Chapter Two
James Johnson couldn't believe what he had gotten himself into? Why the hell did he even befriend the geek of Derry High knowing very well, how different they were. If they hadn't been friends he wouldn't be in this situation. He could've said no, he did say no, he shut Robert down but with or without him the nerd had gone ahead with the insane plan, to look for IT.
What was IT? Was IT a monster? A ghost? An illusion? Or was IT anything and everything at once? And why was it called IT anyway?
He and Yamileth stood outside the old rundown house of horror, where Robert said IT lives. Milo had informed Yamileth that Robert went ahead with the plan to find IT even thought Milo begged him not to go on his own. Yamileth showed up at James house minutes ago and dragged him to the last place he wanted to be.
Robert didn't approach Yamileth nor did he inform her about his insane plan because after their little talk at the library and the tragedy that befell the girl at this very house, he wanted to leave her out of it.
"Are we really doing this?" The blue haired boy asked squeezing the hand of his friend tighter.
"Yes we are," the girl responded pushing the door in, it made a very creepy creaking sound.
The house looked older and messier than they could remember. Or maybe, it was always this way. They'd been here only once at the night of Halloween and it had been a night party, so they didn't pay much attention to their surroundings.
A missing flyer on the floor caught the eye of the teenager, she picked it up and gulped.
"What?" James asked confused.
"It says I'm...I'm missing."
James snatched the flyer from her, "you're not missing."
Missing Yamileth Anderson. Age 17. Cappuccino hair.
Last seen at the old abandoned well house wearing a grey hoodie.

The missing poster was of Yamileth with her face, her name, her age and what she was wearing.
"This is not real!" James gasped, "this is a prank!" The boy yelled, "where the fuck are you Robert? Come out!"
"Calm down," the girl said wearily.
"This is not funny Robert!" The boy yelled louder.
They heard a scream from upstairs. It was Robert. The teenagers exchanged a quick glance than ran up the stairs calling his name. Robert was screaming and banging the door at the end of the hallway with all his might.
The teenagers tried to open it but in vain, they tried kicking and hitting it with objects but it remained closed. Robert's screamed behind the locked door. Then the boy stopped screaming and kicking and the door slowly opened by itself. They saw him unconscious on the wooden floor surrounded by hundreds of clown figures of all shapes and sizes.
Yamileth and James were taken aback by the sight of the creepy figures, who in their sane mind would own these much of clown figures? But they ignored them and tended to their unconscious friend, shaking and slapping him lightly on his cheeks. After what felt like a lifetime, Robert slowly opened his dark blue eyes.
"Thank goodness," Yamileth gave a sigh of relief as she hugged him.
James said, "you scared the shit out of us."
They helped the boy to his feet and as they turned to leave, instead of a door. They saw three doors behind them with markings on red ink: not scary at all, scary, very scary.
"What the hell?" Yamileth said.
"This isn't funny anymore Rob," James turned to the boy besides him.
"I swear! It's not me."
"We found the missing flyer of Yami, you jerk!" James accused Robert.
"What missing flyer?" Robert blinked confused.
"We're going to talk about this as soon as we get out of this dumb," James said turning the knob of the door that read—not scary at all.
But to their horror a headless girl stood behind the door. The three teenagers screamed and closed the door behind.
"What the fuck was that?" James pushed Robert.
"I don't know," the boy panted.
"Stop! Fucking lying!" James screamed.
"I'm not, this isn't me," Robert stammered.
"Guys please," Yamileth stepped between them.
At that very moment the clown figures inside the room started to laugh one after the other. The teenagers screamed in horror as Robert twisted the door knob that read scary and to their surprise it lead to the hallway. Without another word they raced down the hallway, bolting down the staircase and in an instant they were out of the wretched house, gasping for air as the warm summer sun hit their faces.
"Fuck! Not even a million dollars can lure me back in," James said pointing at the dark house behind them.
Robert sat down on the dirty ground and spluttered. "Guys, I saw him...I saw IT."
Yamileth and James looked down on their friend, who had a terrified expression on his face but before Robert could speak a red balloon floated out from the attic windows towards the three teenagers, the three figures watched the balloon frozen.
The red balloon popped as soon as it reached Yamileth. Then everything went dark.
