Sasha
The purple dragon was sitting atop a nest. Inside the nest, there was a single egg that was larger than her. The egg was glowing. In it, Sasha could see the outline of a woman in in flowing robe. Her hair was put up in a weird style, like two ponytails at the top of her head. She gave off a bad vibe. The woman was still, appearing to be sleeping. The dragon on top of her was not. It opened its mouth and flames poured out of it. The flames enveloped her and her vision went black.
Sasha woke up. She looked around. She was sitting in an alleyway. She had gotten to New York last night. She got up and started looking around her new city. It was beautiful. There were so many buildings. There was a crowd, perfect for hiding in. Sasha definitely liked it. Sasha wondered for half an hour. She was looking a a watch vendors cart when she heard a commotion from not far away. At first, she thought she'd been found. Then she got closer. It was a kid around her age. He was being attacked by a muscular guy with a lot of tattoos. "How dare you hitchhike a ride on my truck," muscle guy yelled angrily. The poor kid looked terrified. "I'm sorry," he squeaked. "That doesn't cut it. Now you have to pay," announced muscle guy. He was about to punch the kid again. Sasha had had enough. She marched up and yelled, "STOP!" The man laughed. He swung a punch at her but she ducked under him. She then kicked him good and hard, sending him 10 ft away. She grabbed the kid, pulled him up, and the ran. The ran into an alley way quite a distance from the fight. "Thanks," the kid said. "You're welcome," Saha replied. They were quiet for a moment. "I'm Sammy, who are you?" he asked. Sasha smiled at his kindness. "Sasha," she told him. "Um, do you happen to have a place where I could sleep tonight?" Sammy asked. Sasha felt bad. The poor kid. "Sorry, no. I'm planning on just sleeping here. You can stay with me here if you want," she offered. "Ok," he said so eagerly it made her kinda sad. He sat down in a corner and Sasha sat in the opposite corner. He seemed sweet, and it was nice to have a companion. It took her away from her problems.
Sammy
Sasha seemed nice. Sammy decided to stick with her. She probably knew the city better than he did anyway. He didn't know that she'd only gotten to the city hours before. But he thought she was resourceful. He'd saved her from the guy who attacked him after all. He looked at his companion. Sasha was sound asleep. Sammy sighed. He should get to sleep too. He'd need rest for tackling the world tomorrow. He lied his head down on a garbage bag (that smelled like Febreeze?) and fell asleep.
Yay!! I updated. Kinda short but it helps move the plot along. I'll try to update stuff more often. Byeeeee!
