"What?!"

Napatakip ako ng mga tainga ko when we heard that shout of Kaid. It's so loud that a table might even move like there's an earthquake! "Can you please lower your voice, Kaid?" I asked him, starting to remove that's covering my ears.

"Just what?! Anong tatanggapin ni Dariantha ang project, e, tinanggihan na niya iyon?! At anong si Ackley ang magiging leading man niya?! I am his love team! Ako dapat 'yon at hindi si Ackley!" he exclaimed, looking furious. 

"Oh, please, can you calm down first, Kaiden?" Allairy told him.

"Paano ako ka-kalma pagakatapos kong marinig ang sinabi mo?!" It's like a monster was controlling him right now. As in, sobrang galit talaga siya!

And we don't have an idea why. If it's because I accepted it o kung dahil ba si Ackley ang magiging leading man ko instead of him. Uh, here comes his monster side that you don't wanna mess up again.

"Just calm down first . We will explain it pagkatapos mong kumalma," my manager said again. And that time, kumalma na rin finally si Kaid. Bumalik ulit 'yung side niyang we often see, and his monster side faded.

"Go on. Paki-explain sa akin, please, kasi hindi ko talaga maintindihan." My manager signed me to just close my mouth at siya na lang ang mage-explain, so I obeyed her

"Yesterday, Ackley and Dariantha talked. Ackley told Dariantha that he wants her to be his leading woman, and the latter told me about it. I'm telling you, Kaiden, pinag-isipan naming mabuti ang tungkol doon before we took actions. At hindi na namin mababawi 'yon if ever because we already signed a contract. I hope you understand, Kaiden."

"Hindi ko kailanman maiintindihan 'yan, Allairy." His tone was still angry, but thank God, he's being calm now.

Allairy was about to talk again nang pigilan ko siya. "Kaid," I called him, so tumingin siya sa akin. "I know that you're kinda felt betrayed right now kasi hindi muna namin sinabi sa'yo. I-dagdag mo pa that you won't be my leading man for this. But I'm just doing this to try myself to act without you as my company. Puwede ka ring tumanggap ng ibang projects withput me, and I will truly understand it."

He looked at me before he sighed. "Fine. Basta 'wag kang magaglit if may sasabihin ako sa'yo right now, ha? At saka, 'wag ka na ring magalit sa manager mo." He then smiled.

Kumunot naman ang noo ko. "What are you talking about, Kaid? Anong 'wag magalit sa'yo at kay Allairy?"

"Triny lang naman kita kung anong magiging reaction mo kapag nag-burst out ako ng ganoon. Yup, alam ko na that tinanggap mo ulit ang project dahil sinabi sa'yo ni Ackley. And guess what? Ang manager mo lang naman ang nagsabi sa akin. He consulted me kung payag ako, at alam kong hindi kita puwedeng kontrolin, kaya sinabi kong bahala kayo sa buhay niyo."

Napatingin ako kay Allairy and she smiled, not a genuine one, though. "Sorry if I didn't say it to you, Dariantha. Naki-sakay lang naamn ako sa trip ni Kaiden because he told me so. I'm really sorry, I hope you understand it, and I do hope that you understand na medyo may kalawang na ang utak ng love team mo."

Nagulat ako because of it. No, not because of what they just said. It's because of the last sentence na sinabi ni Allairy. Hindi siya nagsasalita ng ganyan or nagbibiro ng ganyan after what happened between her and her sister. Parang nagbabalik siya to her true herself. 

The jolly, talkative, and kinda funny Allairy Relish. 

"Bakit parang hindi ka man lang nagulat, Dariantha? Wait, don't tell me..." Kaid looked at Allairy. "Sinabi mo sa kaniya, ano, Allairy? At anong kinakalawang na ang utak ko? Baka sa'yo 'yun." She winced and just ignored him. "So, ano na, Dariantha? Sinabi ba sa'yo ng manager mo?"

"Uh, nope. Sabihin na lang natin that I'm not the shocked because I really expected you to do it," I told him. Yeah, expected ko na talaga siyang gawin 'yun. Besides, he didn't just do it once, not twice, not thrice, but so many times already. Kaya ayan, medyo buking na siya.

He pouted pero nawala rin when he though of something. "Dahil hindi ako ang leading man mo at baka halos hindi na tayo magkita, kailangan nating sulitin ang araw na ito para sa ating dalawa," he grinned.

"Huh? Anong gusto mong sabihin, then?"

"Let's date again!" he happily exclaimed. "Tapos naman na ang shooting nating pareho kaya hindi na tayo magagawan ng issue na tumakas tayo para lang makipag-date. Siya nga pala, napag-usapan niyo na ba ni Direk 'yung tungkol sa issue about you na kumakalat ngayon?"

