~Tia's P.O.V~
Our graduation party is today. I told everyone to be here at twelve p.m but we don't start to board until 1:30 because these black folks love to come late and by telling them an earlier time, they'll be on time or come a LITTLE after the time we're supposed to get on. I'm not excluded because I run on C.P time on events like these but today I got here early to pick the best room as well as the making sure my room is clean. I brought my own sheets because that's what I do. This is a five-day thing and we're supposed to be sleeping on the yacht.
My uncle who acts SO much like K-Ci wanted to come so I said he could come. I mean K-Ci and my uncle sing alike and don't care about anything. My uncle is a carefree spirit and I love it. He doesn't care who he's around and he'd still act the same. There are plenty of things to do during the duration of our stays like jet skis, swimming, a bunch of games, and drink for the drinkers. We're getting on a boat so there's a limit on how much you drink. We don't need anyone drinking, falling in the water then drowning.
There will be a bunch of us. My uncle, Yasir, Ashari, Courtney, Jasmine, Elijah, Jacob, Algee, Megan, Lizzo, Thamar, Woody, JoJo, K-Ci, Dalvin, Chika, Cole Donald, security, and myself. Dalvin is supposed to bring Tionne. Tupac is also supposed to be coming but we haven't heard from him since the day of my graduation. I've NEVER been on a moving boat before in my life, and I hope I don't get seasick. I tend to get the short end of the stick with many things.
"Hurry yo ass up, shit." My uncle said rushing me onto the yacht.
"Dang! Chill unc, I'm just trying not to bust my behind. This dock is moving and if I fall and bust my behind, you can't save me because YOU can't swim." I turned around to face him and spoke.
"You damn right! Ain't no use to the both of us drownin'!" He yelled.
"Okay, so you can get around or walk slowly behind me but don't rush me." I turned back around and walked carefully down the dock.
"Gatdamn! Walk yo ass up! Shit!" He said impatiently.
I just laughed then held onto the docks stump. "Go around me." I gestured
"So I can buss my ass?" He said giving me this 'are you on drugs?' look.
"Man, I'm tired of you already. I can't deal with you this whole trip." I said laughing.
"Did I ever get tired of pickin' yo ass up from school all those times?" He asked me.
"Man, that was elementary. You bringing up old stuff. I just graduated college." I rolled my eyes.
"Do that to yo nigga and you ain't gotta worry bout bussing yo own ass, he gon' do it for you." He pointed at me.
"If my dude hit me, he ain't my dude no more AND he gon' be a dead ex. Pshh." I told him and rolled my eyes again. "Gon' 'head or we gon' be standing here all day?" I asked him.
"That's right. You 'on't take no shit from no nigga, but imma watch you bust yo head." He gestured for me to go.
"Aht, now see..." I trailed off.
"I'm tired of boffa y'all!" Yasir said walking past us with Ashari.
"Girl, don't worry about him. He just mad because I'm not givin' it up." Ashari told me.
"Give him some then! Shit! You gon' do it anyway. Why wait? The fuck?" My uncle said loudly.
I side-eyed him then turned back to Ashari in disgust. "Uhh, ewww. Don't nobody wanna hear that about their brother. What's wrong with you?" I asked her.
"Girl shut up. It's natural. Everybody fuck!" He said taking a drag from his cigarette.
Donald, Dalvin, and Tionne came into view. "Oh, thank God." I sighed in relief as they came closer.
"The hell you look so down for?" Donald asked me.
I gestured to my uncle. "Him."
"Why'd you invite him then?" He asked me.
"Nigga, I can hear yo ass! I may be a lil older but both ears still work." My uncle pointed to Donald with his hand that held his cigarette.
"Uhh, I'm aware of that," Donald said nonchalantly. "I got two eyes." He mocked.
"You see-" My uncle was cut off.
"Hey, girl!" Tionne said to me.
"Hi!" I replied with the same energy she gave.
"Wassup!" Dalvin said to me.
"Hi, Dalvin." I waved.
