Kanan woke up and looked around, he was on one of the two medic beds in the room, on the other one Ezra laid still unconscious. There was a little area with some chairs, Ani and Ahsoka sat in a chairs, sleeping. There was no windows, just gray walls.

What the KRIFF?! I can see. He thought realizing it, he sat up startled.

Ahsoka blinked awake from her chair and came over.

"Kanan are you alright?" She said, standing next to his bed.

"Ahsoka  how the force, I can see and owww, why does my arm hurt so much?" He asked and looked over at the mechanical replacement on his side. "Never mind, I remember now."

"Wait you can see?" She said, looking into his eyes. "Two implants, looks top of the line, now why would the Empire, help us?"

"I got a bad feeling about this." Kanan said, looking at Ezra again. "Wow, he's grown up."

"I know, he has." Ahsoka said.

"Wait when did he get a haircut?"

"I don't know, I've been out of the loop as much as you."

"Wow after three-ish years in darkness, relying on the force, it's weird to see again."

"I guess it would be, and by the way, thanks for saving my life." Ahsoka said.

"Any day, Soka." He said smiling and getting up out of the bed.

"Sorry about your arm." She said.

"It's not your fault."

"I know."

Ani opened her eyes from the chair and saw them talking.

"Kanan you're ok!" She exclaimed and ran up giving him a hug.

"Hey little Ani." He said, hugging her back.

"Wait you can see?" She said, letting go of him.

"Yep." He responded and Ani examined his new eyes.

"They look a little weird." She said and he laughed.

"I would of rather have not of seen again but I don't have much choice."  He said and she nodded.

"Wait what about seeing?" Ezra asked waking up and sitting up.

"The Empire gave me some cybernetic implants." He told him.

"You can see?"

"Yep."

"You can actually see me?"

"Yep."

"So you can see that wall and that chair?"

"Yep."

"So you can-"

"Ok this is getting old." Ani said cutting him off.

"Kanan." He said, running over forgetting his anger and just hugged his Master. "Now why would the Empire help us?"

"I assume they need us for something, and I'm scared to know what." Ahsoka said, sitting down on the edge of the bed.

"Ahsoka who was that inquisitor? I didn't really get a good look at her before she knocked me out cold." Ezra asked.

"It was Barris Offee, an old friend of mine, she was a Jedi, I don't know what she is now." Ahsoka said, putting her hands to her face. "I never knew what happened to her, but now I do."

"We have lost so many people to this war." Kanan said, looking at them.

They all nodded in agreement.

"The only hope is that the good people, don't get lost." Ahsoka said.

"Like Barris and Anakin did." Ani piped up.

"Not the time." Ezra said and shoot her a look, she just smiled.

Ahsoka sighed. "So much has happened, do we even know what side we are fighting for?"

"We are fighting for peace, for good." Kanan said. "At least we are trying."

Ezra nodded. "But remember there is no try."

"Don't bring Yoda into this Ezra." Ahsoka said, as she looked up and laughed.

"Kanan I'm sorry for the way I acted, I could of lost you again." Ezra told him. "I still need you."

"No Ezra I'm sorry, I can't hide from this war, I might not like it." Kanan said, looking at his friends.

"No one likes it." Ani said.

"But we need all the help we can get." He continued.

"Come on Eights we finally have a mission." Circuits yelled at him.

"I'm coming, I'm coming." Eights told his friends, running out of his newly acquired ship.

He caught up to his little group of rebels.

"The senator wants us to help escort a ship to pick up your Ghost crew friends with his daughter." Eights briefed them, when they all caught up to the ship they were taking.

"Yes a mission." Mouse said.

"Maybe you'll see Sabine." Vent joked.

"You think?" He said and perked up.

They all laughed at him.

He frowned.

"Come on." Circuits said, walking aboard the ship.

They all followed him aboard the ship, they went to the cockpit to get ready, they were met with a princess, she turned to meet them.

"Hello boys, I'm Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan." She said and smiled at them.

"Hey maybe I have a chance with her." Mouse whispered to Eights.

"You kidding me right she's a princess." He whispered back.

"Well I'm Eights, that's Circuits, Vent and the one that has a crush on you is Mouse." Eights introduced, pointing at each of them.

Mouse blushed and punched Eights in the side and he shoot him a look.

"I get that a lot, flyboy." She said and Mouse blushed harder. "Set course for Lusio, we have some Rebels to pick up." She said to the captain and the ship jumped to hyperspace.

"We'll be there in no time boys." She said and sat down.

"Is it true there is no underwear in space?" Mouse whispered to Vent.

"Shut it, you are even making me uncomfortable." Vent said and punched him in the gut.

"Point taken." Mouse choked out and they all sat down, ready to help their old friends.
