BREATHING IN DEEPLY, Melody stopped at the closed door, staring at it. Right through there was the same exact person who cursed her all those years ago. This was the same woman who ruined her entire life. But then she supposed that her life didn't completely suck. She had a mother, a father, three amazing brothers, and a wonderful family she wouldn't trade for anything. Yet her curse was the root that was planted that led to years of pain and sadness, contemplating if life was even worth it. Esther planted the seed and rather then it wither away and die, it flourished into a beast. Then again, the blasted thing gave her everything she was now. It gave her Klaus who she now couldn't imagine life without despite the fact that they hadn't explored much of their relationship.

The night previous had ended Esther's greeting. She told Melody that she wished to talk to her in the morning and told her children that it was late so they ought to go to bed because tomorrow would be a big day. A ball was what she planned. Klaus had locked himself away once more in his art room so Melody hadn't seen him that morning, getting ready and going straight to where Esther waited.

Her hand lifted to the door and hovered as she thought over her choice. When the Original Witch had arrived, there was an unmistakably odd feeling she got about her. Just like that, she forgave Klaus for killing her which didn't seem very genuine and yet they all fell for it, except for the fairytale woman of course. She got a bad feeling in her gut and followed it, deciding to be careful around the mother.

Melody finally knocked, hearing a soft invite inside. She opened the door, peeking in to see Esther standing at a table with some invitations which she assumed was for the ball later that night. The witch smiled warmly at her, gesturing for her to come into the room. The brunette did so, going over to the table and forcing a smile. It seemed as though her nervousness was noticed because then Esther said something. "No need to be tense, dear. I understand how this must be for you."

"Actually you don't," Melody blurted without meaning to. She sighed before continuing. "You're the reason I never knew my biological mother. You're the reason why I hated my father for years."

"But look where you are now." Esther grabbed the invitations from the table, turning back to her. "You prefer the strong, brave, and intelligent woman you are now to the little girl who was in so much pain." She smiled gently, putting a hand on her shoulder. "You, my dear, are Niklaus's soulmate and true love. The journey might not have been easy, but wasn't it worth it?" Melody nodded to confirm it. "I wanted to apologize for your hard childhood that you had to endure because of the curse. It's over and you survived. Now, I understand that you're are going to be attending the ball tonight?"

Melody nodded again. "Of course. I wouldn't miss it. And I haven't been to a ball in a long time." She managed to be as convincing as possible considering the situation. This witch definitely gave her bad vibes. Fake was practically written all over her.

Esther laughed. "Wonderful. Well if you excuse me, I have to give out some invitations." The witch left the room with one last smile, leaving Melody alone. She rolled her eyes with serious annoyance. How the Mikaelson siblings put up with this woman was beyond her. Turning on her heel, the brunette left the room and turned left to go to the stairs when she hit something.

Recoiling back in shock, Melody looked to see that she had bumped into Kol. The smirk on his face made her realize that this was planned. She smiled nonetheless. He was trying to charm her and she knew. "Hello there, darling. My sincere apologies. We met briefly last night, I'm Kol." He placed a kiss on her hand which did not hold an effect on her. "And you must be Melody Mills. The fairytale character with magic. I have to say, you are most remarkably beautiful."

"Thank you, Kol. It's nice to meet one of Klaus's daggered siblings."

Kol chuckled. "It's nice to finally meet you as well." He locked his arm with her's, dragging her towards the stairs. "Is it true that you are Niklaus's soulmate." When she rolled her eyes he got his answer. "Well, Nik's a stubborn one so good luck. You know, back before I was daggered I got along quite well with witches."

Melody glanced sideways at him as they started downstairs. "I'm not a witch. I'm a fairytale character with magic weren't you listening to your own words?" She smiled and he laughed. It was nice talking to him to be quite honest. The brunette found herself feeling comfortable with him, much like she had been with Hook when they first met. He seemed to be the same way but might be just looking for something more which isn't what she was interested in.

