I just got an email saying I got into my dream school!!!!

It's the best school in my entire state and only allows the top 450 brightest students in the state at any one time. And we do the International Baccalaureate and they have a whole campus devoted just to science and they work with the Universities to make sure we always have the highest quality equipment that money can buy.

I'm sorry, I sound like I'm bragging; I'm not. I'm SO SO SO SO SO blown away, I can't believe they'd pick someone like me - MEEE, a stubborn, lazy, clumsy slash writer - to be in their school!

A-And I didn't even get put on the waiting list! Like they have a list where it's like "Okay you did well enough to get in but we're going to hold out to make sure nobody better comes along" but I didn't even get put on that list!! They let me straight in???? A first-priority student????? ME?!?!

So when I got the email I started laughing and then I couldn't help it, I started crying - no, sobbing - because I was just so happy and then I cried for like an hour and even typing it makes me want to burst into tears again I just can't believe I got in and it's the best feeling on Earth.

There are really no words to describe how much getting into this school means to me. I mean, crying over a school is pretty pathetic, isn't it? I must be really stupid to burst into tears over it but I was just so shocked, it made me feel like I'm really worth something, you know?

I can't describe to you how I felt - how I feel - but... this might just be the best thing I've ever experienced.

And to - ahem - TOP it off, the new twenty-one pilots song was leaked. I think Heathens will always hold a very special place in my heart; I was listening to it as I opened the email.
