Sidharth and Arvind both return home along with a police inspector.

Sidharth: Sana, the police wants to take your statement since you are the one who witnessed it. Don't be scared and just answer correctly.

Shehnaaz nods and both Sidharth and Arvind stand outside the room.

Inspector: Yes, Mrs. Shehnaaz Shastri, could you tell us what exactly happened?

Shehnaaz: I was waiting outside the theatre for my husband to return with a horse cart when I saw a car speeding towards me. I looked at the driver who was none other than Patralekha. I jumped from my place to move but the car brushed me, making me land on the ground.

Inspector: Who is this Patralekha you are talking about? What's her second name or surname?

Shehnaaz: I.. I don't know. But she was my husband's classmate in college and I have met her once just 2 days back.

Inspector: What was she wearing?

Shehnaaz: Huh? (She tries recalling it) Hmm.. I can't remember.

Inspector: What was the car number?

Shehnaaz: I didn't pay attention to it.

Inspector: Did you had a fight or argument with her?

Shehnaaz: No.. but..

Inspector: Mrs. Shastri, you don't remember anything yet you claim to have seen that person. We can't book a case on baseless points or having ambiguity or no evidence at all.

Shehnaaz: But I have seen her face. I do recognise her.

Inspector: You are talking about a respectable person in the society and how could you simply blame that person without any proper evidence?

He said so and started walking out as Shehnaaz looked at him in shock. Sidharth and Arvind enter the room and Shehnaaz narrates them what exactly happened.

Arvind: What? He cannot deny writing an FIR like this. That's upon court to decide. Wait, let me check with him.

Arvind goes out while Sidharth was fuming in anger.

Sidharth: People dance on the tune of money. If we go by law, they would never help middle class people us. She needs a different kind of treatment. I will kill her.

Shehnaaz: What? You are right. Go kill her and end up in jail. Then we will be happy. I will be happiest person after you've gone to prison. People will respect me for being a murderer's wife.

Sidharth: Then what do you expect me to do? Just sit quietly and let her harm you again?

Shehnaaz: Jiju has gone to speak to him right? Will wait for him. We will follow a safe method to get out of this.

Sidharth nods and waits for Arvind to arrive. Arvind tells him that they've taken the complaint but to be on safer side they should take help of newspaper. Sidharth goes and contacts a news agency.

The next day a big headline comes out on the front page with the article. Additionally, they file a complaint that if any person in Sidharth's house is harmed then the prime suspect will be Patralekha.

Patralekha was trapped in her own web of misdeeds as after reading the article in newspaper two more witnesses give their testimony who saw the accident. Patralekha's father (PF) comes to Arvind's house.

PF: I am really very sorry on my daughter's behaviour. I will make her understand that what she did was wrong. Our reputation is gone down. Kindly take back your complaint to spare her life.

Sidharth: Sir, I feel sorry for you that you have to apologize for your daughter's deed but how will you make her understand this? You should have done this earlier in life. And it wasn't a small thing. I could have lost my wife permanently to this accident.

PF: I am guilty that I was blinded in love for my daughter. But trust me I will make her understand this time.

Shehnaaz feels pity for him. She looks at Sidharth who was angry. Sidharth looks at her and she makes a puppy face to ask him to forgive them. But he frowns and looks to the other side.

Shehnaaz: Uncle, please give us time. I will speak to my husband.

PF: Thank you Beta ji.

PF goes away by folding his hands infront of both of them.

Shehnaaz: Oh Patidev! It's been 2 weeks for the incident and you are still angry over it. I think we should take back the case.

Sidharth: I have a better option. I will marry Patralekha instead. Atleast she is brave than you who knows to fight for herself.

Shehnaaz: (glares at him) Huh? What did you say? You want to marry her?

Sidharth: Yes.

Shehnaaz: Okay, go ahead! If brave means to be stone hearted for you then I am happy being a coward. Couldn't you see how humiliated her father was? I saw my baapu in him. Her life is spoilt since nobody will marry her due to the bad name. You realize how hard it is to see a daughter sitting at home like this?

Sidharth was reminded of Mahinder's health when he visited Lakhanpur to give a divorce to Sana. He felt guilty of his deeds then.

Sidharth: Okay, fine. But she has to ask for a written apology to you and that she won't harm you in future.

Shehnaaz: Okay. Thank you.

In the evening, doctor examines her leg and declares her to be fine as all her wounds and sprain was recovered.

Sidharth was checking the homeworks submitted by his students. Shehnaaz was helping Sunaina with cooking dinner. Once done, they all sit to have their dinner.

Sidharth: This sabzi is very tasty Sunaina Bhabhi.

Sunaina: I knew you would like it Jiju, because it is made by Sana. It's the first time she cooked something, she usually helped me in cooking.

Sidharth looks at Shehnaaz who was not looking at him but feeding Vijay.

Sidharth: Good for me. I was scared what will happen to me from next week.

Arvind: Huh? What's with the next week?

Sidharth: I've found a house on rent. Will shift next week.

Sunaina: What? Sana didn't tell me anything regarding this.

Sidharth: I hadn't told her as well about it. I just got it confirmed today afternoon.

Arvind: But what's the need, we can stay together here itself.

Sidharth: Bhaiyya, I would've loved to stay but I want to call Maa as well to stay with us. Hence I am shifting first and then convince her to come and stay.

Arvind: Hmm.. okay. In that case I will not stop you. Just take care of our Sana.

Sidharth: (smiles) I will.

Sunaina hugs Sana with teary eyes. While both Sidharth and Arvind look at them and then at each other.

Sidharth: Are you planning our send-off today itself?

Sunaina: (smiles through her tears) Jiju.. I just got emotional since she has been with me since birth.

Sidharth: I understand but you can always meet her anytime since we will be in the same city.

Sunaina: Okay. But still I'll miss her.(Wipes her tears)

Sana: I'll miss you too Didi.

Vijay: Where is Sanu Maasi going?

Sunaina: She is going to stay with Sidharth Mausa ji.

Vijay: Why?

They all looked at each other.

Sunaina: Because Sanu Maasi is married to Mausa so she will have to stay with her husband now.

Vijay: Sanu Maasi, can you marry me? I will become your husband and you can stay with me.

Sana: Huh? (Surprised)

Everyone starts laughing. They were done with their dinner and disperse to sleep. Sidharth had a few more books to check. He finished it off quickly before going back to room.