"You gon' go or not?" My uncle asked me.
"You gon' keep complainin' about me walking slow or not?" I asked and he just stared at me blankly. "Well, you go then." I smiled irritated.
"You always been difficult!" He said walking off.
"Is that the cat callin' the kettle black!?" I yelled out loud enough for him to hear. He waved his hand at me in dismissal. "I'm tireT." I sighed.
Donald laughed. "I'm tireT." He mocked me in his best high-pitched tone.
I scoffed. "I DO NOT sound ANYTHING like that." I laughed.
"Come on," Donald said then pulled me. "Let's go."
"Okay," I replied then walking again.
"Where's that pep in yo step you used to have? Yo ass is walking slow." Donald stopped to look at me.
"This thing is moving and I'm getting motion sickness," I told him.
"Oh!" He nodded in understanding. "Seasick? Well, if you're feeling it now, it'll definitely be worse on the yacht."
"Boy, I'm gettin' on that yacht. I don't care whether I get sick or not. I don't care if I have to crawl." I said to him then started back walking.
Donald grabbed my suitcase. "I got it. Now, get your sick as on." He chuckled.
"Thanks." I smiled then walked into the center of the dock.
We made it onto the yacht. I started looking through the rooms and finally chose mines.
"I was going to choose this one." Donald frowned.
"I'm sorry." I apologized.
"I'll take the one across the hall then." Donald sighed then turned around.
"Okay." I nodded then closed my door. I washed my hands then walked back out the door, back up the stairs, and near the entrance.
"Hey, sis!" Elijah hugged me.
"Hello, again. We live in the same house and you could've came with me." I told him.
"Yeah, girl... But I wanted to spend some quality time with my man." He moved over to reveal his new boo thang.
(Disregard the phone y'all.)
"Oooo, okay. I'm Tia." I said taken aback.
"Darius." He introduced.
"Hello, Darius." I smiled at Elijah with raised eyebrows.
"Girl..." Elijah trailed off. "Come on baby." He grabbed his hand.
"This is turning into a couple's thing, huh? Everybody boo'd up." I said to Elijah.
"And you're mad because you're boo-less?" Elijah raised his eyebrows.
I shifted my eyes and... Guess who I saw? Megan with Aldis punk ass. "Oh, hell nahh!" Yasir yelled as I stepped down. "Fuck is his ass doin' here!?" Yasir shouted.
"Megan, what the hell are you doing with this punk-ass who calls himself a man?" I asked her.
"Dalvin bought his boo!" She shrugged at me. "What's the problem?"
"What's the-" I was cut off by Elijah.
"Did you just ask what was the problem!? Bitch, I should beat your ass!" Elijah yelled.
"What the hell does Dalvin have to do with this?" I asked Megan.
"Since he brought his girl, I thought I could bring me, somebody, too! What you mad for?" She frowned.
"You know why the fuck I'm angry!" I pointed at her face.
"Get your finger out my face!" She jerked her head back.
"Look, Megan, get his ass out of here or you can go too!" I yelled with my finger still up.
"She mad because Dalvin bought Tionne when they fuckin' behind her back. Ol' messy ass bitch!" Elijah yelled.
"Elijah, you got one mo' time to come at me like that!" Megan yelled.
"Bitch, or what?" Elijah said unfazed. "What the fuck you gon' do?" He stepped down. "I don't hit bitches but you's a snake, so I guess that's an exception."
"I don't know you but if you were supposed to be my sister's friend, you'd get his ass out of here," Yasir said to Megan. "Before I take his ass out!" Yasir lunged at Aldis but security grabbed Yasir.
"Your ass is messy as hell! Bitch, you can get on too!" Jasmine said yelling. "Why would you bring this nigga?" Jasmine questioned Megan.
"What's going on out here?" Donald said coming our way.
"Right, all we hear is a bunch of screaming." Dalvin came from around the corner with Tionne.
"This messy ass bitch!" Elijah pointed to her with his four fingers.
"Who Meg?" Dalvin frowned.
