"Uh...Hi!! I am Ian Anderson. Uh...I am a Hollywood actor..." I set on to introduce myself.

Well, there is this one thing about the introduction; it just doesn't come, when someone asks you to. Everything tends to go blank when we are generally asked about our likes, dislikes, or various other hobbies.

I waited for her to say something, maybe for her to introduce herself, as well?

But, all I received in a reply was a nod.

A nod?

That's...that's hilarious!!

I honestly, have never been ignored to this extent.

Anyways, I didn't know, how to proceed?

The night was definitely going to be long and even if she allows me to sleep, it would be hard to sleep, on the ground and also uncomfortable to sleep that early.

I wanted; no I needed her to communicate with me, so that it feels less uneasy.

It felt almost as if, she read my mind!!

"Uh...I am Adriane...Adriane Benett. I do not own this place. Actually, my car broke down, nearby, just like yours' and my phone died. So, I had no idea what to do? Until I found this house and I tried knocking, but as I knocked the.... the door creaked opened and on looking in, I found out that this house was completely empty, so I decided to spend my night here. But then, you knocked and I was very scared to open, that is all and the rest you know." She said, taking her hat out and smiled at me.

I smiled back, but not just a smile, I was filled with a lot of confusion there.

She said, her car broke down, but I remember not seeing any car nearby, so if her car did break down, where did it go? Then she stated, her worriedness to open the door, well she was scared to open the door, this is justified and correct, but shouldn't she be scared to enter a completely strange house at night? But then, she was helpless and also alone.

I think she is sober and elegant. I trust her.

"Yeah, as a matter of fact I do know the rest." I said chuckling.

"So, what is your plan? I mean did you roam about? Do you know anything about the rooms here? Or anything about how the electricity works? Do you know how are we going to sleep? I mean I ma comfortable on the floor and you..." I ranted anxiously, because if she didn't own this place, she probably didn't know anything about the place, where would we stay and how would we manage, was a rather uninteresting yet important question, because exploring this place at night, didn't sound anything better than entering a haunted house, which was definitely not pleasing to my ears.

"Calm down!! We will figure out something. If we keep spend the night talking, we might not even require the 'need' to sleep, you know?" she said

I breathed a deep sigh.

Well, she was correct in her own way. Of course, we didn't need to sleep, if we could spend the entire night talking and we might even drift away the uneasiness.

My God, she had great brains, I must say!!

"Yeah, you are right. I agree." I said still noticing unbelievably on her efforts to dress up in everything warm covering herself, from the big huge coat to the gloves. Wondering how she manages to stay so calm beneath it.

"So, tell me something about you." I demanded.

But, instead she seemed uneasy. Maybe...just maybe, she might not want to let her personal information out? I agree, it is absolutely not correct to let it out. So, I let it be.

"Uh...I..." she stammered.

"It is okay. Let us talk about something else. Forget it."

I said, easing her out, a bit?

I thought.

"Do you want some coffee?" she insisted and I couldn't be more grateful, to her. I immediately ended up nodding my head, vigorously.

She chuckled and moved to an inlet that seemed like a kitchen.

I decided to stay in the living room; I wonder how will she manage to brew coffee for us?

But that question wasn't even relevant in my situation, because mystery had suddenly become a part of my life, from the time I had left the studio, to the current time; I had not encountered anything but simple mystery!!
