A voice of a teacher disrupted Ananis's sleep: "ANANIS ANTONIO! WILL YOU PLEASE PAY ATTENTION?

Ananis: (groaned as his head rises off his folded arms) sorry.

*Ananis scratched his eyes from his sleep*

*Dagat appeared in front of the board, as if she is talking with the teacher*

*Dagat flicked her hair as she smiled, revealing perfectly pearly white teeth.*

*A hyperbolic image of his heart being stopped.*

Ananis: Slow down, I have to get to know more about her. I didn't remember her name but her face stood out from the rest of the crowd. (her close up face talking to the teacher)

Paul's voice: ANANIS LOOK OUT! (Ananis is standing like an npc in the middle of the field. Note: he is wearing a football uniform)

*Ananis's eyes bulged*

*Cuts to a shot of him getting hit by a football at the face*

*Cuts to him lying on a cot while his arm being cured by a nurse* Ananis: Ugh! OW!

Nurse Jackie: How does it feel? (Looks at him concerned while damping a cotton ball on his scar as she holds her arm)

Ananis: I just hate this at the first day of school (a dead tired expression wears his face with a ghost trying to escape from his nostrils)

Ananis: *Sighed* (Dead look of his eyes)

Nurse Jackie: Well, that's life for you kiddo- (A shot of him lying down on a cot side ways as the nurse sat on a small chair while curing his arm)

Ananis: Stop calling me a kid! (A shot of his jimmy neutron head with a comedic angry expression as he looked sideways to Nurse Jackie)

Ananis: I'm a grown up. (pouts)

Nurse Jackie: Being 17 doesn't mean that you're a grown up. You still have that baby face since freshman haha (A shot of Ananis's cheeks squished by the nurse's hand)

Ananis: OW! (he squinted)

(He hisses at the nurse who puts him a band aid. Aerial shot, chest level, of him looking at the nurse who is putting a bandaid on his arm)

Nurse Jackie: Would you mind me taking off your hat? (She puts down her arm as she has a conversation with him. *The nurse cannot be seen but we see a slanted view of him being lying on a cot while the nurse's hands are holding on his arm*)

Ananis: NO! (The nurse is taking off her gloves, Ananis said this off screen)

Nurse Jackie: Why? (A shot of her hand. Her thumb and index finger are holding the gloves)

Ananis: It's...personal actually, I had a conversation with my guidance counselor. (An image of him sitting on the cot sideways as he looked down on the floor)

Nurse Jackie: Okay, I will have a conversation with her so that I can check your head. (The nurse stands up as her head looks at a sitting Ananis)

Nurse: (Turning back away from the sitting Ananis *back view*) Give me a second to reach the phone.

*The nurse opens the door *back view**

Ananis: (Looking tired sitting on a cot)

Ananis: ow, my ears.... (Holding his ears as he squinted)

Nurse Jackie: I'm back. (the nurse said this off screen as Ananis looked at someone coming from the door)

Ananis: Can I ask you a question? (Aerial view as Ananis looks at the nurse)

Nurse: Yes, what is it? (She sits down beside him)

Panel: (of them sitting together on a cot)

Ananis: You look like the transferee girl that I just saw in class.

Nurse: A girl...who...looks...like...me?

Ananis: Yes. (Side view)

*There is a long silence of them sitting together*

Nurse: Anyway, me and Ms. Uzi talked and it is best for you to take off your hat. I heard that you were saying that your ears hurt- (her face looking at Ananis (he is off screen))

Nurse: Nuh uh! That's what she said. (Raises her index finger up closing her eyes like a Ms. Know it all)

Uncle Sunny: Thank you for taking my son. (The uncle puts his hand on Ananis's shoulder and the nurse has a conversation with them. Front view)

Nurse: No worries, before you go, I have a word with him. (Ananis looking at the nurse. Front view but his eyes are focused on the side)

Nurse: *Whispers to Ananis's ear* You better take a picture of that girl you told me and bring it to me by tomorrow after class.

Ananis: Alright.

AUTHOR'S NOTES:

I divide the remake versions into 4 different chapters (which are based on the draft version of Chapter 1), mainly because they are too long to fit into one chapter. Feel free to comment on the concepts that I just made ^^

🍓CHAPTER 1 REMAKE!!