The second they stepped onto the ground floor, Rebekah was there and pulled her away from Kol. "Oh Melody there you are! We have so much to do before the ball." Melody was dragged away and she looked over at Kol with a pleading look.

"Save me!" she told him dramatically. Rebekah rolled her eyes, smiling wide. He simply just smiled back, chuckling before waving back.

"You're on your own! Sorry, darling!" With her free hand, she gave him the finger. The blonde grip was gentle yet harsh at the same time because it didn't like she was ever going to let go. Melody was led to the living room and was deposited on the couch.

Rebekah spun to face her. "Alright. I assume that you're going with Nik even though he's too much of a sissy to ask you. But if he doesn't, I will go as your date instead." Both of them knew fairly well that the said hybrid could hear them. She probably said that on purpose anyway. "Now there is much to do—" The front door opened and then closed and the Original smirked. "He's is throwing a hissy fit now. As I was saying, there is much to do: your nail, your hair, your makeup, can't forget your clothes, and what else?"

Melody laughed quietly. "I'm not a barbie doll, Bekah. Why is it that you lot keep assuming that I'm something that I'm not."

"Ha ha ha, very funny. Now shush. I have to think." Instead of disobeying, the fairytale woman stayed quiet, watching Rebekah's facial expressions. She had her hand on her chin, staring at the brunette while she thought about what would be best. Her mind wandered off to Klaus. They hadn't talked much and Melody didn't realize how much she missed it.

For some reason, she enjoyed his company more than she thought she would. It almost made her laugh thinking about how she hated him at one point. And now look at her, the woman gave him advice and stood by him no matter what. But the only thing that scared her was the fact that he was her soulmate and true love. No love story was easy because if it was, then there's no story to begin with.

There are always obstacles and that only made her wonder as to what hurdles she and the Original Hybrid would have to face. How long would it take for them to be together? Would she go back to hating him? Would he hate her? Melody frowned internally at the thought. After what they have been through already, why would either of them hate each other?

Everyone was already referring to them as if they were together. Neither made a move and Melody wondered if either of them ever would. She did like him, just confessing it aloud scared her to pieces. The fairytale woman had never been in love before, let alone had a boyfriend. Klaus had been with plenty of people. What she even be good enough for him? She had no experience, so why would he want her when he had a ton? Was she even worth it? Was she pretty enough, was she good enough? Did Klaus even like her that way? She liked him that way, but what if he didn't?

Rebekah had finished her survey and had called some humans she compelled prior to come over and help them get ready. When she hung up the phone, Melody was still lost in her thoughts. So the blonde snapped her fingers in her face. "Hey! Melody!" The woman came to, blinking. Instantly, the Original could sense something was off. "What's wrong?"

Melody sighed heavily, running a hand through her hair. "Just me and my never-ending doubts." Her newfound friend tilted her head to the side and then sat by her, prompting her to explain.

"You can tell me anything. It'll be between us girls." When she got no answer, her tone became more soothing. "Melody, I promise you, I may not know you that well, but I do care about you. You can tell me."

"Promise not to laugh?" At the odd request, Rebekah nodded to ease her concern. She might laugh if the woman's worries were silly and were untrue, but otherwise, she wouldn't. "Am I good for Klaus?"

She couldn't help but scoff. "Oh, honey, you're too good for my brother." When she saw Melody's questioning look, she elaborated. "Nik has been with plenty girls and most of them meant nothing to him. Very few he truly did love. But I never quite liked any of them. They all whined, complained, and never knew how to stick up for themselves. They gave in to Nik's every want and desire. They never told him no, put him in his place, or had the courage to stick up for him.

"You, Melody," Rebekah continued, pushing a piece of the woman's hair behind her ear. "Are strong, brave, intelligent, beautiful, and are a total badass." Melody smiled bashfully. "You put Nik in his place, you stick up for yourself and for him, and you don't let people trample all over you. You're too good for him."

The fairytale character grabbed Rebekah's hand through the thin cover of tears. "Thank you. It's just hard because I've watched everyone in my family become happy. I never thought that I'd have a partner or have a family of my own as they do. Who would want to love a girl who doesn't think she'll ever find love?"

