"You can't kill Kanan, he's your Master." Sabine protested

"I don't care about him and I don't care about any of you." Ezra snapped.

"Ezra...."

"Sabine I can't care about you anymore, I won't allow myself to." Tekara said and looked at her.

"Please take off your mask." Sabine said, not knowing what to say.

He looked down and took off the mask and looked up.

Sabine gasped.

"Happy now?" He said and looked away.

"Ezra, what happened?"

"I failed when I came back, I had to be punished."

Sabine tried to get another look at him, a lightsabers had cut straight down the left of his face and led to his left shoulder, oddly his left eye, which the blade looked as if it had cut though, was fine.

"And also this." He said and it appeared as if his whole left arm came off.

She held in a scream.

He put his arm back on, it blending in with his black clothes.

"Ezra come back with us, we'll hide from the Empire, run, you do not need to do this."

"I need to bring peace to the galaxy and it appears if the Empire is the only way, there is so much wrong with this galaxy, who cares who dies to fix it, even you." He said and put a red blade to her neck.

"Prisoner transfer what do you mean by prisoner transfer." Zeb asked Chopper as he reported what he found on Kanan. "Kanan's being moved now!"

He beeped some more.

"The got orders to take him to a star destroy for execution." Cassian said.

"We have to save him." Zeb said. "Chopper find the cell block he's in and unlock this do-"

"We had direct orders to see if he's here, we weren't told to help him." Cassian said, putting a hand over Zeb's mouth.

Zeb moved his hand.

"We weren't told not too." Zeb told him as Chopper opened the door. "Let's go."

Cassian shook his head. "We have orders." He yelled and chased the two inside, shooting down stormtroopers in his way.

"Hurry and plug in Chop." Zeb told the droid once they got to a terminal, Cassian caught up and covered their back.

"He's heading to the west hanger bay." Zeb recapped and they began to run that way.

"Come on droid." Cassian told Chopper and followed.

The door to his cell opened.

"Time to go." The trooper said and Kanan got up and followed.

He heard explosions from the other side of the prison.

"A lot of explosions for two people on a stealth mission." K2 said walking up.

"How did you get here?" Cassian asked, hiding for cover behind a ship, with Zeb and Chopper.

"I parked the ship here and the ship was boring." K2 said and Cassian rolled his eyes.

"Start it up, we need a quick escape." Cassian told him.

"Fine, but don't blame me if you die." The droid said and went back over to the U-wing.

"They should be here any minute now." Zeb said watching the door.

Kanan knew where he was going, he knew what would happen, but he didn't know if he'll be ready for it.

The doors to the hanger bay opened and he walked in.

"I see him." Zeb said, looking around the corner as Kanan came into view.

"Ok let's hurry this up." Cassian said and Chopper beeped.

"Don't worry we'll get him." Zeb said, drawing his gun and shooting at the troops around Kanan.

Shots rang past Kanan's ears but he was still pushed on board by the surviving troops.

They pushed him on the ship and locked him in a cell.

"New plan, we're taking that ship." Zeb said, running out.

"Zeb wait!" Cassian yelled but it was too late, a shot hit Zeb in the back and he fell.

Tekara lower the blade to her neck and unignited it.

He leaned over on pain, another loss to many more.

Sabine looked startled and stared at Ezra.

"Ezra?" Sabine asked.

"Zeb's gone." He choked out, collapsing and sitting on the floor.

"This is why I can't care." He said and they both began to have silent tears roll down their face, morning their lost friend.

"Zeb!" Kanan yelled out from his cell and a trooper banged on his cell.

"Quiet." He said and Kanan sank down onto the floor of the cell.

The lasat's gone. Ahsoka thought and was surprised when she felt tears running down her face.

Cassian shot the troop that had shot Zeb and he fell, dead.

Chopper let out a worried 'whop'.

"We have to go now droid." Cassian told Chopper and he made a run for the ship.

Chopper beeped.

"Fine, I'll get him." Cassian said, coming back and grabbing the limb body of the heavy lasat.

"Happy now?" Cassian told the droid and they ran onto the U-wing.

"Let's go K2!" Cassian yelled, putting Zeb down on the bench and heading to the pilot's chair.

"Making calculations." K2 said and programmed the jump to hyperspace.

"Let's go!" Cassian said and they left the planet and jumped to hyperspace.

Without Kanan.

"I'm sorry but he's gone." Cassian told the droid, getting up and walking over to Zeb's limb body.

Chopper beeped some sad tones.

"Just another lost in this horrid war." K2 said.

"And not the last." Cassian said as he looked at the lasat he just met and was shocked to know he was gone.