This is the first chapter. (Year: 1999) (Ananis was 10 years old) (Kat was 30 years old)

▶️Terrestrial Government meeting

Meeting of the Sovereign

The sovereign meets with the other leaders of the world government, which all of them require to sign a contract. Except for the daughter of the old president dictator of Oroboa, (also known as the future president of Oroboa) named Kat Espiritu.

Kat Espiritu has the ability to read the minds of other people so she tried convincing them to think about it and re-decide, due to an unreasonable doubt yet the majority is already decided.

Kat Espiritu is the only one who didn't vote, so the world government made her resign as a representative, but she can still run for the government mainly because it is the judiciary's job whether they will remove the president or not.

Therefore, everyone trashed the front of the headline and compared her and her father.

Kat Espiritu called a taxi cab and this sent her to the hotel.

Kat Espiritu pondered with frustration, thinking why no one believed in her, even though she can read minds.

Throughout her childhood, she is bullied, and there is a friend who believedbin her but ends up not forgiving her mistakes and due in fact, her father killed her own father. Despite being a drunk he loved her, but in the eyes of Kat, her father is abusive and punishes her "as an act of love". "YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT MY FATHER"

"FINE! YOU ARE SO SELFISH ABOUT YOUR SUFFERING BUT YOU NEVER GET MY PROBLEMS."

She is bullied in highschool, loathed by her professors. She grew up being independent even though her only family, her father and her brother are her only friends.

Her father apologized to everything he did during his reign at his deathbed, believing that he is the one who is at fault for putting his own daughter in danger.

Her father gave her a pendant. When she was about to wear it, he warned her not to wear it, because she will contact an entity of genocides, the reason why he is so much tied with the judicial killings. He asked her to find a way to destroy it once and for all.

Her father choked himself to death, due to his physical pain.

Upon arriving back in Oroboa, she looked for every temple, just to find a way on how to destroy the pendant. She disguised herself to avoid being discriminated against.

She met one who is familiar with the pendant, which was worn by the dictator president himself. Rumor has been told, the pendant came from the descendant of the War Sovereign.

Note: the pendant came from the shattered pieces of a key

▶️Ananis's backstory

Ananis and his sister are playing tag until they hear gunshots, and bombs. A strange burning smell from the distance welcomed their nostrils. This awakens their curiosity, giving them the sense that the path of the smoke must have been opened from the house.

They ran to the house, until they found out that in their father's arms, it was nothing but the clothes of their mother.

With his bleeding wounds, he used her remains as something to cover his scars on his neck.

Tragedy happened in the family, and as another alarm rang, another bomb was about to fall on the roof of their house so they fled from the house, throwing themselves off from the birth of the inferno.

Ananis looked back at the inferno, reminding them of the ashes of her own mother.

They ran into the city, ran away from government authorities who were after them.

Insert the original story from Prologue. However, in the remake, this will be automatically chapter 1.

Fortunately, they woke up in the house of Uncle Sunny, offering him hot chocolate.

Ananis couldn't stop crying because of the nightmare he had experienced.

In the next scene, Ananis, his sister and Uncle Sunny, build a grave of their parents in the garden.

Ananis felt so much bitter.

His rebellious spirit grew into his heart.

He disrespected his teachers, bullied the class president, most especially because he hates authority.

Yet Uncle Sunny, who acts like a drunk uncle, encourages his rebellious nature (except for bullying a girl), because Uncle Sunny is a screwed up theist.

This made them express their anger over protests, and introduced the culture of hatred.

If you don't get it, imagine Uncle Sunny as Eda Clawthorne from the Owl House and Grunkle Stan from Gravity Falls, except he is an activist.

Matthew has traits of Borderline Personality Disorder and Bipolar Disorder.

▶️Meanwhile:

Matthew, Ananis's father, went to a temple and slept there from all of the hiding. As he woke up, in a Goldilocks style, he ate everything that was left inside the temple except for the offerings. He changed his clothes into a traditional kimono.

Until he met Reine who appeared from the shadows.

They have some tea together with lit up floating candles.

They started talking about the plan about terrorizing the property of the Libertian government.

Matthew has knowledge with arsenic weapons, so he gladfully shares it to Reine.

This shows the projects that they are working on, so Reine started drafting bombs in his sketches.

Reine started making a deal with gangs from Estrella, rebels of Libertia and Estrella against the trafficking and cartels.

