Chapter Twenty-Two.
Lillian shook her head stubbornly at Ryan, "No Ryan! I'm not going out there like this.", she said.
"Come on, everyone going to know your pregnant!", he chuckled. "Being fuller and pregnant are two completely different thing."
"My thighs got bigger!", she said, frowning.
"No they didn't. Your just being insecure right now.", he said.
"I still can't though. Someone may laugh.", she said. "I'm eight months and I look like I'm about to give birth. Oh god, what if my water breaks? I wont know it!".
Ryan chuckled, "No it wont. Now come on, people like seeing pregnant girls in bikinis at pools. You have been complaining about always being hot and the pool will cool you off. Now come on, I'm going to give you a perfect day."
"But someone going to laugh at me!"
"No one will, I promise. Now, I can carry you out but I think that'll be more embarrassing.", he said and she glared him. She wrapped her towel around her better and pouted as they walked out of where they pay to get in.
She groaned as they walked inside the gates and there was a lot of people around. Lillian couldn't help feel insecure when pretty skinny girls would walk pass and check Ryan out. They probably think she's his pregnant sister.
When they got to spot that didn't have much people, Ryan laid the blanket down and held his out for the towel. She frowned and hesitated but gave him the towel. Lillian crossed her arms over her chest and rubbed her arm, looking around and if anyone was looking at her as if she's crazy to come here pregnant this big or disgusted.
But no, most of them didn't even pay attention to her which made her feel a little better. She placed her hand under her growing belly as Ryan helped her to sit down so she could fall down on her butt.
"See, no one died.", he said and she glared at him.
"I'm really emotional right now, Ryan.", she said. "My hormones are off the rock together and not the way before. I think I'm getting crazy.".
"Which is why I just agree with you now.", he said. "There's the boys--hey, don't.", he said, grabbing the blanket from her large baby bump. "You should comfortable, not feeling bad about yourself. Your beautiful, Lil. Love that bump."
"Not like the skinny tan girls here.", she said.
"You mean fake tans? I could smell spray on tan a mile away since Jeanette always got them.", he said. "You've gotten tan.".
"I'm not bronze tan.", she said. "Soon my stretch marks will be more noticed, I hate being pregnant." she pouted and tears filled up in her eyes as his friends got closer as Ryan wrapped an arm around her. She wasn't sure if she actually hated being pregnant or it was because she felt sweaty and uncomfortable
"Hey, Ryan, their having a sale on their ice cream and--whoa, who made the pregnant girl cry?", Dillon asked.
"She's not enjoying being pregnant right now.", Ryan said. "Guys, tell her she looks beautiful.".
Lillian looked up at them as they started agreeing that pregnancies is beautiful and she shouldn't feel bad and that she looked beautiful still.
"I think you should worry more about after having the baby cause then your stomach ruin unless you work out.", Matt said and that upset Lillian. Ryan will never want to see her naked again!
Her eyes watered up and Ryan groaned, "Wrong thing to say, man!".
Matt's eyes widen realizing what he just said, "Oh Lillian, I didn't mean it like that! I just meant---well, I just didn't mean it like that."
Lillian laid back onto her back and covered her face with her towel, wanting to hide from the world.

She had her head turned around to watch at the kiddy pool, kid splashing around and having fun as moms sat on the ledge, gossiping with friends and keeping eyes on their kids. Lillian knew that would be her next year.
She thought it was real sweet to find a couple in a pool, teaching their daughter how to swim. The dad had such a proud look on his face and that brought tears to her eyes.
He use to look at me like that, she thought about her dad, who still after a week hasn't talked to her. She turned her head back around and moved her legs around, they were in the pool. She already had enough with people asking how far along she is and all the stuff people ask pregnant people.
Ryan was on a far side of the pool, having a good time with his friends. Lillian felt a little jealous since he was having a better time then she was. She didn't have anyone to come here with other then him because Cassandra was hanging out with her friends today and her mother was working. Meredith was going to a friends house. Brad who just gotten home a few days ago was to caught up with being with Ashley to even answer his phone.
And she wasn't so high on having girlfriends her own ages.
Lillian looked over and saw some girls has join them. A huge wash of jealousy rushed over her as a girl was talking with Ryan and he was smiling as he talked to her. The girl was really pretty and she made Lillian feel ugly by just looking at her.