"Who the fuck else?" Elijah rolled his head as he spoke.
"Meg's cool." Dalvin shrugged. "Who's this nigga?" Dalvin asked.
"The fuck you mad for?" Tionne frowned at Dalvin.
"Fuck this nigga! Get yo as on!" Yasir yelled.
"Why would I leave when I'm wanted here?" Aldis finally spoke.
"Nigga, is you dumb? Everybody but this bitch want you to go." My uncle spoke while smoking a cigarette. "Get the fuck on." He threw his hand at him. "Take this bitch with you!" He pointed to Megan.
"Bitch?" Megan rolled her neck.
"Ain't that what the fuck I said?" My uncle laughed. "He had to do some bad shit if my niece don't like his ass and you know about it. You must be a messy ass hoe." My uncle shrugged.
"Hold up now, how she a bitch?" Dalvin said getting upset.
"I'm not goin' to repeat myself again besides the part about her being a bitch." My uncle took a puff of his cigarette then blew it out from his nose. "I know a bitch when I see one."
"Why can't she stay? The hell she do?" Dalvin asked.
"Woah, woah, woah!" Woody arrived. "What's going on?" He said jogging up the deck.
"This messy bitch bringin' this punk ass nigga." Elijah rested his hand on his hip.
"You gotta go!" Woody said to Aldis. "You can go too Megan and take your company with you." Woody shook his head.
"I'll gladly refund you for the money you spent to get here," I added.
"Tuhhh, I don't have to bring him but I'm getting on here to have me some fun." Megan put her hand in Aldis's face.
"You gon' do me like that?" Aldis asked her with furrowed eyebrows.
"Get the fuck on. There's plenty of niggas on here to get dick from." Megan grabbed her bag then stepped onto the yacht.
"Just let her on," Dalvin said to me.
"I'm sick of this shit." I shook my head and took a deep breath.
Remember, I have BDP and when we get angry, it's going to be hard to calm us down. Once I'm on ten, I'm on ten for a long time. It's EXTREMELY important that I don't lose my cool. I can't be acting crazy on a trip and having people walk on eggshells because I'm one one. It's happened plenty of times throughout my life and I don't need that and that's why I let it go. I could literally feel myself slipping off the edge and had to breathe like I was taught.
Aldis embarrassed me in front of everybody weeks before graduation day, and I WENT the fuck off. I almost got kicked out of school until they saw my grades and that I had never been in any trouble. Luckily, I was let off with a warning. Megan witnessed this herself and still does this. She is messy and I TRY to give people chances. Next time, I won't stop myself though. Whatever happens, happens.
"She got one more time." I held up one finger. I'm ALWAYS trying to give people chances. I took more deep breathes.
"Tuhhh, ain't no more chances with me." Elijah rolled his eyes. "I'm going off the FIRST chance I get. Let's go, Darius." Elijah said walking back up the stairs.
"Nahhh, you should've let that bitch go. I can see she gon' cause a lot of trouble." My uncle shook his head at me. "You too nice."
"I'm tired." I went back up the stairs.
"I should push his ass off this damn deck." Yasir squinted at Aldis who's walking away.
"Why the fuck you so down for her stayin'? Huh, Dalvin?" Tionne asked Dalvin and pushed his head, as they both walked away.
I exhaled then held my head. "You too nice sometimes." Donald shook his head at me. "She's clearly not a friend of yours or anybody. Dalvin messy as hell too for bringin' Tionne when he knew Megan would be here." Donald shook his head once again.
"I get that all the time." I sighed again. "My head is POUNDING," I said shaking a little
"Don't even worry 'bout that bitch nie'!" My uncle said stepping away.
"Do her like you did me when we started back talking. Be mean as hell!" Donald laughed.
"Again, I'm sorry about that. My guard was up." I chuckled.
"I know. Enjoy your vacation because when you get back to work..." Donald raised his eyebrows.
"It's going to kick my behind." I chuckled then walked back up the steps.
"Exactly!" Donald laughed.
