"Lexi," he said as she looked at him her head tilted to the side in thought as a chuckle escaped her lips.
Shaking her head in denial she stopped any movement looking at him before her expression turned cold.
"Leave," she said in an ice cold tone as he became pale before her very eyes.
To say he was scarred was an understatement as he had never seen her like this before. Of course she could get angry and violent but this was different. He felt a shiver run down his spine due to that single word.
Walking out of her office she followed him at a distance as he walked down the stairs.
"Lyle," she said as the said individual appeared at the bottom of the staircase.
"Burn it down," she said as he nodded his head.

Heading to her room to change she took her phone informing her brother she was moving to a hotel as she entered the car. Driving down the driveway she heard the explosion as the house burnt down to the ground as their cars sped away from the house.

"I messed up big time brother," Lee said pacing up and down as he gripped his hair stopping to look at his siblings.

"You have a lot of explaining to do," he heard as he sank into a chair.

"It was all a bet. A simple bet to bed the woman. It wasn't supposed to go this way. This far. She was supposed to fall for me, not the other way round.  No one was supposed to get hurt along the way," he whispered as he covered his face with his hands.

"Brother what did you just say?" He heard looking up towards his sister who looked appalled.

"Sebastian and a couple of the guys dared me to sleep with her. We all know she rarely has relationships. They dared me to make her fall in love with me. I wasn't thinking about the consequences," he said looking at them hoping they understood him.
"Clearly," he heard as his sister looked at him in disgust.
"Start from the beginning," Lee heard his brother say as he then saw fear all over their expressions.

Firstly I pretended to be a chef but she smelled me out the minute we were alone and I knew that approach wouldn't work so I just played along. The night of the dinner party, I swear, her getting kidnapped was not part of the plan, but it worked to my advantage as I became her hero. Gaining her trust from then was easy," he said with a shrug. "I courted her. Whenever she had a problem I was there to help her like a gentleman. Sebastian made sure to be the bug he can be and destroyed her ship," he said chuckling just thinking back.

"She actually had to destroy two more of my ships for us to be even," he thought to himself.
"Please tell me my fiancé was not involved."
"No, no, no. She wasn't," he said in alarm.
Gaining her trust she opened up to me. Sebastian went a bit too far in getting a sniper but it seemed to work. By then I was closer to her. And then I slept with her," he said looking lost. "I fell for her," he whispered.

"Do you understand what you have done brother? That woman is going to run us to the ground," Lance said. "We are finished, matter of fact as good as dead," he said gripping his hair looking lost as his hands fell to his sides in a hopeless manner.

"Let me go deal with him sister," Alex stated.
Shaking her head no she removed her glasses placing them in the table along with the pen she was holding.
"Call Jin. Send a plane for him. Call the others and meet me at the golf course tomorrow. Have Sebastian invited as well," he said as her brother smirked.

The impact of the club and ball was the only thing that could be heard aside from nature itself. Several men stood back watching her as she looked at where the ball landed. Some even admiring her attire and how it seemed to be tailor made for her.

Handing the club to the caddy she turned to the men watching them all looking at her in question and admiration with a hint of lust as more arrived. Getting into the golf cart they drove to were the ball had landed as the men simply followed her car on foot. None complained about the heat.
Continuing with her game they remained silent. Some wearing knowing smirks as some stood looking like they were about to blow a fuse due to impatience. Before hitting the bike towards the hole she turned to look at the men who were present.

"Someone had the idea to toy with my emotions," she said in a clear voice before turning to lightly tap the ball as she waited for more men. Some being Sebastian and Lee's friends judging by the smirks they wore. Once the desired number was reached she finally spoke.
"Relax gentlemen," she said seeing some of them let out the breaths they had been holding. A bottle of water was handed to her as she opened the bottle drinking the liquid slowly to quench her thirst. The men before her looked parched but made no attempt of requesting for water but rather chose to wipe the sweat off their brow.
"Mr Jin. Thank you for coming," she said as the said man finally arrived looking confused.
"Now I understand your company wants to sway towards doing business with King," she said as Jin looked at her in surprise. "I know everything Jin. Don't lie to me," she said as the caddy set up another t for her.

"You see King played me for a fool. Toyed with my heart when I was vulnerable. I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this little piece of information," she said in a serious tone.
"I understand you but they won the tender," he said.
"You see here is the thing. You see those men behind you over there," she said pointing at the group with her gold club.
"Yes. They are my top clientele," he said.
"And they have chosen to drop you," she said as the men simply looked at her as no one spoke.
He looked at her as though she had gone mad.
"You can't do that," he yelled.
"Shhh," she said. "I do like a civilized conversation Jin. I do not particularly like your outside voice," she said as the man looked beyond angry. "What you say Jin? Are we in business together or what?" She asked with a devilish smile.
"We are in business," he muttered angrily.
"I didn't hear that. Please repeat yourself," she said with a deadly smirk.
"We are in business," he said more clearly for the others to hear.
"Fantastic," she said. "Gentlemen. Would any of you care to join me for a round?" Most stepped back saying no out of pride of being beaten by a girl.

Boris chuckled as he lit his cigar rolling up his sleeves.
"And you call yourselves men," he said as she tilted her head fondly at the man.
"Shall we," she said heading to the cart offering him a bottle of water.
"We shall," he chuckled as they left the others behind.

"How else may I be of service?" He said through his thick accent.
"Make sure he is invited to the party," she said in a bored tone.
"How many people?"
"I shall let you decide," she said as a smirk fired upon her lips.
"He doesn't really know who you really are does he?" He chuckled.
"They are simply children when it comes to our world," she whispered. "However I have a feeling the sister will enlighten them soon.
He let out a burley laugh as he puffed out smoke from his cigar enjoying the rest of the morning.

Boris never one to disappoint especially since the little lady had brought the love of his life into his life he obliged her request.
"Bring all the filth you have," he said hearing a laugh as he sent the date of the event.

———

"Apologize to her brother. Already Jin has dropped us. More and more of our clients are transferring their business elsewhere," he heard Lance say.
He sat starring at his glass of whiskey in thought.
"I spoke to Sebastian. He attended a meeting of hers but she did not utter a single word to him," he said looking worried. "As we speak his business has come to a stand still. None of his clients are willing to do business with him or the others who placed a bet," he stated.
"What of our other businesses?"
"Untouched," he said with a worried expression.