She got up from the pool, about to go yell at him but what would that do for her? Just fight with him and embarrass herself in front of all his friends and these people.
She turned around and made her way over to the girl locker room, fighting to hold back the tears. When she was in the locker room, she went over to the showers and turned it on, sitting on the floor, and cried her heart out.
Her emotions have gotten so worse since she hit the eighth month. She has never felt so insecure about herself and she was scared Ryan was going to look at her in disgust and leave her. She never had a boyfriend and she wasn't sure how to keep one. She loved Ryan to pieces and she hopes he still does even if she looks like a pig.
But she's sure he wishes she looked like a Victoria Secret model.
After crying for about ten minutes, she pulled herself together and lift the shower stall. She whipped her face with a paper towel and let her hair down from the ponytail. Her whole face was puffy and she looked like she's been crying.
She walked out of the girls locker room and bumped into someone. "Oh, I'm sorry-Ross? Oh, hey.", she said, hugging her brother friend.
"Holy crap, he was telling the truth.", he said, looking down at Lillian stomach. "I'm going to become an uncle."
Lillian patted her stomach, "To a little boy.".
Ross was one of Brad's closest friends who she hasn't seen in such a long time since Brad was always in school. He was big like Brad and was a heart breaking--one who played on his same team. Lillian was surprised Brad would become friends with a gay guy and not because he was gay, but how many guys would want to be friends with a gay guy? They're always afraid they'll hit on them. But not Brad, he found Ross still pretty cool to hang out with and he was like Lillian big brother.
"So where's this asshole?", he asked, looking around. "I don't care if his dad is the chief, I still need to talk to him.".
She frowned, "I don't really want to see him right now.", she mumbled, her eyes to dry to cry now.
"Why? What did he do?", he asked all brotherly.
"Nothing, nothing really. Just being insecure right now.", she said, placing her hands on her belly. Lillian felt whiny to ask, "Do you think I'm beautiful still even being pregnant?".
"What?", he asked. "Of course I do, Lillian. Does he tell you, you aren't cause I'll beat the living hell out of him.
"No, he does. All the time actually.", she said. "I just...I just see all these girls and wish I was them right now.".
"Ahh, I get it.", he said, wrapping an arm around her shoulder. "Lets get an ice cream.".
"Sounds good to me.", she said.
After getting a bowl of chocolate ice cream, they went over to a table and sat down under a umbrella and Lillian was happy to get away from the sun at the moment.
"I saw him talking to a girl.", she finally said. "I got so jealous and cried in the locker room.".
"Do you know what they were talking about?", he asked.
She shrugged, "No, I don't. But I hated seeing him around another girl. I hate being pregnant, it make you feel like your crazy. Be happy your a guy.".
He chuckled, "I'm sure he wasn't doing anything wrong, Lil. Just talking.".
She glared at him, "Don't take his side, your suppose to be on mine.".
He just chuckled more, "Come on, Lil, I know how guys are. He was probably just talking about the weather or something. Wait--how long have you been in the bathroom?".
"About almost fifteen minutes total.", she said, confused.
"And he hasn't come to find you?", he asked and Lillian realized he was right. That asshole hasn't! She looked around the pool area for Ryan, but she didn't see him or his friends.
Where'd he go?, she questioned herself. Her hands balled up into a fist and she got up from the table, "I'm leaving.".
"I'll take you home.", Ross said, getting up.
"No.", she said. "I would need the walk to think, my feet hasn't started to swollen up yet, so I'll be fine. But thank you, Ross, for the ice cream." she said before hugging him goodbye and walked over to where their stuff was. "Jerk didn't even bother to take them.", she said as she folded up the blanket and grabbed her bag, throwing on a shirt and shorts she brought over her bikini.
She then put her towel in the bag and placed it over her shoulder. She grabbed the blanket and left the pool. She held the blanket against her chest and her arms around it as she walked, pouting, ready to make it back to Ryan's house to lay down. He's sleeping on the coach tonight. And tomorrow, she call her dad tomorrow and beg for forgive and let her come back.
I'm such an idiot, she thought.
