"Where the hell is she!" She heard him yell as she walked down the stairs shutting the book in her hands before removing her reading glasses.
"What is the meaning of this?" She asked.
He looked at her angrily as she came to a halt midway down the staircase.
"You!" He slurred pointing towards her revealing the weapon he had in him.
"Miss Romani. Should we escort him out?" Sacha asked her as two men stepped forward.
Placing the book down with her glasses she smirked shaking her head no. This was the reaction she had been waiting for.
"Lyle," she said.
"Yes madam," the old gentleman said looking towards her.
"Tell everyone to leave the house immediately," she said as he bowed leaving the room. "Sacha," she said as the man looked at her.
"Tell your men to keep his men out of my house. Make sure no one comes into this house no matter what you hear," she said as he looked at her with worry. "Leave us," she whispered before looking at Leroy who by then was charging towards her.

"You!" He snarled angrily as she took steps back away from him. "Two ships. I lost millions because of you and now my clients don't want to work with me," he growled as his hand went around her neck as he pinned her against the wall. "Then you reject me! Me! No one refuses me!" He growled.
"Well if your siblings hadn't interfered in my business we wouldn't be here," she stated as she drove her knee up coming into contact with his stomach. "Besides I'm not the one who goes around screwing anything in a skirt. Infidelity is what I hate most thus my rejection."
"Well if you hadn't been weak and allowed him to touch you we wouldn't be here would we? I am a man with needs," He muttered stepping back as she ran down the stairs opening a drawer to pull out a gun removing the safety.

He smirked pulling out his own gun.
He froze his actions when the first shot landed between his feet.
"I wouldn't move an inch if I was you," she said in a venomous voice. "You dare bring up that event. You dare call me weak!" She said as she aimed the gun to his head.

She watched him raise his gun firing it as the bullet grazed her shoulder. Moving away she heard his footsteps as he chased after her.
Picking up a vase she aimed it at him as he ducked down avoiding it before she felt his arms around her as he took her gun throwing it away from them.
"I hate you Lee!" She yelled out as she scratched his arms drawing blood.
"Well I hate you too," he yelled releasing her turning her around to face him.
He didn't expect her to give him an uppercut making him lose his balance. Stumbling back he cursed as she ran towards the gun. Tears ran down her face as she turned to look at him firing the gun as he ducked down. Glass shattered around them as he ran towards her tackling her to the ground.
Pushing him off her with all her strength she straddled him punching his face until she saw blood before he threw her off him.

Standing up she looked down at him as he spat blood before getting up on his feet.
"It's funny how I still even love you," he spat pulling out a shard of glass from his shoulder.
"You and me both," she panted hearing yelling outside as she looked at her bruises knuckles.
Walking towards him she stood before him as he looked at her. The sound of the slap echoed in the room as the doors swung open.
"I hate you Lee," she whispered as he lifted her up making her wrap her legs around his waist as he ravished her lips.

"Sister!" Alex yelled seeing the mess in the foyer stopping in his tracks seeing the pair before him.
"What the?" He murmured as she silenced him with a raised finger as she continued to kiss Lee.
Slowly pulling apart he rested his forehead against her.
"Leave," she stated in a deadly tone as her brother took a step back.
"Brother!" Lee heard his brother yell from outside as the door shut.

"Release me," she stated as he obliged her. "Why do you always bring up that night?" She whispered.
"I don't know. I guess it's because it's the night I failed you. Every time you provoke me I feel like I can easily hurt you with that but at the same time reminding myself that I am not worthy of you," he said looking ashamed.
"And how do you think that makes me feel?" She asked.
"Love," he whispered taking a step towards her.

"You came here drunk and with a gun. What did you want to do? Kill me?" She stated.
"No. I. I would never," he said running a hand through his hair.
"Then what?" She said tilting her head to the side as he watched the blood run down her arm.
"I hate how weak you make me feel!" He yelled turning away from her. "I hate how much I love you Alexis. What you did would have resulted in me taking your life the very day I discovered my ships perished. But no. You made me love you more. There I was thinking to myself this woman will be the death of me," he said as he held his jaw rubbing it before he pulled out a tooth. "And indeed you will," he said with a chuckle.
"Cassandra?"
"Already dealt with. She will not bother you and I," He said looking away from her ashamed as he moved to sit down.
Walking towards him she tilted his face towards hers before leaning down to kiss him pulling away before he could respond.
"Very well," she said turning away from him heading to the door.
Swinging the doors open she saw her men standing on alert their guns trained at Lee's men.

