Saturday night Charlie decided to spend it at her apartment she shared with Donna and Marilyn, while the rest of the gang went out to party, Skylar even texted her many times to see if she would like to hang out or come over to the party, but Charlie's response was always a no.

She just wanted to be alone tonight, her head was hurting and she felt like in any moment she would throw up, her phone buzzed s few more times as her mother sent her messages and her father called, just ignoring them and sometimes just answering back

Charlie changed the horror movie to a comedy one, in hopes of feeling a bit better, the pills and the soup weren't working and sleeping was an option but not yet, she just wanted to stay away a few more hours.

The brunette heard knocks on her front door and a loud groan came out of her mouth, standing up her feet shifted on the floor as she made her way to the door, her head resting before she could answer "who is it?" she asked and a male voice replied "a very good friend" she immediately though of cameron and opened the door.

"Hey" the british accent she missed so much answered when he saw her "KC told me i could find you here" he said and his lips got pressed together

"What are you doing here tom?" Charlie asked as her eyes met the males and her heart started beating fast

"I wanted to see you, I missed you" she just wanted to scream i missed you too but she didn't, she hated him really underneath but also loved him way too much "may i come in?" he asked the brunette as she nodded her head and moved to the side letting the 5'8 male inside

There was a moment of silence between them, Tom just turned around to face her and smile hoping she would smile back, but Charlie just avoided looking into his eyes, she knew if she did she could fall all over again for Tom

"How are..." the question was interrupted when they both said it at the same time, a small chuckle came out of his mouth while she just felt a shiver on her back

Back to the moment of silence that was so awkward Tom finally decided to break it and spoke up to the girl in front of him, the girl he missed too much

"Charlie, I just wanted to apologize, for everything, for being an asshole, for not being a good friend, for being a terrible friend, and also" his steps walked closer to Charlie who was already resting on the door "...for not asking you out more" Tom looked directly into Charlie, wishing she could look at him, and she did, Charlie looked into his brown eyes and stared at him "for not asking you to be my girlfriend"

Her heart felt for a moment it stopped and regained strength to beat way to fast she thought that in any moment she could have a cardiac arrest, her mouth opened a bit as surprise of the last words Tom said to her. Girlfriend. it sounded so soft coming out of his mouth and Charlie liked the way of it sound

"Your...girlfriend?" she asked making sure she heard right instead of the actual meaning of girl friend

"Yes Charlie, my girlfriend" Tom assured her that she wasn't going crazy, Tom walked closer to Charlie as his hand touched hers, his fingers interlocked with hers and brought it close to his mouth to kiss her knuckles with a gentle "I like you Charlie, like a lot, but I have been so scared to tell you, because. Because you are such an amazing friend and I didn't want to ruin our friendship, but I saw I did when Barbara came into the picture, I saw my mistake and I was too scared to make it alright again, please forgive me for being so stupid"

Charlies just stared at Tom, god she wanted to kiss him so bad, she just wanted to, but going and taking the risk wasn't what she did, not taking the first step, and apparently Tom saw that, since he was way too close, his hands went to her cheek, her hand felt lonely when Tom took off his of hers, he gently pulled her as she got into her tip toes, his head closer to hers as she could feel his breathing, heavy, like he was nervous, like hers. Charlie closed her eyes and felt the lips of Tom touching hers.

This was it, their first kiss, Tom was holding her from her waist and her arms were around his neck, his lips were on hers and made their work of kissing, moving, to find its right position and to gasp for some air.

This was it, this was the moment they knew they needed each other again, the moment Charlie knew she fell all over again for Tom, the moment she knew that her crush was going to be her boyfriend.

This was the moment she could call him, boyfriend.

"Gosh, I love you" she said in a moment of air as her head was resting in his and a smile appeared on her face, she felt tingles all over her body when she said it, she was the first one to say the word love and it felt right to say it

"I love you more" he said back and kissed the tip of her nose "stop, aren't you and Jason together?" this brought laughter to Charlie who just looked at Tom and laughed again "what?"

"Jason and I agreed to do this just to make you jealous, did it work?" Charlie explained to him and chuckled again making Tom's cheeks turn into a bright pinkish color and nodded

"Well yeah, but now you are my girlfriend, and I couldn't be happier than ever"

My girlfriend. My boyfriend. It sounded so pretty