"Klaus obviously. I know he might not show it directly, but he does care about you. He just doesn't know how to show it to your face. Just give him time. I hate to say it but, you two are a perfect match." The expression the Original had was almost sad which only confused Melody. She didn't comment on it though.

Suddenly, the compelled humans entered and Rebekah got up, already giving them instructions. The next hour was somewhat of a blur because all the brunette could think about was what Rebekah had said. Was she right? Did Klaus care about her? Would he ever love her? Kol, Finn, and Elijah had entered the room to get ready. The compelled humans got right to work on the males' suits while two other humans worked on the two females' nails. In this time, Melody had spaced out once she chose her design.

Music played in the background while they all got ready. Rebekah offered her some dresses but the woman wasn't paying any attention again. A tailor was fixing Kol's suit and he grinned at the females from the mirror. "Rebekah? Melody? Tell me how handsome I am."

"Ah Kol, you know I can't be compelled," was what the blonde's reply was.

The fairytale woman snapped out of her trance and looked over at him, teasingly narrowing her eyes as if she were trying to look for something small. "Where?" was her response. Finn smiled and Elijah laughed along with Rebekah.

Klaus stormed into the room which made her senses suddenly awake. He glared harshly at his sister. "You went after Elena? What is wrong with you?!"

Melody looked over and smiled. "You went after doppelbitch? Good for you Bekah." She and the Original high-fived which made Klaus angrier.

"No! Do not cheer her on."

"Sorry. Don't take orders." His eyes softened by still held anger. He knew fairly well she did what she wanted and did not take other peoples crap. "You can't honestly blame her for going after the same girl who made her think they were friends until she daggered her. I would've done the same thing."

Klaus didn't listen still, deciding to threaten Rebekah even though she didn't seem to be paying attention to the words that were coming out of his mouth. "Do you want another dagger in your heart?" That gained all of their attention's, turning to look at him with matching annoyed expressions.

"Again with the dagger threats?" Kol questioned with a bored look. "Don't you have any other tricks?" A day back and he couldn't count how many threats the hybrid had made towards them. This, however, was the only one Melody was present for. From the look she gave him, the mansion would've burned right then and there because she did not take crap from anyone.

The hybrid looked at his brother with a sneer. "Oh, go back to staring at yourself." The words did nothing to affect Kol. In fact, he smirked a tad, pushing the limits because he knew that Klaus wouldn't dare do anything with Melody in the room. She'd be pissed.

"And who are you, my father?" Kol scoffed, taking a step forward from the mirror.

"No, Kol, but you're in my house."

"Then perhaps we should go outside."

They both stared at each other and Melody glanced over at Rebekah to see her watching to see if Klaus would do anything to retaliate. He didn't. Instead, the two of them just stared with burning scowls. Finn and Elijah were watching as well. But if indeed the fairytale woman was not present, Kol would've gone flying through the room. For some reason, Klaus didn't dare do that because of her. He didn't know why but that was just so.

"Enough!" Esther demanded, entering the room. Everyone looked over at her. "Niklaus. Come." Melody gave him a concerned look that he took note of. Almost instantly he knew that she didn't trust his mother. Deep down, he didn't either. It didn't seem to add up. How could she just forgive him for killing her? The thought wasn't likely. She couldn't just get over it. Could she?

Klaus followed his mother into the room next door. He let out a groan annoyance. "Rebekah wasn't even out of her box a day before she tried to ruin my life. What happened to peace, acceptance, family?"

She gave him a stern motherly stare, clasping her hands in front of her. Her sympathy was not convincing and yet he fell for it. "You put daggers in their hearts. You want them to go down on their knees and kiss your feet for reuniting them?" He questioned her as to how it was wrong for him to want his family to be as they were before. "You need to give it time, Niklaus. I've had a thousand years on the other side to be angry and to heal. I'm here to make sure this family does the same."