A slight nod had them lowering their guns down. Lyle and her brother moved towards her but stopped in their tracks seeing Lee standing behind her.Wrapping his arm around her waist he pulled her towards his chest.
"Damn sis, you really did a number on him," Alex said shoving his hands into his pockets as he stood in front of them looking at Lee whose eye was turning purple.
Looking at her he frowned seeing the wound on her shoulder before sighing seeing it was not life threatening.
"See you tomorrow sister," he said leaning toward her cheek kissing her before a chuckle escaped his lips once he looked at Lee once again. "Just because of two small ships," he laughed walking away from them as Alexis's lips twitched into a smile.

"Shall I call the doctor madam?" Lyle asked as she nodded her head yes before pulling Lee's arms from.
"Show him to my room," she whispered as she walked away from the men.

Lee watched her walk towards the stairs.
"Let's go," he said moving towards his sibling only to stop when her heard her.
"Baby!" She simply called out beckoning him with a finger as she started to climb the stairs holding the rail.
He watched her take several steps before swaying as he cursed rushing towards her.

"Tell the doctor to make it fast," he growled.
Heading to her room she signed as she leaned against the bathroom counter.
"You owe me a vase," she muttered.
"And a few windows and wall repairs. But you made that mess if I must say," he said watching her pull off her shirt.
"I'm sorry," she said reaching for his cheek moving to caress his eye.
"We are even," he murmured as he looked at her shoulder.

Unbuckling his belt he stopped her actions looking at her.
"I need someone to scrub my back, nothing more," she whispered as he watched her remove her clothes remaining in her undergarments as she moved towards the bath tub. Returning to him she took a gauze pad and patched his shoulder before returning to the tub.
Adding bath salts she told him to turn around before removing the rest of her clothing and sinking into the water moving forward as he sank into the water behind her. She smirked as he didn't remove his briefs he pulled her towards him.
Wincing in pain she looked at her arm before his hands stopped any further movement. Her knuckles hurt as they came into contact with the water.

Closing her eyes she leaned against him with their fingers intertwined.
"You just had to be drunk," she said with a smirk.
"You mess with my brain woman," he grumbled as he moved the body scrubber over her arm watching the soap glide off her arm.
"I like the fact that I have that effect on you," she whispered before she moved to submerge her whole body under the water.
Coming up she turned to face him as he simply stared.
"You still have to scrub my back," she said turning away from him as his hands moved to scrub her back. "You actually got an erection for Cassandra. My goodness," she chuckled.
"As silly as it may sound. I actually thought it was you due to the hallucinogen she gave me," he said with a smirk as he scrubbed her back.
"Eyes closed," she whispered once he was finished bathing her. "Thank you," she whispered pecking his lips as she stepped out of the bath.

"The Doctor should be here," she said as she tied her robe.
He simply nodded his head as she left.
Once she left the room he stood stripping off his briefs before moving towards the shower for a cold one.
Blood soaked the gauze as he cooled off before leaving to find her sitting down as a doctors tended to her. Her only injury being the bullet wound. Once the elderly man saw him he chuckled seeing her handiwork.
"And you said he still loves you after you knocked a tooth out?" The doctor murmured as Lexi looked at him with a raised brow wearing a smirk.
"In his defense he was drunk. Had it been in my country he would have lost a limb," she said as she rose to her feet moving towards him.
"Will you be fine alone or do you need me. I have to attend to the disaster downstairs," she said resting her hands on his chest.
"Go love," he said before moving to take a seat.
Wincing in pain when the doctor touched his face she turned in a flash.
"Easy there doc," he said as the man apologized. Looking at each other his lips formed a smile before he sent her a wink.

Returning a while later she left the door ajar as a maid brought in a trolley of food.
Closing the door and locking it she moved towards the bed finding him fast asleep before moving to get some food as she took her book to continue reading it.