"I'm sorry for cursing in front of you, unc." I apologized. "I was upset and that was disrespectful of me."
"I been cussin' since I was nine. You grown as hell and can do whatever the fuck you want. Shit." My uncle laughed. "You ain't gotta apologize for shit."
"But still," I said to him.
"Girl, gon' 'bout ye day!" He shouted.
"Unc a trip," Donald whispered to me.
"Mmhm," I mumbled.
"Wassup!" We heard K-Ci's voice. When we turned around he was still pretty far away.
"This nigga is always loud," Donald said to me in a low voice.
"That makes a lot of them." I rolled my eyes. "And lots of headaches now that I think about it."
"Haaah, you funny as hell," Donald whispered back.
"Did you hear me? Mothafuckin' K-Ci has arrived!" K-Ci yelled wanting attention.
I heard a smacking noise then turned around to see Jojo smacking the back of K-Ci's neck. He STILL has those neck braids. "Nigga, who the fuck cares! Ain't NOBODY comin' to see you, Otis!" Jojo walked ahead of K-Ci.
"Now that I think about it, this nigga is the Otis of the group," Donald said aloud while laughing.
"Hell yeah, he is!" Jojo cracked as he stepped on the yacht. "Wassup, De!" Jojo and Donald shook up.
"Sup, Jojo," Donald replied shaking him up then bumping wrapping their free arm around each other and pulled away.
"Hello, Jo." I hugged him.
"Wassup, T." JoJo returned my energy. "What's wrong with you?" He asked.
"Chile, they makin' my head hurt already and we ain't even start it yet." I sighed.
"THAT and her probably getting seasick," Donald added.
"What happened?" Jojo asked as K-Ci was still shouting and wanting attention on him.
Donald gave JoJo a look. "A bunch of drama. Dalvin brought Tionne when Megan is on here. Then Megan brought some nigga that disrespected Tia when they were in school. Megan knew and still tried to bring him on board."
"It seems to me that Megan is messy as hell." Jojo shook his head.
"I mean..." Donald trailer off then looked at me.
"So, it IS true?" I said referring to Dalvin and Megan.
"I ain't mean for you to hear that but that shit is true so if you do see some shit pop off you'll know why. Two women on one boat who fuckin' the same guy and one know about the other being in a relationship." Donald whispered.
"Oh my goodness." I shook my head. "It's going to be some mess on this little trip."
"You ain't lying but Dalvin messy too for doing this shit. He ain't even have to tell Tionne. He don't tell her a lot of shit and now is when he decides to." Jojo exasperated.
"Imma have to talk to his ass," Donald said irritated. "I'm tryna have fun and he pulling this bullshit."
"Wait a minute, y'all trying to talk to Dalvin's backside?" I raised my eyebrows.
"You know what the hell I'm talking about." Donald chuckled at my question.
"Ahhh." I laughed. "On a real note. Y'all Should've nipped that mess in a bud before y'all picked her up. I feel bad too because I'm supposed to be cool with Tionne but now I know this."
"Don't because she knows Dalvin is a serial cheater." Jojo patted my shoulder.
"I just don't wanna come off as fake to someone who's has been nothing but nice to me," I said to them.
"So I'm being ignored now?" K-Ci said walking up the steps.
"Hell yeah, NIGGA! Shit! Who the fuck cares? You bleed red just like the rest of us, nigga. Don't get that shit twisted. Shit." My uncle said to K-Ci. "I'm here too, nigga! The fuck! Go on 'bout yo business! Shit."
If you haven't noticed SHIT is my uncle's favorite curse word. He says it at the end of MOST of his statements. I told you my uncle doesn't care who you are, he'll call you out on your nonsense.
"The difference between me and you is that I can sing," K-Ci responded.
"Nigga, I can sing too. I don't get paid for it but I do too. Shit." I don't even have to say who that is, the end of the sentence revealed who it is.
"Ooooo, yeah!" K-Ci sang as a challenge I guess.