Melody's expression came back to him so he decided to express her worries. If she didn't trust someone, Klaus knew he'd be foolish to ignore her. She could be on to something after all. "I just don't understand. I killed you, and still, you forgive me." The way his mother reacted to the comment raised suspicion in him. But he had gotten good at covering things like that up through the years.

"It's been my dream for a thousand years that this family could be as one," she replied. "Forgiveness is not a chore. It's a gift." A smile then adorned her face. "Now, are you bringing Melody to the ball this evening?"

He sighed, knowing fairly well that he wanted to. But then the more he thought about asking her, the more nervous he got. The Original Hybrid never got afraid, especially when it came to girls. Then again, the fairytale woman was not a girl. She was an independent woman who took care of herself, was smart, brave, undeniably gorgeous—by the Gods, he was crushing on her. Klaus felt the air leave his lungs when the truth finally hit him. And now he somehow had to ask her to go to the family ball with him. Melody was going, but asking her to go with him was a different story.

"Don't be ridiculous," he ended up saying to clear his nerves. "You're lucky I'm even going." Little did he know, Esther noticed and doubted her plan to destroy her children for a split second. The whole point of the curse was to ensure her children had someone to lead them towards the light. Already Melody had Klaus under her thumb without her knowledge. But then she reeled back because she couldn't back down now. How long would it take for her children to go back to their old ways? How long would it take to break those ancient habits? She had to do it.

Esther forced a convincing smile. "Well, I wish you would reconsider. It is going to be a magical evening and I'm sure she would appreciate the gesture. She is your true love, Niklaus."

———

"Bloody hell get it together!" Klaus told himself, pacing back and forth through his art room. A box with a rather expensive dress was on the couch, Melody's charm Killian gave back to her nearby. He had stolen it and attached it to a chain so it now could be worn as a necklace. Would she be upset? Or would she like it? The hybrid had been walking around for the past few hours, trying to gain the courage to invite the woman to the ball, as well as think of a good and polite way to ask.

There was a knock at the door and he immediately assumed that it was Kol coming back for a round two of 'pissing him off'. But when he opened the door, his mouth opening to yell at his brother, Klaus stopped, seeing Melody Mills standing before him with a smirk. She looked a bit tense though which he noticed right away. He smiled back and she shifted on her foot, the awkwardness of the silence growing by the second. "Would you like to come inside?" he finally questioned. She said yes and entered. He let her in and then shut the door. "How can I help you?"

Melody looked around the room, scanning his paintings and various artworks before turning back to face him. A blush covered her cheeks. "Um, okay, I'm not exactly a female who likes traditions and so I'm winging this and going for it." She took a deep breath. "Would you like to go to the ball with me? As my date?"

He nodded, smiling more. "I'd love to." She let out a sigh of relief, holding her chest and laughing.  Melody looked to the side and saw the box and the charm. Klaus saw and quickly went over to it, grabbing them. He walked over to her. "I got you a dress and... I attached your charm to a chain. So you could wear it as a necklace." When her eyes were glued to it, her expression giving away nothing, he assumed the worst. "It can easily be undone—"

"Don't be silly!" He saw the wide smile on her face as she reached her hands towards it, grabbing it and looking at it. "Thank you. And I'm going to chose to ignore the fact that you stole this from me." Klaus chuckled. "Can I see the dress?"

The hybrid opened the lid of the box to reveal a white dress with one sleeve that was made of lace. It was decorated with gold shimmers, giving it an angelic touch. Her mouth fell agape, staring in complete and utter awe. "Klaus this is so beautiful." Melody took it out of the box and got a closer look. "Wow." He smiled, trying to hide the fact that her praise reached his heart. "Thank you."

"No need to thank me."

"Who knew Klaus Mikaelson could be humble?" she teased. Melody took a quick breath before kissing his cheek, igniting an invisible flame between them. She took a step back. "Well then. I guess I'll see you at the ball."