▶️Reine's motives:

Reine will be the villain of this story, however when I first wrote him, his earlier concept is much tied to a sympathetic villain.

He is inspired by Makima from Chainsawman, Cartman from South Park, and Flowey from Undertale.

Except he is aro-ace, which means he can't do sexual assault, sexual acts or romantic acts.

He is a four tailed fox who was born in the early 1900s. He is also a star and even though he is old, for his age, he is considered to be 18 years old because stars age slowly (much likely inspired by elf age). He wanted to convert people into obedient zombies who can overthrow the government, to defeat his nemesis, Duchess Rena, leader of the UFC (United Federation of the Celts which is based on UK, Scotland, Ireland, and whoever is descended from the real life Anglo Saxons from many centuries ago).

His goal is to free Inanis, Estrella and other minority races to become the superior race over those who discriminate against them back in history, and most importantly, unite all clans of Oroboa except their rule is based on Japanese WW2 imperialism, Russian Cold War communism and German WW2 nazism.

Inanis is his home nebula which was destroyed by joined Galactic forces and the Terrestrial government.

🍓CHAPTER 2 REMAKE!!▶️Dagat Backstory:

In Dagats aka Melissa's backstory, we can also write a story of how she met the kid with cancer who had a crush on her before he died.

Dagat is a character who has a lot of expectations piled on her.

Dagat is more of the opposite. She has supportive adoptive siblings, Julio and Briella, but her parents are pretty much unsupportive because they decide her to be involved in politics just like them due to their daughter who is supposed to be in the throne but went missing. This created a feud between her parents and her siblings. This ends up convincing Danau, which he realizes he must've been very harsh to Dagat's unknown decisions, yet his wife insisted on the plan.

Dagat is very undecided on what her dream would be.

Every night, Julio, Briella and Dagat trained each other as preparation on going for a new life outside Oroboa.

Since they live in the south, this is unfortunate for them because to have a shortcut, they have to cross the border between two oceans: Eye of Oroboa, and West Coast.

Shockingly, Danau found out that they are about to leave, yet instead of contrasting them, he revealed that Oroboa is much of a dangerous place to live in (we can see the divide of political powers at the first panel of Dagat's story, and the prophecy of the sinking of the island due to the cursed eye that was buried millions of years ago which creates a chain of unfortunate disastrous events).

Danau has his reason for his kids to flee (Briella and Julio are in college so in the year 2006 story, they are considered to be working employees), mainly he really never wanted the idea of using Dagat as a political leader in the future.

Briella, Julio and Dagat were guided by the private authorities without revealing their departure to the public.

Instead, Danau created fake kids and to pretend that nothing happened. He never told his wife the truth.

After the three vanished away from Oroboa, Dagat goes by the name of Mellisa, Briella goes by Ella and Julio goes by John. They just made a fake certificate, fake date and information and fake passport all thanks to Danau's magic.

▶️Dian:

As a contrast to her character, Dian is very content with her life, never has a boyfriend but she still has a close to being perfect. Dian is always there for her but her flaw is being a people pleaser and never tries to open her true feelings to anybody around her. All of the heavy work that triggers Dagat, is always done by Dian.

Dian is the one who introduces the scene to Dagat. Dian and Dagat both came from Oroboa, but Dian used to live in the thriving economic and technological influence in the Central Oroboa which she considers herself as a nerd.

Dian is basically autistic/neurodivergent coded because of her interests.

The only problem is that none of the kids understand her social cues, her only friends are her parents and her dog. Her parents are also different from other parents because they don't use their kids for grades which is common for Asian parents where they pile their kids with expectations. That is the reason why everyone is jealous of Dian, and since she is very different from them, due to the culture of conformity, they constantly bully her, and manipulate her into different things such as getting a grade.

This creates a school feud between Dian's parents and the other parents, just because of the manipulation of helping a classmate cheat. The school never did any chance to solve the situation, such as dismissing Dian's neurodivergent traits and this forces Dian by her own teachers to get the expectations they want to see from her.

Dian is considered to be a gifted kid, but she is pressured by everything around her. Dian's father also works as an OFW, and he wishes for his family to bring them to Libertia.

On arriving in Libertia, Mr. Jones gave a dog to her as a present.

Her life is so much different from what she had in Central Oroboa in a positive way compared to Dagat. Dian came from a middle class, while Dagat was born from an upper class.