Six minutes into walking, she saw a familiar black car driving up towards her. She lowered her head, a angry look on her face. It was Ryan's car. With his friends in it.
Uh, must have felt a little guilty about leaving me and made me start to walk back, she bitterly thought.
The car suddenly stopped next to her and Ryan jumped out of the car, "There you are!", he said loudly, walking over to her. "Jesus Christ, Lil you scared me half to death! We couldn't find you and why haven't you been picking your phone up!?".
"I left my phone back at the house, remember!", she yelled at him.
"Well where were you!?", he said, concern in his voice.
She scuffed, "Like you care.", she snapped. She didn't mean to sound mean and bitchy, but she couldn't help it. She was angry, pissed, and hurt! It was her hormones talking.
"What are you talking about?", he asked. "Of course I care, Lillian! Something could've have happen to you!".
"Walking home isn't dangerous.", she said. "Now if you excuse me, being on my feet is starting to hurt.", she said, beginning to walk around Ryan.
"Don't be crazy, get in the car.", he said.
She paused and turned around, "I don't need your help, Ryan. Go back to flirting with skinny miss thing back at the pool, I'm sure you'll have way more fun with her then spending your time with me bitching at you.".
He looked at her in complete shock from being caught talking to her and the way she was talking. "Oh come on, Lillian!", he said. "I was just talking to her, there isn't any need to be jealous! I can talk to other girls just as friends."
She turned around and began walking again, "Tomorrow I'm going home, sorry for having you waste your time painting your room and-"
"Lillian, stop it!", he said, gently grabbing her arm and faced her. Tears began to burn her eyes and she was fighting again to stop from coming out. "Lil, I'm sorry. I was just talking to her though, nothing else. I'm sorry if you thought it was something elsebut I made sure to let her know I had a girlfriend and son on his way."
Her button lip tremble as tears began to slid down her face, "She's way much prettier then me."
"I don't care about who's prettier.", he said. "You're prettier anyways."
"Your just saying what I want to hear.", she said, shrugging. "What guy wants to give everything cause of a mistake from a one night stand?"
"Lillian come on, don't say that!", he said. "I love you, you made me fall in love with you. I was out here when I couldn't find you, looking for you. I called everybody and their worried about you. I thought someone could have kidnapped you or something."
"What would someone want with a pregnant girl?", she questioned.
He groaned, "No time for sarcasm, Lil.", he said. "Look, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you feel lonely or jealous.", he said, taking the blanket form her hands and the bag. He took her arm and pulled her towards him and his arms went around her, hugging her.
She brought her hands up to her face, crying. She felt like an idiot now and she felt crazy and stress. She was embarrassed and only wanted to crawl into bed. "I'm sorry.", she said when she forced herself to stop crying and look up at him. "I just... I don't know. I was jealous and thought you would want her be to around then me. You can't do much with a pregnant girl anyways."
"It's okay.", he said, pushing her hair back behind her ears. "Just don't scare me again. Where were you anyways?"
Her cheeks blushed hard, "I-I was in the locker room in the showers. I must haven't heard you if you called for me. Sorry.", she said again.
"It's alright.", he said. "I did promise you a perfect day. We should get home."
She was wondering what he was planning next but she didn't ask as he took her hand and they walked over to the car. She crawled into the back with Dillon and Matt and they asked her if she was okay. She nodded and said yes.
When they pulled up to Ryan's house, she was confused to why he hasn't dropped his friends off at his own house. When she opened the door, Dillon took her hand, "Put this on.", he said, giving her a bandana.
She looked at him confused, then looked at Ryan, and back to Dillon, "Why?", she asked.
"No questions, just put it on.", he said.
"But-"
"Put it on, Lil.", Ryan said and she looked at him again before hesitantly taking the already folded bandana and covered her eyes with it and tied it.
"Okay, well you tell me what's going on?", she asked as she got out the car.
"Just walk.", Dillon said as they helped her to Ryan house and up the stairs.
She heard them open the door and she was starting to question if they were okay in the head. Why'd they have her been blinded up?
"Okay, take it off.", Ryan said from behind her, his arms sliding around her waist as she untied the bandana from around her and unblended her eyes.
"Surprise!", lot of people she knew said and she lots of blue stuff and gifts.
