Lillian dressed Zane up in a cute Christmas outfit Meredith got him. It was a cute white and red strip shirt with red pants and a little reindeer on his butt. It was to cute and she loved it on him. He didn’t even bother with her gushing since his head was turned to the TV with the cold cool toy he was sucking on.

    She got up from the bed after tucking Zane in between to pillows, but he didn’t move very much since he was mostly focus on sucking on the chew toy and watching tv. She thought of Ryan, remembering on his off days he’s very lazy. She went over to the mirror, checking herself out in the mirror. she just had a nice navy sweater dress with some grey leggings and dark brown boots. Her hair which was getting long again was curled thanks to Meredith. She looked pretty, she just didn’t very much feel pretty.

    She put her earrings in when Ryan came in with a towel wrapped around his waist. She turned around and smiled, “How do I look?”.

    He took one quick look at her before going over to the closet, “Nice.”.

    Nice?, she thought, making a face when she was hoping more then ‘nice’. And he barley even looked at her. She pressed her lips together for a moment, “Your mom did my hair very nice, don’t you think?”.

    “Yeah.”, he said as he got changed into some pants and a Hollister shirt. He came over next to the mirror to brush the little hair he has back and she waited to some more. A kiss maybe? She hated expecting so much, but she hated it.

    “You look really handsome. You don’t even try.”, she complemented.

    “Thanks.”, he said and she face quickly turned annoyed. She pictured themselves as anime and if they were characters, she would grow much large then him and nag at him for being a jerk and have him beg for forgiveness.
    “Hey Ryan,”.

    “Hmm?”.

    “I’m going to cut my hair like Miley Cyrus.”

    “Oh, that great—wait! What!”, he said in surprised as he looked at her shockingly.

    “Nice to have your attention now.”, she said, glaring at him. She twirled around again, "How do I look?".

    "Beautiful.", he said.

    "Thanks for noticing.", she sarcastically said before turning to go over to the bed, but Ryan wrapped an arm around her waist and stopped her, pulling her back to his chest.

    "I didn't mean to make you mad, Lil,", he said and kissed the side of her head. "Lets have a good holiday together, it would be our first one together.".

    She sighed and turned around in his arm, "I don't want to fight either, but Ryan, it's like you barley notice me anymore. I know I'm sounding crazy and deperate for attention, but I can't help it. And I feel like sometime you just agree with me cause you don't feel like fighting.".

    "Isn't that the best thing to do? Aint I suppose to agree or I'll be in trouble?", he asked sarcastically and she glared at him and he quickly shut up. "Okay, I'll give you a lot more attention. We'll be that couple who can't keep their hands off each other.".

    Lillian chuckled, feeling a little better, "No, we don't have to be that. Maybe just half of that, but enough to show that you love me.".

    "I can do that.", he said, pecking a kiss on her nose.

    "Great.", she said, getting out of his hold. "Now you should see how adoribly cute your son looks.", she said as she walked over to the bed and picked Zane up and showed him the adorible outfit. "Isn't he just the cutest thing in the world?", she asked, fixing his shirt.

    Ryan chuckled and walked over to them, taking him and turning him over to see the reindeer on his butt, "Oh course my mom would take one glance at this outfit and by it without hesitation.".

    "And apparently, she got Max one that looks just like it, but instead of red, it's green and white.", she said. "Two matching cousin thanks to their grandma.", she said, smiling down to Zane who just stared at her with those beautiful grey eyes.

    "Remember, all wet ingredient are to be mix first before putting them in the dry ingredients. Greese the pans and put it in the oven for twenty five minutes.", Meredith told Lillian who was going to bake a homemade cake. Lillian was nervous--so nervous. She wishes she could take back all those times she pestered her mother about making homemade stuff when she could bake to save her life.

    Lillian nodded, "Got it.".

    She grabbed a bowl and cracked three eggs. She put water, butter, and a little vanilla all together. She looked at the mixture in the bowl, seeing it looked okay. She grabbed the dry ingredient she already mixed together. Not remember Meredith told her to slowly put the powder in, she just dumped the whole thing. She turned the electric mixer on and powder flew everything near by!

    She gasped, panicing and turned off the mixer. She looked down at her dress and her mouth dropped when she saw powder on her dress!

    "What happened?", Meredith asked, coming back into the kitchen and saw some powder on the counter and on Lillian. She brought a hand on up to her mouth and shook her head, "I said slowly pour it in, dear.".

    "Sorry.", she said. She thought, I can't even make a simple basic cake! What's going to happen when Zane's birthday come? I don't want to get him those bakery cheap cakes at Giant, I would want to make him a homemade one! If I can't even make a cake, what good am I? Her eyes watered up and she tried to blink them back.

    "Oh don't cry over split milk.", Meredith said, walking over to her and Lillian felt embarrassed. "Go clean your dress and I'll fix everything. You'll just have to keep an eye on then.".

    "Thanks.", Lillian said before leaving the kitchen to go upstairs to the bathroom to clean off the flour.

    After keeping an eye on the vanilla circle cake--and by that, she check every five minutes--and put it in the freezer for twenty minutes after cutting the top off to make a flat surface, she smeared dyed red icing over to the cake and manage not to mess it up. After spreading the icing, she grabbed a tube that had white icing and put white dots around the top of the cake.

    After she was done, she set it down and smiled, "Perfect.".

    Meredith came up next to her and smiled, "Not bad, Lillian. Look amazing.".

    Lillian and Ryan helped Zane tear off the wrapping paper, one of the gifts they got for him. It was a new playing gym for him that had more toys and stuff to make nosies.

    "Ohh! Look Zane!", Meredith said. "Mommy and daddy got you a new gym to use!".

    Zane didn't seem to focus on the gym, but more of the wrapping paper they had tried to get out of his reach because he kept stuffing in his mouth.

    A next gift came from Meredith and Chris. Again, Lillian and Ryan helped tear off the wrapping paper and saw it was one of those bouncy swings since the other swing was just for him to sit it, but he was getting to big for that now. This one he could bounce and have lot of fun in. Zane stared at the box and smacked at the box, giving an excited look.

    Lillian giggled, seeing the excitement on her son face.

    After opening Ryan's two brothers gift--small things they could always use, it was time to Lillian and Ryan to give each other their gifts.

    "Okay, just for a warning, it's used, but it's also in great condition.", he said, handing over a small box.

    Lillian was curious to what he could have gotten her. She had a smile on her face as she took the wrap off and opened the regular black box, seeing a iPhone 4 in their. Her mouth dropped in excitment, so badly wanting to scream out cause she has been wanting this phone for such a long time since hers is three years old and is in terrible condition. She couldn't believe he actually got her it! She doesn't care if it was used already, she had one!

    She hugged Ryan tightly, "Thank you so much!", she said, kissing his cheek.

    She then picked her gift up, telling herself, God, his gift is so much better then mine.

    She slowly gave it to him and he noticed her nervousness, chuckling. He unwrapped the box and his eyes widen.

    "I-I know you love music and I thought I could get you something to use that'll last more then those cheap five dollars ones from the Dollar store.", she explain.

    "Lil, these headphone could cost up to around sevenity dollars.", he said.

    She shrugged, "I did some babystitting with Tamara and shared the moneys. Thank God for black friday. I know you said you wanted good equality headphones that wont work after two weeks.".

    He chuckled, "They're great, thank you.", he said, kissing her cheek.
