~Tia's P.O.V~

I was now in a cab on my way to Spike Lee's office. I'm so excited to be doing this. I I'll probably be there for a while since it's a whole script. I brought a contract with me, because I hear about people taking full credit for other people work. Especially people who are young, dumb and innocent ones. This girl right here is far from dumb. That is not about to happen to me Spike Lee or not. I made it to the headquarters in NYC.
(Ik it's actually located in Brooklyn but for the sake of the story it's NYC)

"Hello, I'm Tia Andrews and have a meeting with Mr. Lee." I told the front desk clerk.

"Hello, Ms. Andrews. You can just go straight down that hallway, right there. I'll just inform him that you're on your way up," she pointed then picked up the phone to inform him. I thanked her and headed in the direction. I knocked on the door.

"Come in." I heard. I opened the door with my gloved covered hand, and walked in. It was a nicely decorated room with a two chairs in on the other side. Denzel Washington was sitting in one of the chairs. Hold on, DENZEL!? HE'S ACTUALLY HERE! I didn't know he'd be here TODAY!

"Hello."

"Hello, you can take a seat. How're you doing?" Spike Lee gestured with his hands. I took a seat in front of him, and on the side of Denzel Washington. I shook Spike Lee's hand and then Denzel Washingtons hands.

"I'm fine, and you all?" I asked looking at them both.

"I'm great," Denzel Washington said to me.

"Good." Spike Lee answered back.

I sat my briefcase, and pulled the contract as well as the 'Malcolm X' script out. I had an original for me and a copy for Spike Lee. I sat the contract on his desk, slid it to him, and sat the script on my lap.

"First things first, this is the contract that I want you to sign. My lawyer and I created this document, so it will be able to hold up in ANY court of law." I put it on top of his desk ad slid it to him.

"I'm impressed. You're a smart woman." He said after briefly reading over it.

"Thank you," I replied.

The contract stated that he will not take full credit of my writing, and if her were not to like the script to not take any ideas from this script. It states a few other things as well. My lawyer has a safe copy of the original script, and will be getting one of this contract. He finished reading over it, signed it and slid it back over to me. I looked to check and see if it was his ACTUAL name signed, and it was. I picked the script up from my lap and handed it to him.

"Now, before you read it. I want you to know that I've got permission from his wife to create this film. I also interviewed her on some things that weren't so clear to me through the book."

"Again, I'm impressed. How did you manage to do so?" Spike Lee asked me.

"She was at an Atlanta College doing a speech. I met up with her afterwards and the rest is history." I replied, not feeling like going into too much detail.

Spike Lee and Denzel loved the script. Spike Lee agreed to do the film, and Denzel Washington agreed to star in the film. We will be holding auditions on the fifth of this month. This meeting was over. So, I packed my papers back inside of my briefcase.

"Thank you, it's nice meeting you," I said to Denzel Washington shaking his hand and then Spike Lee's.

"Same with you."

"It's nice doing business with you all." I said getting up putting me coat and other winter gear on.

"My pleasure." Spike Lee replied and opened the door for me.

"Have a nice day." He said.

"You too." I said and left.

When I made it outside I automatically felt that the temperature had dropped. It was colder than it was earlier. I hailed a cab down until it stopped. I gave the driver the address and he drove.

"Hey, aren't you the young lady who did the movie 'The Five Heartbeats'?" The older cab driver asked me.

"Yes, sir. That's me." I replied.

"That's a nice film! My wife and I love it." He exclaimed.

"Thank you, that is good to hear. I'm happy you and your wife love it," I responded.

He was telling me stories about New York, from back in the day. He had a story almost every corner we passed. It something about hearing older people tell stories that gives me a sense of joy. I really loved it. After a while we pulled up to the studio address that DeVanté was currently in.

I payed the older man, "Thank you, sir. I enjoyed your stories."

"I enjoyed telling them. Have a nice day." He said as I got out.

"You too," I shut the car door, walked inside of the building and walked to the front desk.

"Hello, I'm Tia, and I'm here for DeVanté Swing. " I spoke to the front desk clerk. She looked down at a list.

"He's in studio 4C. That's the fourth floor. Can you sign right here?" She pulled out a blank sheet of paper.

"What for?" I looked at it, then at her.

"Can I have your autograph? I recognize you. I love your work." She said.

"Oh, okay. I don't mind." I said signing the piece of paper.

"Thank you!" She happy said.

"You're welcome." I said then headed to the stairs.