"Oooo, yeah!" My uncle sang even louder than K-Ci WITH a cigarette in his mouth.
"Oh, wow!" Donald said impressed with my uncle.
"Oooooooo, yeah!" K-Ci held the not longer this time.
"Oooooooo, YEAH!" My uncle went even louder.
"Unc got some vocals. He's out-singing K-Ci." Donald told me with a surprised but impressed look on his face.
"Nigga, I may not be get paid for singing but I'm still a star where I'm from." My uncle pointed at K-Ci with his cigarette.
"You sung in church?" Jojo asked my uncle.
"Hell, nahh! I sang for everything except for church." My uncle laughed. "Nigga, just because you sing don't make you special. I sing too and I'm special but that don't make you special." Huh? 🥴
K-Ci, Jojo, Dalvin, and Donald know my uncle from my graduation party that my parents threw for me on graduation day. My uncle was complaining about there being no liquor available because he loves to drink and a few of them agreed with him.
"Tell him unc! He ain't special!" Donald shook up my uncle.
"For real!" JoJo agreed with them. "Imma catch you later, imma go get me a room." Jojo dapped De up again then walked off with his luggage.
"Alright," Donald replied then turned back around.
"You look good in braids." I complimented.
"That's like a backhanded compliment. Talking 'bout I look good in braids as if I don't look good all the time."
"Boy..." I leaned on one leg. "I didn't say you ain't look good other times. I'm saying you look BEST in braids. I mean, they show your true head size, but you STILL look good."
Donald let out a deep chuckle. "Thanks. I know."
~Dalvin's P.O.V~
"Why the fuck you so down for her stayin'?" Tionne asked me and pushed my head, as we both walked away.
"I was just sayin'. She graduated too." I shrugged. "Ain't this a graduation celebration?" I looked at Tionne.
"That still doesn't answer my fuckin' question, Dalvin!" Tionne rested her hand on her hip.
"If you're implying that I'm sleeping with her. I promise you that I'm not." I sighed.
"You better not be because if I find out I'm beating her ass!" Tionne said then walked off.
See, that's what I like about Tionne. She doesn't really come after me much when I'm the one in the wrong but instead she fights the girl. It feeds my ego to see women fighting over me. It's also a bit of a turn-on. After we settled in our room, we went back to the front of the boat.
"We're about to start moving in five minutes. Is everyone that supposed to be here, here yet?" The captain asked.
"Pac not comin'," K-Ci announced. "At least that's what he told me."
"Well, then I guess this is all of us." Tia shrugged.
"Okay, then." The other captain who's a man went to the stairs, grabbed them, then I saw a head reflecting the sun at a distance.
"Pac?" I called out.
"Yeah, I'm here!" Pac called out in a rush.
"I guess he lied to you, K-Ci," De said looking at K-Ci.
"Nahh, I changed my mind. I need to get away from all the bullshit for a while." Pac said stepping up onto the yacht.
"And he steppin' into a different type of bull," Tia mumbled to De. They are both next to me.
"You ain't lying because it's gon' be some sheeeit," JoJo mumbled to her.
"Is that it?" One of the captains asked us.
"Yes ma'am, that's it," Tia replied.
"Okay, then." The captain grabbed the stairs again. "That's set so, hello everyone!" He yelled out with a jolly expression. Hi's, hello's, and hey we're being said at different times from everyone. "This is my wife of twenty-eight years and we own this boat. We're your captains of this boat and welcome!" He said excitedly. "I'm Casper."
"I'm Venus. Hello." Venus introduced.
They told us where everything was located, the rules, and whatnot. After that, they went on about their business.
"A black woman and a white man." Pac shook his head in disappointment. "A perfect fetish."
"Is that a problem?" Tia asked him. "Everyone who's in interracial relationships isn't being fetishized. They've been married for almost thirty years and a marriage can't last that long based on a fetish."
"EXACTLY. You sayin' this like you ain't date Madonna's BBC chasing ass." Elijah butted in.
"BBC is a myth." Thamar rolled her eyes.