The fairytale woman left quickly to cover the redness of her cheeks. Klaus watched her leave and kept smiling to himself. He shook his head, looking over at his open sketchbook that she hadn't seen. Right on the page was a fresh full body sketch of Melody, with her star tattoo on her foot in the living where their stories were revealed.

———

Rebekah hadn't stop gushing over the dress, saying how beautiful it was and how much it matched Melody. She wouldn't let the brunette move from the chair as she did the woman's makeup and hair. The blonde went for something simple: black mascara with black eyeliner, her eyeshadow a blend of white and black with gold sparkles that matched her dress, her lipstick a natural color. As for her hair, Rebekah had made it into waves after going through several styles. Her shoes were simple black heels because she refused to wear anything else. It was easy to say that the female Original was jealous of Melody. She really wouldn't stop talking about how gorgeous she looked as they walked down the stairs to greet the guest.

Klaus was in the main room, tux on with a glass of champagne in his hand when he saw his sister and his true love enter the room. His heart felt like it stopped as cliche as it was. Everyone else disappeared when he landed his eyes on her. Man, he was really crushing on her. Rebekah smiled mischievously, elbowing the woman who was surveying the room. "Seems as though Mik is speechless."

She looked over and met his eyes. Melody felt the air leave her lungs. Her timid stance instantly relaxed from just the way he looked at her. Was this what it felt like when you were falling in love? Was this what her family felt when they saw their partners for the first time when they realized their feelings for them? Did this mean she was truly good enough for Klaus? Without her even realizing it, he had begun to walk over to her, making his way through the crowd. Rebekah had gone off to find Matt which her alone.

The Hybrid stopped in front of her, drinking in her appearance. "You look stunning." A smile was on his face and she smiled back.

"Don't I always?" was her response, making him laugh.

"If everyone could gather, please," Elijah said, gaining everyone's attention. Klaus looked over at her and offered his hand. She rose an eyebrow but took it. He suddenly led her to the main stairway where all of the Mikaelson stood. The guest pooled at the bottom near the front door. "What are you doing?"

Once she got her place on the steps next to him, Klaus kept their hands intertwined. Leaning over to her ear, he whispered. "You're practically family now, love." Melody smiled more and stood proudly, earning a smile from the other Mikaelsons. Elijah looked out toward the crowd. The fairytale woman caught the Salvatores' and Elena's eyes, looking down on them with a victorious smirk. Look where she was, standing with the most powerful family on the planet. Where were they? At the bottom of the hill, kissing their feet and begging for mercy. Or at least they would one day.

Elijah addressed everyone with a warm grin. "Welcome, thank you for joining us. You know, whenever my mother brings our family together like this, it's tradition for us to commence the evening with a dance. Tonight's pick is a centuries-old waltz, so if all of you could please find yourselves a partner, please join us in the ballroom."

Klaus and Melody went into the ballroom, starting to dance along with the classical music. She was experienced when it came to dancing even though she didn't really enjoy it all that much. They stayed silent but all the Original kept doing was staring at her. It began to unnerve her so she finally spoke up. "Is there a problem with my face?"

"No, of course not. It's just..." She gave him a look that told him to just spit it out. "Why do you still stand by me? After everything I've done, all the people I've killed, the families I tore apart, and lives I ruined, why stay?"

She sighed. Did he honestly not think he was worth it? It seemed like everytime they got close, he'd question her loyalty to him and she'd have to give him so sort of speech to assure him. But then he would either not believe her, or believe her which is why Klaus would go back to avoiding her. Melody knew she'd always cave and constantly tell him how much she truly did care about him. Because that's just how he was.

"Maybe because I love your house." He leaned back to give her a look. "Kidding. Not really but whatever helps you sleep at night. Anyway, I stay with you because you don't have anyone else that understands you. If it makes you feel better, tell me every single bad thing you've done, and I'll still care about you. Because I feel connected to you in a way I can't describe. And I don't know why, but I'd do pretty much anything for you."