Yes, I'd really rather walk than to be inside an elevator. I finally made it up all those stairs. I'm slightly tired, only because I haven't been exercising as much as I used to. I opened the door with my gloved hand, and walked down the main hallway.

"So, you been in New York for almost two days and didn't tell me." I heard from behind me. I knew that voice from anywhere. I turned around.

"Bullet-Head!" I yelled running to him full speed in my white high heeled winter boots, to hug him. I dropped my briefcase, and jumped up at him. My arms around his neck and my feet flew back behind me.

"Wassup, babygirl." Tupac said laughing, and hugging back.

"What's up with you?" I asked him getting down and him gripping my waist to help me.

"Better than ever." He replied.

"That's good to hear!" I replied.

"Yop. Look at you in your all white. You look dope!" He said eyeing my outfit from head to toe.

"Thanks, so do you!" He sported a grey snapback turned to the back, a grey jersey, some dark grey jeans, and some timbs.

"Again, wassup with you? How you doing?" He asked, I just shrugged.

"I just completed the deal with Spike Lee before I got here." I said happily.

"No, ion mean work related. Babygirl, I mean how are YOU doing?"

"Well, I--" I was cut off.

"Tia! How long have you been here?" I turned around to see DeVanté coming out one of the studio rooms.

"Probably about eight minutes." I said to looking at Tupac's rolex, then up at DeVanté.

"Oh. Wassup Pac?" DeVanté walked over to him and they dapped up.

"Wassup," Tupac said and then they did a friendly side shoulder bump.

"You ready to go Tia?" He said after they pulled back.

"Yeah, just about." I replied to him.

"Tia, what hotel are you staying at? I wanna hang." Tupac asked me.

"I'm not staying at a hotel, I'm staying at Dalvin and Dona- DeVanté's house."

"Oh?" Tupac raised his thick brows.

"Mmhm," I said nodding my head.

"So y'all tight like that now?" Tupac asked looking at us both.

"We're cool."

"We cool." DeVanté said at the same time as me.

"Okay then." Tupac looked at us suspiciously. "Well, could I pick you up tomorrow?" He asked.

"Of course, I haven't seen you in a minute." I smiled at him and hugged him again. "I'll call you later though. Okay?"

"A'ight, imma fuck which you later." Tupac waved us off and went into a studio room.

"Where are the rest of them?" I asked DeVanté bending down to retrieve my suitcase, and standing back up.

"Who?" He asked clearly confused.

"Dalvin, JoJo and..." I clearly know his name. Petty? I know. I'm still mad at him for calling me a bitch. He knew I heard, and I know he knew I heard because Dalvin mentioned it, and didn't apologize.

"K-Ci... Shit, hell if I know." DeVanté quickly shrugged his shoulders. "Let's go." He grabbed my hand, and led me to the elevator.

"No..."

"What's wrong?" He asked.

~DeVanté's P.O.V~

"K-Ci... Shit, hell if I know." DeVanté quickly shrugged his shoulders. "Let's go."I grabbed Tia's hand, and led her to the elevator.

"No..." She whispered.

"What's wrong?" I said turning to her.

"Let's take the stairs instead." She stated.

"Why? The elevator is faster, and much less work. C'mon." I pulled Tia onto the elevator while she frowned.

I pressed the button for the first floor. When the elevator started Tia looked up at the ceiling of the elevator. We were still holding hands and I felt her grip tighten, she was squeezing my hand hard as hell.

"You scared of the elevator or something?"

"Mm," she said which really wasn't an answer. When the elevator was about to stopped she gripped my hand even harder than before.

"Ahhh, ssss. You ARE scared." I dropped her hand and shook mines trying to relieve the pain some.

"I'm SO sorry. I didn't mean to." She quickly apologized.

"You're fine," I said still shaking my hand.

The elevator opened and we both exited. The front desk clerk waved at us and we waved back at her and headed to my car. I unlocked it with the button opened the door for her to get in. After she was safely inside I closed the door and got in the car on the other side myself.

I had two men following us in a car behind us, they were the security I hired. Tia seemed to forget who we are when she suggested we go to the grocery store. I mean we'll be fine I'm sure with some shades and a scarf. Plus the security I hired we're fine. Unless a fan come too close. I parked in the grocery store nearest to the crib, which was still a bit far. I handed her one of the pair I brought with us. I pulled mines put and wrapped a scarf around my neck and face.

"You forgot who we are. But I know you probably just want to do regular people shit, like you used to." I said turning her way. "Don't call me DeVanté in the store, people may catch on. Call me... Deon. And your name is your middle name Nakia. Got me?" I smiled at the name I gave myself, and what she said I looked like before.

