A Lost Planet
Ezra walked to the cockpit of the Ghost and sat down behind Hera.
"Ready?" She asked him.
"Yep." He responded and Hera pulled the Ghost into hyperspace to go to Lothal.

"Kanan you got the fire ready?" The young girl yelled up as she reached the top.
Sith, I forgot again. The Jedi thought hurrying to start the fire.
Getting no response the girl assumed no. "He forgot again." She whispered to the woman and she nodded as the two climbed over the platform and saw Kanan trying to make quick work to start a fire.
"We did good hunting, we got two quirrs." The girl said, proudly.
"That's great." He said finally getting a spark.
"Took a while to start the fire?" The woman asked.
"Yep, with the wind and all of this wet wood it was hard to get it started." Kanan said making up an excuse.
"Do you mind preparing the meat?" The woman asked the girl as she went and helped Kanan grow the flame of the fire.
"Not at all." She said running into the hut to get her tools.
"Just don't use your lightsaber this time." She yelled as she threw sticks into the fire.
"Come on that's the easiest way to cut it." She whined but grabbed the knife anyway.
The girl became working on the meat throwing the scraps down to the forest floor for the pidaunts.
Once Kanan and the woman had the fire big enough to cook the meat the young girl finished up with the meat and brought it over.
"Thanks." Kanan told her and put it on the stick over the fire to cook it.
"I'll put the rest in the cooler." The woman said and she took what was left of the quirr and climbed back down the tree.
She then opened a little door at the forest floor and walked into the cooler they dug. She then put the meat in the coldest corner of the small room and climbed back up to the platform.
"The meat's ready." Kanan said pulling it off the stick and onto a slab of bark they used as a plate.
"I'll get the water." The girl said and walked over to where they collected stage rain water from the frequent rain that came though here, she grabbed their gourds they used as cups and filled them up.
"Thanks." The woman said as she took her gourd from the girl.
"No problem." She replied and cut a chuck of meat off from the main pile and placed it on her own piece of bark, the other two did too.
"To the unknown." The girl said and raised her gourd.
"To the unknown." The other two said and they hit their gourds together in toast of whatever is coming.

The crew of the Ghost reached Lothal and they entered the atmosphere and landed, near the desolate ruins of the old Jedi temple.
"They tore it apart." Ezra exclaimed as he looked out the window to see the temple in ruins, everything taken.
Sabine gasped and Chopper beeped.
"Let's hope the force is still with it." Hera said opening the ramp and all of them got out of the Ghost.
"Maybe there is another door." Sabine said as all of them reached the entrance Ezra had gone though long ago, to find Yoda, to seek knowledge.
"I can't do it alone." Ezra said glumly. "It takes two."
"Well maybe if we all try together we can get it open, me, Hera and Zeb have to count for something. Just cause I can't use the force doesn't mean I don't it's there." Sabrina told Ezra, his spirits lifting.
"That might work, ok everyone put out their hand and focus, visualize another door rising up and showing itself to us." Ezra told them.
"This is silly." Zeb said but Sabine and Hera ignored them as they both closed there eyes and put out their hand.
"It's for Kanan." Ezra said and mimicked the girls, knowing he will have to do most of the work himself.
Zeb grudgingly agreed with him and tried to focus on the temple, now half gone from the imperial raid.
Slowly it began to rise.

As they finished eating clouds began to roll in.
"Looks like another rain storm is coming." The woman said taking the last bit of her quirr.
"It does." The young girl said and stood up. "Let's head inside Kanan."
He nodded and stood up. "Can you take my plate?" He asked the girl.
"Sure." She said and she took both Kanan's and the woman's plate.
"Come on." The woman said and she began to go inside.
"Coming." The girl said as she collected the gourds and put them by their rain water bucket, Kanan walked inside following the woman.
He sat down when they heard a crash from outside, he was about to get up when the girl responded.
"I'm ok." The girl yelled. "I just tripped."
"Ok." The woman yelled back, and she sat down beside Kanan. "Just get in here."
They heard her pick up the plates she had dropped and she ran inside. She then when to their cabinets and put the plates inside of it. Then she came to join the other two in the living room as it started raining.
"How did you 'just trip' and get that nasty gash on your leg?" The woman asked as she noticed a cut on the girl's leg.
"There was a stick sticking out of platform I cut it on my leg." She responded. "Should I get a bandage to cover it up?"
"No, you may now be able to use your lightsaber to cut meat, but that doesn't mean you can't force heal your own leg." The woman told her.
"But force healing makes me tired." She told the woman.
"In time you will learn to use your powers better, and that only comes with practice." The woman advised. "We don't have very good medical supplies out here, we are grateful you can force heal, healers are very rare, even rarer after Order 66."
The girl shuddered at the mention of the order, she had hear all to vivid stories from her two friends.
"Fine." She said sitting down in a chair and crossing her leg over onto her lap so she could get a better view of the cut.
She closed her eyes and focused on the task at hand, the woman watched as the cut slowly stopped bleeding and began to scab over until there was nothing left but a vague outline of the cut.
"Good job." The woman told her.
"Thanks and I feel less tired than I was last time." The girl said and opened her eyes.
The woman smiled and sensed something was off about Kanan, he was like that during the dinner but now it was ever stronger as if he was thinking. Ask me wants on my mind. And screaming it in force aspects.
"What is if Kanan?" She and the girl said almost simultaneously.
"My old padawan is trying to contact me." He told the two of them. The girl didn't know much about his past life, either of their pasts life to be clear, but they had told her enough to keep her satisfied and not asking anymore questions.
"He name is Ezra Bridger, right?" She asked him and the woman nodded.
"I once knew him too." She told her and the girl nodded.
"Why is he trying to contact you, after all these years, to finally finish you off?" The woman said to Kanan.
"He's not in the Empire's control anymore." He told the two and the girl gasped.
"How can you be sure?" The woman said.
"He was able to project a message out here, I was unable to respond because this planet is so far out of reach it's hard to do that in general ad I didn't sense anything off, I didn't sense darkness for once." Kanan told them.
"Even if that's true, we can't let him find us." The woman said.
"He was like my son, I thought I had lost him, but here's a chance to get him back, if you had that opportunity would you waste it?" Kanan told the woman as the girl watched their bickering with interest.
The woman remembered an old friend she had known, turned to the dark side, taken away from her by his own greed for power and she could never get him back, she had tried, she had failed.
Kanan sensed her remembering her old friend. "Please." He told her and she nodded.
"I won't waste that opportunity." She said. "Come on, if he has a plan we have to help him." She slides off her chair onto the floor.
"Make a circle." She said and crossed her legs and held out her hands.
The other two did the same and they made a circle together holding hands.
"Focus."
