The positivity, or if it's just lost in the maze.

I hear tales of despondence all around
And it's no wonder we're deaf to the sound
Of second chances and new bounds
It all just seems to bring on the wrath of
Mind-borne hounds.

So I busy myself all times of the day,
Forgoing sleep most nights
Just to keep the nightmares at bay.

So, usually when I'm pondering over death and wrath and all things gore, I find a certain peace and stillness in it, after a while. Like, it doesn't really affect as much as it would've if I'd known only a tad less than what I know now.

I believe that the way we choose to spend our time, and the choices we make, which may be as simple as deciding whether to watch another episode or read another chapter (sleeping can wait), really defines us. Not in a lazy, you're-a-procrastinator, sort of way.

It's like, you know what you know because you chose to know it. This chapter may not have specifically changed your life, but trust me, it did contribute to it in some small, unique way. And I think that's beautiful. Cherish that. ❤️
