"Ezra I must warn you." Kanan told him, letting him go.

"Of what?" Ezra said, becoming worried.

"Ani, Ani's pull to the dark side is strong, stronger than yours was. That's one of the reasons we are hiding, hoping the same thing doesn't happen to her, like her namesakes." Kanan told him.

"Why?" He asked.

"I don't know, I don't know..." He trailed off.

"Was her extra training worth it Lord Vader?" Thrawn asked the sith, looking at the masked figure by them few feet away.

"She is key to recapturing Ezra Bridger and his crew." Vader responded.

"Are you sure?" Thrawn said, facing him again.

"I assure you she will not fail, she knows what is right." Vader said, walking out of the room leaving Thrawn with the inquisitor.

"Second Sister, head to Lothal, that is our last lead of the Rebels." He told her, facing the console again.

"Yes sir." She said coldly, walking out of the room to an escort shuttle.

"Master, what happens now?" Ezra asked Kanan.

"I don't know." He told his padawan.

"You have to come with us, Ahsoka and Ani has to come with us, you can't stay here alone." Ezra pleaded.

"Ezra, I have to stay." Kanan told him.

"What?! Please, I need you, you can't stay....you can't." Ezra said fighting tears.

"Ezra listen-" Kanan started.

"No you listen." Ezra cut him off. "I need you, Hera needs you, our crew needs you back Kanan. I just fought the dark side, I killed hundreds of people Kanan.........I need help..... I need guidance." He said, tears running down his face. "I was a monster, I am a monster, I can't do this alone Kanan."

"You could stay with us here." He told him.

"The rebellion needs us too Kanan, the galaxy needs us, we can't just hide like hermits, I have to protect everyone." Ezra said, growing angry.

"Ezra calm down." Kanan told him, backing up a bit.

"No you calm down, I hurt so many people, I killed so many innocent people, while you just stayed here and hide from us, from me, Master." Ezra said, his eyes growing yellow and his voice rising.

"You would of killed me Ezra, you weren't yourself." His Master pleaded.

"You try having a chip in your neck, controlling what you believe, what you think is right. With that kind of power what chance does this rebellion have, we need to help them, I need to grow stronger." He said as Kanan got closer to the hut. "I can't let them hurt anyone else, no one else needs to suffer because of their tyranny, we need to stop it."

"What can we do Ezra, we are two force wielders lost in this conflict?" Kanan told them.

"You are sounding like the Kanan that just discovered that this rebellion was something bigger, that it couldn't just be the five of us anymore." Ezra snapped.

"And you are sounding like the Ezra that opened the sith holocron." Kanan sassed,

"I've changed Kanan, I can't hide."

"We both have."

"We have, maybe it's time for you not to train me."

"Ezra-"

"This isn't the same Master I first started training with, I don't want you to teach me anymore." He said looking into the trees away from Kanan. "If you don't want to help me, help us, I'm not your padawan anymore."

"I don't know what to say."

"Then don't say anything, just go hide, you seem to be good at that, Kanan." He said, storming into the hut, sitting down by Sabine.

"What's the matter?" Sabine asked him, scared, noticing his yellow eyes.

"Kanan is not coming with us." He muttered and Hera looked at Kanan walking into the hut.

"Kanan?" She asked and Kanan gulped.

"He has to stay, he doesn't want to fight anymore." Ezra said on Kanan's behalf.

"I never said that." Kanan told him standing up behind Hera.

"So you are going to come with us?" Hera asked turning around and looking up at Kanan.

"I didn't say that either." Kanan said, looking at all of his old friends.

"Kanan why?" Hera asking trying to hide the pain in her voice.

"He just doesn't want things to change." Ezra said getting up.

"Ezra where are you going?" Sabine asked putting a hand on his side.

"To destroy the sith." He said, and ran out of the hut.

"Ezra!" Sabine said running after him as everyone else got out.

"Don't do anything rash." Kanan yelled at him as he reached the end of the platform.

"I'll rather do something rash than hide." He said and with that he jumped of the platform and used the force to land.

"Ezra!" Sabine yelled again as he disappeared into the forest.

"Comm Chopper make sure he doesn't take the Phantom 2." Hera told Zeb and Sabine.

"On it." Zeb said pulling out his comm. "Come in Chopper."

He heard a whop on the other side.

"Don't let Ezra get take off with the Phantom 2." He said. "Just don't ok."

He heard a faint whop of ok from the other side.

"Me and Ahsoka will go after him." Ani said. "Kanan you have done enough, we'll see if we can reason with him."

"I'll come, you don't know where the Ghost is." Sabine told them.

"Think you can keep up?" Ani said and smiled.

"I think I can mange." Sabine told them and started to climb down the ladder.

"We'll be back just stay here." Ahsoka said as her and Ani jumped off the platform after Ezra.

Kanan nodded and sat down on the edge of the platform with Hera and Zeb.

"What now?" Hera asked.

"I don't know but I felt as if something dark has started chasing us again." He replied as they sat and watched the three girls disappear into the jungle.

The inquisitor landed on Lothal and went to the burning farm. She found nothing in the rubble just remnants of the past. She sat down near the front of the farm.

Ezra where are you? She echoed though the force hoping for a sign, she didn't want to fail, she has already failed one too many times.