Everyone switched partners but they didn't. Kol would've been Melody's but Klaus blocked him so they could keep dancing. He stared at her in wonder. Now in the movies, the two would've moved closer to each other and they would've kissed. This wasn't a movie, this was their lives. And instead of them pressing their lips against one another, they danced, holding each other. Klaus seemed to be lost in thought. He kissed her cheek, leaving his head there while they swayed. Melody let out a sigh of content. This was better then him kissing her. Because this was them strengthen the bond they shared. She loved every second of it.

The music stopped and everyone scattered. Klaus and Melody continued to hold each other, not caring that people were looking at them. Little did they know, Rebekah was watching with a sad smile, retreating to a hallway nearby. In another part of the mansion, Elena was learning what Esther had planned for the Mikaelsons. And she found out that not only were the Originals going to die, but Melody Mills was going to die right along with them. If killing the fairytale woman was the price to pay for getting rid of the people who terrorized this town, then she'd take it.

———

Melody had gone outside on the porch, gazing up at the sky at the stars, staring a the second star to the right. There were footsteps and it didn't take her long to realize who it was. Klaus came up beside her. "Normally it's me who dodges." She smiled for a second before it disappeared. He followed her line of sight, seeing the star. "I fancy you," he blurted out.

The brunette looked over at him, frowning. "You shouldn't."

"Why not?" His expression gave away the fact that he was stunned by her reply. "You're strong, you're brave, you stand up to me which no one dares do, and you're full of—"

"Don't," she told him, tears filling her eyes. They didn't fall. "I'm not full of light. I have darkness and I have this thing called light. Until I came to this town, I never killed anyone. I used dark magic. My heart is turning black and I don't care." Melody shook her head, quickly wiping her eye. "You're good Klaus. You deserve someone who can give make you happy. I'm just not that person for you. I'm not—"

Klaus cut her off immediately. "No, you don't say that." She looked away from him. He stepped closer and grabbed her hands, turning her to look at him. "Melody, you are good enough. You're too good for me. What you have done is nothing compared to what I have done. I'm not the person who can make you happy and yet I can't let you go. Don't ever say you're not good enough. I can assure you, angel, you are more than good enough." Melody smiled at the nickname, remembering the note he gave her. "Come on, it's warmer inside."

They walked inside to see servants walking around with glasses of champagne. Esther stood on the staircase with an identical one. Melody and Klaus grabbed one, as did everyone else.  "Good Evening, Ladies and Gentleman. Waiters are coming around with champagne. I invite you all to join me in raising a glass. It provides me with no greater joy than to see my family back together as one. I'd like to thank you all for being part of this spectacular evening. Cheers!"

Everyone raised their glasses and said "Cheers!", taking a sip of the champagne. Melody drank her's with no problem, sensing nothing off about the situation. Neither did any of the Originals who followed her suit. And none of them noticed Elena Gilbert's guilty expression.

Melody was dragged away afterward by Klaus. He led her to a room full of paintings. She smiled at them. "You know, I don't really care for sketching as much I used to. But I'm guessing you didn't bring me here to talk about art." He gave her an embarrassed smile.

"No. I want to apologize for my behavior the other day." Melody instantly knew what he was talking about. He was bringing up when they spoke about their tattoos. "When you asked me those questions... it just made me think about how I will never truly be happy. I'll always be an abomination. And after you said you didn't feel like you were good enough, I just... realized how much I've been missing out on. You bring out things in me that I've never felt before. And I can't lose you now. So come with me, we'll travel the world like you've always wanted. We can go anywhere, Itay, Rome, Paris, anywhere you want."

She sighed, looking at him in wonder. "You mean all that." When he confirmed it, Melody couldn't contain herself anymore. Years of watching each of her family members go after love and making a family of their own, years of watching the way they would smile at their partners, showing affection because they loved each other, years of wondering if she would ever have such a thing. Would she ever be able to say she found love and went after it? Would she be like her family and have a partner, sharing touches and kisses throughout their lives together? Would she have a family of her own?