"Aye!" Most of us dudes shouted except Elijah.
"Hol' up! What gives you the right to say that?" Algee asked her.
"Me being with men!" Thamar replied.
"Right, unless you've been with other men, y'all can't say what's true and what's not true," Elijah added.
"Yeah, I've seen some tiny ones in my years." Megan agreed.
"Yeah and I'm pretty sure you hoe ass seen a lot! Shit!" Tia's uncle said laughing.
I frowned at her because what the fuck? She's agreeing with this nonsense. "Man, y'all trippin'!" I waved them off.
"I'm going to have to agree. I've seen some Asian, Hispanic white, etc. Men of different races and they were bigger than many black men." Lizzo agreed with the bullshit they spitting.
"Everything probably looks tiny to yo fat ass. That's probably the reason you look the way you look now. You THOUGHT your meals was too small." K-Ci shot at her.
"Hol' the hell up! I'm gettin' tired of yo ass K-Ci! You over here messing with people when they didn't attack you at all." De sounded irritated. "You don't talk to no woman like that."
"She attacked my manhood!" K-Ci frowned. "Why are you taking up for this hamburger-eating bitch!?"
"As if you don't eat hamburgers," JoJo rolled his eyes at K-Ci.
"Did she attack you personally?" De asked K-Ci.
"I feel like she did!" K-Ci put his hand on his chest.
"If y'all ain't did shit then she wasn't talking to you specifically," De told him.
"A hit dog will holler," Tia added.
"Amen!" Elijah, Thamar, Chika, Jasmine, and Courtney slapped their hands together.
"Y'all wack as hell." Pac shook his head at their nonsense.
"Don't even worry about him, girl." Tia spike to Lizzo.
"I ain't worried about no scrawny lil nigga." Lizzo rolled her eyes.
"Y'all keep saying we're wack but unless you've been with a man or around another man with a man who's on hard and naked, y'all shouldn't be sayin' shit. If not then you can't speak for everybody. Unless some of y'all gay or bi?" Elijah crossed his arms.
"I ain't even been in that position!" I raised my hands up in defense.
"Hell nahh!" Pac shouted.
"It was an itsy bitsy teeny weeny, little black thingy-"
"That we saw for the first time today!" The other joined in on Courtney's little song.
"Y'all piss me off." K-Ci walked away to a different spot.
"Well, the lil nigga has a point! Shit!" Unc told us. "You can only speak for y'all self unless y'all been with men. I mean, y'all ARE some Hollywood niggas."
"As a dude that works in Hollywood, I can assure you that that is just a stereotype because I ain't EVER in my life been with another nigga." De announced.
"Hell, nah! I ain't either." I spoke after he finished.
"Hell yeah. We don't do that." Jojo laughed.
"So y'all prefer one stereotype over another?" Jasmine asked us.
"We prefer the ones that don't hurt us." I replied.
"And the BBC one don't hurt us?" Some dude asked me.
"Who the hell are you?" I frowned.
"Darius. I'm a friend of Elijah's." He introduced.
"Oh, and no! That shit don't hurt us. You a black man so you should understand." I frowned.
"I do, and that shit does hurt us. That's why we're being fetishized by women like Madonna." Darius told me.
I stood back and looked at him. "Why is that a problem?" I asked.
"Dalvin, you're just an idiot." De laughed patting my shoulder.
"How? Explain this to me." I told him.
"Honestly, I'm done with this conversation because it's a stupid one in the first place." Tionne rolled her eyes at me.
"See, listen to your girl, Dalvin." De walked away laughing.
"You probably ain't that big but just know how to work it," Megan said to me eyeing Tionne.
It was like she was trying to send her a message with her eyes. THIS IS BAD! She's telling me that I ain't bug enough in so many words. Alright! I gave her a blank stare. Tionne snapped her fingers in my face.
"Hello!" Tionne yelled at me now standing in front of me snapping her fingers, blocking my view of Megan.
"I'm sorry. Huh?" I asked confused.