Death of parents

Dian ignores the negativity around her despite struggling from her fosterhood trauma, death of her parents and her dog.

She is fostered to a family of Central Oroboans who own a buffet restaurant who never see her as a person, but someone to use for profit. Dian, as an exchange, works for them so that she has money to finally move into Dagat's house once she turns 18.

Dian had her first Libertian schooling with Dagat at the start of 7th grade.

🍓CHAPTER 3 REMAKE!!▶️How did Melissa and Dian met

Setting: This was when they were in middle school, before Melissa transferred out of state and went back to senior.

Unlike Dian who have a good life in Libertia, she experiences peer pressure and sexual harassment from the guys in her school. However, she is very supportive of her parents compared to Dian who lives in a strict foster environment.

People can only be friends with her IF she took the school hierarchy too seriously. Dian, who looks like a mean girl, defends her from being mocked by others over a thesis group project, and tells the teacher to be her groupmate instead.

This Dian forms a girl's night with other friends like Kate in their house to work on the thesis. They call it the Nerdy Fems only Sleepover, so they started playing video games together which references the video games back in the early 2000s.

Unlike the "not other girls trope" where the MC changes due to peer pressure, Dian's friend group encourages her to try on different styles.

Dian is a hybrid of a gyaru and scene style, Kate is an emo, the rest are a mix breed of Y2k and nerd outfits such as pokemon inspired onesies. She gave her a fitting hair dye which gives her a variety of cool colors to choose. The shade of blue reminds herself of the sea, given off by her name, this made Dian and her friends go night shopping to look for outfits with fish and sea like designs.

Fortunately it was Black Friday so they had chances to dodge the crazy things during that time such as throwing random stuff etc...

Soon, the girls started applying for a job.

🍓CHAPTER 4 REMAKE!!▶️Paul's backstory

There is a reason why he is weird.

He is the only dude who doesn't want to work for companies so he is more of your stereotypical weeb, discord moderator and redditor.

He is your typical kid who goes through nostalgia.

Browsing anime sites until you find something inappropriate.

That is why he is scared of big boobs because he was traumatized when he was younger.

This made him get reported in the principal's office for the accident that he made.

Therefore, everyone started labeling him as a pervert, where most of the girls get away from him, except Dian who knew the entire story since she eavesdropped at the door of the guidance counselor.

Similar to Dian, he is dismissed by others because of his nerd interests.

This also made his dad concerned, so he doesn't want to see some inappropriate things on the internet. At the same time, his grandfather told him that looking at the physical body of a woman is unnecessary for romantic attraction. It is the compatibility itself.

Almost no one wanted to be friends with him, except he looked up to Ananis as his idol despite him being a few weeks younger than him.

Throughout his life, he is disciplined with morals and spiritual beliefs. The reason why he would rather pick someone who is flat chested is because it also represents purity from a girl, from his thoughts. (Which is kind of sexist, but sexism in religion is honestly a flaw).

🍓CHAPTER 5 REMAKE!!

This will be based on the original story of Chapter 1 except we will remake it.

▶️Birthdays

Paul celebrated his 17th birthday in the church

Ananis celebrated his 17th birthday near his parents' graves.

Dagat and Dian celebrated their birthday together (since they have the same birthday date)

The four enter their senior high school as the last boss fight of high school. (insert video game effects). Not together, but they enter high school differently.

Dagat and Dian get promoted in their job as lead baristas.

Just another day of working in the coffee shop with a birthday celebration.

Paul can finally drive a truck. (Not the actual truck, a pick up truck)

KEEP CHAPTER 1 STORY AND WE WILL JUST ADD IT.

▶️Fall of 2006

Let's just fix some transition issues.

Reine is disguised as a transferred student named Theo

Theo is said to be the brightest student and has a knowledge in Liberation history.

Some people despise him because he is a nerd, but even the bullies themselves are scared to terrorize him. Other nerds like Kate and the rest of the scene teens (except for Dian and Melissa) develop a crush on him.

When Kate is about to confess his feelings, he rejects him because he is not interested in girls.

Ananis asks if he is gay.

Reine also has no interest in guys either.

Some people laugh at him because he only wants to be single.

Mocking behind his back.

Despite all of the mocking, he remained stoic and focused on his plan on turning everyone into zombies.