Then Klaus showed up. He made her question everything. He was the villain of the story and she didn't even care. Melody went towards him, got to know him, stayed by his side, and she didn't regret any of it. Killing Mikael only proved to her that she was willing to do anything for him. She may have hated him at first, but now she could not imagine life without him. Going back to StoryBrooke, leaving him behind or traveling the world without him just wasn't an option at this point. Because he was a part of her life. He made her smile, laugh, and cry. He made her happy. Klaus Mikaelson made her want to live life to the fullest. Klaus Mikaelson made her want to tempt fate and take risks. Klaus Mikaelson made her want to love.

Melody put her hands on his cheeks, staring right into his eyes. Slowly, she leaned closer and pressed her lips against his. Klaus was shocked at first but instantly gave in, kissing her back gently. It was her first kiss after all and he was aware of it. Her hands found his hair, running through and touching every single strand. The hybrid's hand went to her waist, pulling her closer. Nearly forgetting how untouched she was, he held himself back from gripping her tighter and kissing her harder.

Cliche, who cared at this point. Nothing else mattered. With her hands in his hair and his hands on her hips, they kissed slowly, it quickly turned into something more passionate. Melody gave him every single ounce of feeling she had for him. His lips were soft but rough against her delicate ones. There were no sparks or butterflies. There was a sensation of being one. She had never felt closer to him before. Klaus was so easy with her and she appreciated it because she was not experienced. But she didn't care. The fairytale woman tugged on his hair, earning a sharp growl from him that sent shivers down her spine. His one hand went to the small of her back, pushing her closer so they were completely touching.

They pulled apart, letting their lips brush one another. Melody caught her breath before smiling wide, laughing. He grinned, chuckling along with her. She wrapped her arms around his neck. "Is there our thing now?"

"Hm?" His fingers danced on the skin of her arm. He was exploring her body and she felt almost powerful. Because Klaus was marveling at her beauty. Melody had never felt more happy or giddy in her entire life.

"Giving each other speeches until we finally break and admit that we both need each other?"

Klaus laughed again. "I suppose it is." He suddenly looked worried. "Was it bad or—"

The brunette laughed again, smiling like an idiot. "It was perfect, thank you. I'm glad it was you." She put her hands on his chest. "So does this mean we're a thing or do you still want to wait a bit?"

"Depends, do you want this? Do you want to wait?"

She became serious, shaking her head. They both stood there and were positive they heard Damon's voice and then a snapping sound. But they ignored it, continuing on with their conversation. "Yes, I want this. So, Klaus Mikaelson will you be my boyfriend?"

He smirked. "I'd love to. Only if you, Melody Mills, will be my girlfriend." She smiled again. When he went for another kiss, she pulled back.

"You got to get approved by my family first before you get to kiss me again." Klaus sighed, dramatically pouting as if not getting another kiss would kill him. "Ugh." She kissed him again. This time it was fast but still filled with emotion. "Now." She pulled out her phone and handed it to him. "Good luck."

Klaus took it from her, stealing another kiss before going to her contacts and calling Pan. Melody touched her lips as he walked away, using her magic to listen to the conversation. The hybrid greeted her father and immediately announced the news that he was dating the brunette female behind him. Almost instantly, Pan yelled and something smashed on the other line. He cursed the Original out, saying that it wasn't true and that he'd kill Klaus the next chance he got.

Melody caught Klaus's eye and smiled softly. This would get some getting used to, but her family would understand that this is what she wanted. She wanted Klaus. She wanted to know every about him. He had to be the one. He was her happy ending. And he was an unexpected one indeed.

Rebekah has a bit of a crush... my heart breaks for her honestly. But I could see her having a crush on Melody from the second they met so I had to. On another note, they kissed! Kelody finally kissed!!!!! This certainly is only the beginning so don't expect them to stay together for the rest of the series. Their story is one long bumpy road. The next chapter will include the details about how Melody's family reacted to her now dating Klaus! Stay tuned!

What did you think about Rebekah's crush on Melody? What did you think about Kelody's first kiss? I hope you guys have a great day/night and don't forget to vote on this chapter, comment your thoughts, and follow me for updates!
