underneath this part is where the reboot/au version of union will begin. i just want you guys to know ahead of time that it is not connected to the first part at all. after writing season one of the show, i started running into issues with incorporating athena and thomas into the canon plot, while still exploring things such as the legend of the nyxs and the werewolves in general. so i decided (with the help of my readers) to "reboot" the story. now, athena and thomas will still be together, nathan will still be in the story, and some other aspects will remain the same. however, this story will no longer follow the canon storyline of the originals.

as far as this reboot/au is concerned, hope never left with rebekah, francesca is not a problem, and esther is still very much dead. so, things from the first part may or may not line up with the second part of the book and that's okay. instead of me creating a whole new story, i choose to continue it in this book and still keep the first part of the book posted because it still matters in terms of athena and thomas's relationship.

now, i want you guys to think of this reboot/au in terms of an actual show. meaning, each chapter is basically like an episode and each act is a season. i'm hoping to make it to where each "season" has twenty "episodes". so far, i have planned the entirety of the second part of this book which does have twenty chapters. there will be a total of five "seasons" in this reboot/au. each "season" will have an overarching villain, besides the last one. each season will have a main plot and also some side plots.

this book from now on is going to be very, very mature!!! there will be cursing, sexual content, violence, suicide, child abuse, torture, and alcohol consumption. if you are not a fan of sexual content, i'm telling you right now, don't read this story because athena and thomas can't keep their hands off each other :)