Tionne scoffed then walked away from me. Well, there goes that. I made her mad. How? I walked over to De who was just staring out into the water.
"You need a girl." I patted him on his shoulder.
"You need to mind your damn business," De said looking away from the water then at me.
"It's true. I understand you're hurt about the last situation you were in with ol' girl. I do. El was a fake ass friend that you thought was a true friend and allowed him close to you. You got real ass friends who wouldn't do the fucked up shit he did. You can't keep waiting around." I told him.
What am I talking about? Remember when I found De for the second time unconscious? He was dating that one girl who was a functioning drug addict. Well, while De was out of town with us on your, she and Elgin aka Tornado, who is now known as Ginuwine was sleeping with her. That baby that De thought was his really wasn't and he STILL thought it was after I told his ass that while he was still hospitalized. The dates ain't add up and come find out she and Elgin were sleeping around. Then when De got back home, the dude and all his things were gone. A lot? I know and it's fucked up.
How did we find out? Ginuwine boasted about it all around Hollywood. De pulled up on Elgin at a concert to confront his ass. Elgin denied it until De showed proof. Now, Elgin is going around telling people that De threatened him with a gun and that's why he apologized in the first place and he also is saying that he isn't sorry. I was there and De didn't have a gun on him, Elgin was just being the scary nigga he is. De just wanted to know the truth and he got the truth. The truth hurts, especially when you help the person that stabbed you in your back get on their feet. At least he can go on KNOWING he wasn't the father and who it really was and no longer wondering.
"It takes time to find the right girl," De replied. "I don't want to just jump into shit like I used to. Every single girl I dated did me wrong."
"It does take time BUT you WILL find her," I told him reassuringly.
"Why is it that you got a good one that you just can't seem to do right, while I on the other hand treat them right just to get treated like shit. I know my lifestyle and career are demanding and I acted out sometimes but damn!" De slightly raised his voice in anger. "I ain't ever did shit to that girl. I ain't deserve that shit." He shook his head. "I tried industry girls as well as women with everyday careers AND treated them right. It's like, what now?"
"It ain't got shit to do with their careers. You were in a bad place and your good judgment was blocked. You did date different women though and treated them right. Well, except you were a little disrespectful to that one dumb girl." I laughed.
"I didn't really like her. I wouldn't even consider that a relationship. It was more like we benefitted from each other in different ways." He laughed.
"Right, but she seemed to think otherwise." I raised my eyebrows.
"It was convenient. Why you think I ain't introduce her to our parents? I made sure her dumb ass was nowhere in sight when they were around." De chuckled.
I looked up then back at De. "I feel you but I told ma about her and with my description of her, and she wasn't interested in meeting her anyways. We all knew it wasn't going to last."
"I knew it wasn't either. She was good in bed though." De whispered.
"Probably the ONLY thing she was good at." I chuckled. "Wait, except looking down on people!" I added while pointing at De.
"Another thing. I can't be with anybody who thinks they are better than other people because they don't have money and you do. She was BORN with a silver spoon and ain't have to work for shit. When people don't have shit else to do but shop all day and every day they will most likely be clingy as hell. Annoying the hell out of whoever they're around all the damn time." De said then looked back out at the water.
"I can't stand that shit, either" I said then looked out into the water.
Dolphins and shit was jumping out of the water and back in again. A beautiful sight to see. De and I got quiet for a while.
"Another thing I wanted to talk about was Megan." I felt De's eyes on me.
"Quiet." I looked around but saw Tionne was far away from where we're standing. "What about her?" I asked him. "And talk lower."
"You know Megan would be here and you bought Tionne along too. What kinda shit is that? You're basically asking for drama." De frowned at me.
"I don't know about you but I actually enjoy two women fighting over me." I smiled.
"You're an idiot. That shit can backfire on you and you could get your ass beat."
"By a woman?" I laughed at his theory.
"Women. It happens all the time. One minute the women are arguing then next thing you know you're found dead in the water." De raised his right eyebrow.
