"Am I the only one that feels like summer has only been, literally, 5 seconds long?" Ashton asks as he gazed up at the stars littering the once clear sky.
"That's it!" Alice shrieks, bolting up-right, out of my grasp. "I've figured it out!"
"Figured what out?" Calum questions, sitting up from his previous position on the sand.
I sit up too, using my hands to support my weight on the cold sand.
"The name of your band!" She shouts grabbing the front of my shirt. Her eyes exuded excitement as she stood up in front of us.
"I swear if it's as lame as the 4 Amigos-" Michael starts but is interrupted by the blonde's shrill voice.
"5 Seconds of Summer!" She shrieks.
Peaking Ashton's interest, he sits up and we all exchange glances. Alice looks at us expectantly, waiting for some type of reaction.
"It has a ring to it..." Michael ponders.
"Please welcome to the MTV Unplugged session, 5 Seconds of Summer!" Ashton mimics an announcer voice, as Calum creates the sound of an audience cheering.
Placing her hands on her narrow waist, Alice smirks, "Well hot damn boys, I think we've got ourselves a name."
We all burst out into animalistic cheers. The once quiet beach was now filled with the sound of three teen boys charging the waves in excitement, while I found Alice, with her mysterious brown eyes and sunburnt skin wrapped in my arms; the moonlight bouncing off of her bare shoulders as we both leaned in for a kiss not even amnesia could erase.

Nothing mattered more than those 5 seconds of summer.