"I already fixed it." Napatingin kaming dalawa ni Kaid at Allairy. "What? You two, don't look at me like that. Earlier, while Kaiden here was asking for forgiveness, naka-usap ko na si Direk Davis. He said that he will say to the media to shut down that issue. Now, tignan niyo ang mga social medias niyo, that issue died down. There's no issue about Dariantha o kaya about sa inyong dalawa as of the moment."

"Woah, iba ka talaga maging manager. Kaya ang suwerte talaga ni Dariantha sa'yo, e." 

I smiled. Indeed, Kaid. Suwerte talaga ako that my manager is Allairy Relish.

"But I suggest that you should still be careful and always observe your surroundings. Baka mamaya, medias will make an issue about you two na naman without talking to me or to Blander. You know the media, basta may references at kahit hindi totoo, pinapa-kalat pa rin nila."

Kaid nodded. "Sige, thank you, Allairy. Bye, magde-date na kami!" He pulled me without even asking if I want to come! 

"Hey! My things were at the tent! Kunin muna natin!" Hindi niya ako pinansin and dragged me towards his car. 

"Hintayin mo ako rito." He, then went back to our tent at kinuha ang mga gamit ko. "O, ayan na." Inabot niya sa akin before he went to the direver seat.

"E, paano if I don't want to come?" I teased him bago siya magdrive.

"Sorry ka, Dariantha. Manliligaw mo lang ako pero wala kang magagawa," he smirked, and the next thing I knew, nasa tapat na kami ng mall. "O, see? Sabi ko sa'yo, wala ka nang magagawa, e."

Pinalo ko nga siya. "That was insane." He just drove than the normal driving speed. Buti nga, the polices didn't catch us because it will turn to a very big issue again for sure.

He laughed. "Ayaw mo 'nun, para tayong lumipad papunta sa langit?"

"Ayaw ko 'yun! It's scary for your information. Also, you won't go to heaven kaya mali ka. Let me rephrase it for you. 'Ayaw mo 'nun, para kang lumipad papunta sa impyerno?'" I smirked.

"Kasama kita kaya dapat dalawa tayo papunta sa impyerno," he also smirked.

"That won't happen because for sure, Kaid. Anyway, saan ba tayo pupunta?"

"Nasa mall po tayo kaya pupunta po tayo sa dagat, Ma'am" pampi-pilosopo niya. Pinandilatan ko siya ng mga mata, but he did the same. "Manliligaw mo ako pero hindi kita hahayaang asarin ako. Kasi dapat, ikaw rin, ina-asar ko."

"How about this? Look behind you." He obeyed me and I burst out laughing nang bigla siyang mapatalon because two girls were behind him.

"Kuya Kaiden, p'wede po ba magpa-picture?" said by one of them, giggling a little. Naka-costume kasi sila ng anime na medyo nakakatakot that's why Kaid got shocked.

"S-Siyempre naman." After they took pictures, Kaid faced them. "Bakit naman kayo naka-costume ng ganyan? You two shocked me."

"Ah, sorry po, Kuya Kaiden, may sinalihan po kasi kaming contest diyan sa malapit. Pagkatapos po naming manalo, napagdesisyunan po namin na mamasyal dito sa mall. At ito po, nakita po namin kayo! Hindi pa rin po talaga kami makapaniwala!" the one wearing Medusa Gorgon's costume shrieked.

"Siya nga po pala, bakit hindi po kayo naka-disguise? Sikat po kayo, kaya kailangan niyo po ng disguise kapag pupunta sa mag ganito po, 'di ba?" added by the girl who's wearing Shion Sonozaki's scary costume.

Kaya siguro sila nanalo because their costumes were very scary!

Bigla kaming napa-tingin sa likod namin when cameras stated to flash. 

"OMG! Nandito 'yung DariKaid!"

"Hala, grabe, kinikilig ako!"

"Number one fan niyo po ako! Pa-autograph po, idols!"

We were shocked nang makita naming they were so much people who's around us. If I would to pick between reporters or ganito karaming tao, I would pick reporters. Because I told you before, just like Ackley, ayoko rin ng masyadong maraming tao.

"Dariantha, alam mo ba ang nasa isip ko para maging exciting itong date natin?" Kaid whispered.

I looked at him and saw that he's grinning which made my forehead twitched. "What is it?" I whispered back.

He suddenly held my hand, and the next thing I knew was so exciting! Tumatakbo kami ngayon papalayo sa mga tao at sinimulan naman nila kaming sundan. This is my first time experiencing this, and I didn't know that this will be so exciting and funny at the same time.

We started to mislead them, and when we succeeded, we ened up laughing with each other. "Grabe, ang sarap pala sa pakiramdam 'yung ganoon."

"You're right, Kaid. Thank you," I said in between my laughs.

"Huh? Thank you? Para naman saan?"

My laughter became a smile. "Because you really made our date exciting. Hindi man natural na date ang nangyari, you really made me so happy. First time ko tumakbo from the crowd, at tama ka nga, ang sarap sa pakiramdam. Again, thank you, Kaid."
