Looking at the beams they had set up as a demarcation of her land she looked pleased seeing the progress that was being made. A few men could be seen pushing will barrows as they packed away for the night as the portable floodlights were turned off one by one.
"Zviko!" She said calling out one of the men who had accompanied them.
"Have the men informed that there shall be a night shift. I need the boundary cleared before the rains interfere," she said. "Tell them job well done," she said as the man before her smiled before bowing his head, going to his bike awaiting her instructions.
With a nod, they started their bikes and led the procession as she sat and held onto Lee.

Pouring gravy over her mashed potatoes she slowly lifted her fork sampling the food before nodding her head in approval as Mai T (Tanatswa) left then to enjoy their meal with some soft music playing.
She looked at him as he sat across the table from her.
"What's wrong is the food not to your liking?"
"I don't like this distance. Must dinner be this formal?" he said with a frown as she smiled standing up.
Once she rose to her feet he did the same before moving to where she had been seated collecting her glass of water and juice as she carried her plate to where he was seated.
Arranging her utensils she smiled at him.
"Better?" She asked as he pushed her seat in.
"Much better," he said as he opened his hand watching as she placed her hand in his as she watched him slowly caress her hand with his thumb.
"Shall we join my men in their celebrations," she asked as she sipped her juice.
"I think it would be good. Strengthens the bond of family you have with them," he said as she nodded her head in agreement.
Taking a piece of the honey glazed chicken he moved towards her lips as she opened up for him before doing what he least expected.
Taking his two fingers in her mouth she slowly cleaned off the honey with her tongue as he looked at her lips slightly parted.
"Yummy," she said as he swallowed loudly.
"I shall never look at honey and not remember this moment," he said as she chuckled whilst he popped another piece of meat into his mouth.
Finishing their meal he helped her into a jacket before putting on a sweater. Taking her hand he linked their arms holding her close to him.
"I like this side of you," she said as he looked at her in question. "The casual side," she chuckled as he a smile broke on his face.
"I like seeing you smile more love," he said.
"Well it's because you make me smile," she said as he brought her hand to his lips.
"I'm glad I'm doing something right," he said looking at her adoringly as she stole a glance at him looking away as they moved towards the celebrations.
This is what the men saw first when they reached the entrance. Greeting them with smiles he slowly released her so they could socialize.
Seeing her housekeeper with her family she smiled as her two teenage sons rushed to greet her.
"My goodness you boys keep getting bigger and bigger," she said as they laughed.
"We are not that big Miss Romani," they both chorused.
"I last saw you this tall," she said with a demonstration as they both looked behind her gaping.
"Not as tall as your boyfriend," one of them said making her turn to see her said boyfriend holding a glass of juice for her.
"Thank you," she said as he turned to the two boys to continue the conversation.
"Would you like to dance?" She heard as she laughed at something the group of people before her had said.
Taking his offered hand she smirked as a slow song started to play.
"I have a feeling you planned this," she said with a hint of a smile as he looked at her in mock surprise making her laugh.
Pulling her into his arms she sighed as he led the dance. He took his time studying her soft features. She looked much better than when she had come to him in a troubled state. Her smiling more seemed to bring her men at ease he noticed as he recognized the looks of pride and admiration when they spoke of her. Family seemed to be her number one priority which was something he admired in her.
He heard her curse as she stepped back to pull out her phone from her pocket. Apologizing she rushed out of the building to take the phone call. Following her, he stopped in his tracks seeing her posture come to a halt as she turned to look at him. Speaking to whoever was on the phone she kept her eyes on him.
"Do you know about the Jin contract?" She asked him.
"Yes. My company is bidding for that shipping contract," he said as he watched her close her eyes sighing in frustration.
"I am on my way," she said walking past him to signal for her managers.
"Gentleman must leave you. Have the boundary completed before my return please," she said moving towards the helicopter.
"I am afraid we have a problem, Lee. Your company and mine are the only companies left. I need that contract," she said.
He clenched his jaw.
"My company also needs that contract and I do not want to seem weak in front of my siblings," he said.
"I figured you would say that. Hence why I am willing to be a mature person and allow both our companies to fight for the contract, just as long as," she said looking into his eyes as she reached for his hands. "As long as it doesn't come in between this," she said as a smile formed on his lips.
"That's fine by me," he said bringing her hand to his lips.
With a sigh, she rested her head on his shoulder falling asleep because she knew once they landed she would be busy with work.

"Brother you have to come back. I need you on the ground. Jin is coming to inspect our vessels to see if they meet his required standards," Lance said over the phone.
"I cannot leave her alone," he said in frustration as he dried his hair walking towards the closet.
"You are willing to jeopardize our business over a woman. Had it been Cassandra you wouldn't be doing this," Lance spat making Lee freeze.
"The next time you compare Alexis to Cassandra be warned brother, you will be chewing your teeth if not more," he said in a dangerously low voice.
"This woman better be worth it," he heard as he sighed in frustration.
"Go to him," he heard making him turn to see her standing by the door arms crossed with a worried expression.
"No," he said drying his hair before tossing the towel aside. "I suggest you turn around if you do not want to see me naked," he said his hands moving to unfasten the towel around his waist.
Turning around she gave him the privacy he needed as she heard him apply lotion and get dressed.
"I do not want to be the reason your family or company falls apart," she whispered to herself but he frowned having heard her.
She felt him near her as the scent of cocoa-butter overwhelmed her senses.
"If I leave you I expect you to talk to me every day," he whispered as he turned her around.
She placed her palms on his chest before tilting her head to look into his eyes.
"I will call you every day," she whispered as a hint of a smile graced his lips.
"And I will do the same, morning, afternoon and evening," he whispered.
"Just don't get into any fights," she said knowing him.
"Likewise, my love," he chuckled before his expression turned serious.
Looking into her eyes he asked her the one question she was now familiar with as she gave a slight nod yes.
Cupping her face in his hands he leaned down gently kissing her forehead before stepping away from her.
"Take care of yourself, sweetheart," he whispered before allowing her to leave. This resulted in him making travel arrangements to leave as Lyle walked in to pack his bag.
"No need for that, I might be back sooner than later," he said with a smile.
"Very good Mr King," the old man said with a hint of a smile. He knew that the man loved his employer and would surely do anything for her if she asked.

"I am willing to go all out to ensure we win that contract. It will give us marine power dominating all the other shipping companies," Alexander said as he paced up and down in her office.
"We will get the contract brother. Worry not," she said looking over the documents before her adjusting her glasses.
"Is it because your boyfriend is our competitor? Will, he just give it to us?" he said stopping in front of her desk a smirk on his face.
"Mr King will run his business as usual and so will we," she said looking at him with a blank expression as he looked at her a smile breaking on his face.
"I think I am beginning to see why you love this man," he said with a smirk.
"I am not in love with the man. I simply put; trust him," she said as he looked as her shaking his head in disbelief as she bowed her head going over the papers before her.