"I got you, now lets get to going." She smiled and hopped out fast almost busting her ass. I cackled but stifled it quickly by covering my mouth. She quickly grabbed the handle that was inside of my car near the headrest.

"You are the human form of Bambi." I cackled.

"Shut up!" She said slightly raising her voice, embarrassed. Still holding on. I got out the car and went over to her side and almost bust my ass too, now it was her turn to laugh.

"That's NOT funny..." I trailed off looking at her. It was very slippery on the ground on her side of the car.

"Yes, it is. You didn't think so when I almost fell." She smiled.

"Touché." I said holding on to the door. "Come on," I grabbed her free hand. "I got you."

"How? You don't even got yourself. We in the same boat. Except I have on heels..." She realized. My timberlands had a better grip than her heeled boot thingys.

"Yeah, now bring your ass on." I laughed at her. I slowly let go of the car door, as she gripped my wrist, and let go of the handle inside the car. I closed the door as she held on tighter.

"You go first I still got you," I loosened her grip on my wrist, and grabbed her waist for better support. She stepped ahead carefully.

"You got it, keep going." I encouraged, and she did.

She made it to the part of the parking lot where there was just a bit of snow. It was only a few steps away. I followed suit. I noticed the plain clothes security guards were near. We entered the store together and grabbed a buggy. She pulled a list out.

"Hold on, you made a list?"

"A duhhh, DeV-Deon." Tia said quickly correcting herself.

"How'd you forget that fast?" I quietly chuckled. I wanted less attention as possible on us.

"I'm just not used to it." She said leading me to the produce section. She grabbed already sliced pineapples.

"Why don't you just get the real deal?" I asked.

"Because the enzymes burn my mouth and tongue. My body is very sensitive to many things." She said grabbing it and placing the sliced fruit in the buggy. Sensitive body? That's nice to know. That's something I'm taking a note of, for future references. I just smiled looking up at her.

"What are you smiling so hard?" Tia looked at me then around. Probably thinking it was about something around us.

"Just taking notes..." I smiled.

"Oh yeah? On what?" She asked pushing the buggy forward.

"You," I cheesed.

"Me? What for?"

"For future references," I replied.

"Y'all eat sea food?" She meant Dalvin and I.

"Yeah, we do."

We continued to grocery shop for another hour or so without a problem. Until Tia tapped me, trying to get my attention. "You see those men right there?" She threw her head their way to avoid pointing.

"Mmhm." I mumbled looking in the direction she nodded.

"They've been following us since we got here, at first I thought I was being paranoid but I'm not."

"I know, that's because I hired them to." I turned back to her.

"Why didn't you tell me? Got me over here paranoid as crap! You know I stay strapped." She harshly whispered.

"What? You strapped?" I was surprised. And, she said she stays strapped? I'm shocked.

"Yeah," she harshly whispered back tapping her hip.

WOW! I knew I felt something on her hip. I thought it was a cellphone, like she thought mines was. Even though mine was something completely different. Anyways, hers was a gun!? That's sexy. Imagine her busting inside the bedroom yelling 'You're under arrest!' with some lingerie. I never did roleplay she could be my first.

We scanned all of the items and I payed for it. We made it back to the car. Tia had to get in through the drivers seat door, because of what happened earlier. She got in the car and warmed it, while I stored the groceries in the trunk. After I finished I pushed the buggy with the rest of the buggies. I jumped into front seat and drove off.

We made it back home. I stored all the groceries inside the folded cart I had in the trunk and we headed upstairs THIS TIME through the elevator.

Tia entered the apartment first, but turned back around facing me. "We should go get ice cream..." She attempted to push me out.

"It's too cold to be leaving and eating ice cream in the car. C'mon." Immediately after walking in a smell hit me, it smelled of... of... Sex? I also heard muffled moaning. What the hell is going on in here!? Tia gave me a knowing look.

I looked back at her, "Let's put the groceries up." We headed to the kitchen.

Tia folded her arms, "That noise doesn't bother you?"

"Nope," I shrugged and continued putting up the groceries, and she helped. I already knew it was Dalvin and Tionne getting it in. I would leave but she and I both have been gone technically the whole day. I'm kind of tired and I need a man nap.

Author's Note: This chapter kind of sucked. In my defense I am sleepy with a headache writing this more sleepy than I was with the other chapters. 😬 Please forgive me for this chapter.
