my passion. Swimming, diving, and running. Feeling the subtle waves of the pool in our backyard made me feel so relaxed, swimming in our pool made me feel so happy. And running in our field behind our mansion, the breeze tickling my face, makes me feel so free and alive.
My brother, Taehyung was happy about my new hobbies aside from dancing classes which I somewhat feel tired of. I'm tired of hearing waltz pieces and dancing with men my age trying to gain my attention, trying to have a little chat with me.
"And how would you think would that cheap piece of gold benefit you?" She says, not impressed at all, with her eyebrows furrowed and her hands on her hips.
"W-What?" I ask, and this the first ever time mom gave me this sort of attitude. She always told me compliments and always gave me a reward everytime I'd do something that would satisfy her.
But it never satisfied me.
My knees shook as I tried to stand strong. I thought she would be happy for me, but clearly, she isn't. She has her eyes filled with disappointment.
My other siblings in our living room sat in silence as they were doing their own thing. Jin was reading a cooking magazine, Namjoon was reading the newspaper, Taehyung was playing a game on his phone, and Ah Ra was busy reading a fashion magazine.
Jin then lifted his gaze on mother, also shocked at what she said. He also knew that mother would never say that to me. He never saw this side of mother before.
"You skipped your ettiquette classes for this?" She asked in disappointment as she massaged her temples.
"B-But I asked dad..." I mumbled, and she scoffs in disbelief.
"Young lady, I am the parent in-charge for your ettiquette classes. Not your father. Your teacher must be ignorant for excusing you to go to a peasant competition." She says as she gestures me to give my medal.
"It's not even an international competition. Just a dumb local competition." She says as she throws the medal on the ground effortlessly.
I tried to hide my tears and I clenched my fists. Jin noticed this and closed up his magazine. He stood up and put his hand on my shoulder. He gave me a comforting smile.
"Come on, Y/N. Let's get you to your room." He says, making Ah Ra stand up and remove his hand on my shoulder.
"Jin, I'm her bestfriend. I think I should take her back to our room." She says, emphasising the word "our".
Jin picked up my medal and put it in his pocket.
Back to the present
I opened my eyes once again to find Jimin staring right at my eyes with pure adoration. Heat rises to my cheeks as I look away. God, this is way too much to take. I attempt to sit up, but he takes my arm, making one of my cheeks rest on his chest.
"For a girl, you're incredibly light." He says, and I sigh. It may sound as a compliment, but to me it isn't. My mother lets me take these fitness diets that I have to maintain my 45 kg weight.
I fake a smile, and he sits up, making me sit up too. I sit on his lap, my back facing him. I look at the sky with a shade of grey with a tint of blue. Winter's coming soon, and with only thinking that makes me smile.
He hugs me from behind, sending me stomach butterflies and making my heart beat like crazy. He places his chin on my shoulder, making his warm breathing fan on my ear.
"Where are my brothers?" He asks, and I can feel his burning stare. I don't look at him, since it would only expose my red cheeks.
"Yoongi talked to Jungkook and-" I say and he widens his eyes at what I said. I raise an eyebrow, and he takes my shoulders and spins me around to face him.
The way he looks into my eyes is urgent and shocked. I raise my eyebrows at the sudden reaction he's giving me.
"Where are they?" He asks, interrupting me. I point to the direction where they're currently talking behind a tree.
It's still morning, so I could still see Yoongi talking to Jungkook with his eyes serious and intimidating.
Jimin gently grips on my waist, helping me stand up as he also does. I stand up as Jimin jogs to the tree where Yoongi and Jungkook are currently talking. I don't know why, but have this uneasy feeling that I shouldn't be here. Don't know why. I just feel like I'm not safe in this place. At all.
~Jungkook's POV~
As I see Y/N and Jimin being all cuddly on the grass a few meters away from us, I can't help but feel a fire burning making me feel much more worse.
"Jungkook-ah, you're a great guy. A great gangster too. But you have to set aside these feelings for you to be successful." He advices, but that's what my belief contrasts to.
"Don't worry about me hyung. These are just minor feelings that don't bother me. I can assure you, I'll have her in the mansion in a few months from now."
"This is the time to kidnap her. Why not take this chance?" Yoongi asks as he places his hands in his pockets.
"Because Jimin won't be good with that." I say.
Jimin did have a lot of power. He hacks, can defend himself pretty well, and also a smart guy. Even Yoongi has a sense of fear for Jimin. But he never showed it.
"Fine. I'll give you both a few months. Besides, that girl's kind of likeable. But she's too innocent. Not my type." He says as he leans on the tree.
I can hear faint footsteps, and the sound of dead leaves getting crushed everytime a step is taken. I look to the person walking, and it's Jimin. I think he's sober by now.
"Jimin-ah, Jungkook has something to say to you." Yoongi says as he walks away then approaches Y/N leaning on a lamp post. He talks to her casually then I lift my gaze to my older brother, Jimin.
He's a bit smaller from me, but surely he is scarier and definitely stronger.
"What is it?" Jimin asks as he runs a hand through his hair.
"Yoongi hyung is giving us a few months extension to kidnap Y/N." I say as I put my gaze back to Y/N who's conversing with Yoongi.
"Seems like he's in a good mood today." I say, as I place my hands in my pockets until a loud sound of an engine echoes.
They're here.
