Pulling apart they found Lance looking at them wearing a smirk.
"Get a room," he said with a laugh.
"What's the matter, Lance?" Lexi asked as she ran her hand down Lee's cheek to his chest undoing one more button as Lee focused on her actions.
"Nothing. It's just...," he said looking at Erica who wore a smile.
"Your brother is shy," she smiled in surprise as Lee looked at his brother. Turning his head towards her with a finger she smirked. "It's simply this," She said as she took his lips kissing him as Lance looked at then jaw dropped.

"I need some fresh air," Erica said fanning herself as she left the room leaving the couple.
Pulling apart they found themselves alone in the room as she leaned her head against his with her eyes closed listening to their steady breaths.
"I'm hungry," she said breaking the silence as he smiled at her, helping her down the bar as they made their way to the dining table. A few minutes passed before his brother appeared running a hand through his hair.
"You forgot something here," Lee smirked as he removed the lipstick stain from his lips.
"So much for being shy," Lee muttered under his breath as the food was served.

—————

"The next time you have a nightmare I want you to write it down in this book," Erica said.
"I will try to do that but sometimes it's just too difficult," she said.
"Talk to him. From what I have observed he is good for you and so are you for him. You complement each other," she said with a smile.
"Thank you," she said looking towards Lee finding him already looking in her direction.
"Don't run away from him," Erica added making her frown.

She opened her mail finding one which was not work-related as a video opened once she opened the email.
"Look what I bumped into," she heard his voice as she watched the men lined up kneeling with their hands behind their heads. She recognized the men. She recognized the ship as she realized what she was watching. "Forgive me, but I need your full attention, Miss Romani," she heard as she watched one by one the men fall to their death shot after shot.

Her hand curled into a fist as she looked at the video in anger. He walked towards his helicopter before showing her the areal view of her ship as explosive after explosive went of turning her goods into ash.
Sacha heard the crash as she threw her laptop towards the wall.
"Call Alexander now," she said as he took out his phone not asking anything.
"What's going on?" Lee asked having heard the commotion.

"What the hell is going on there? Why didn't you call me?" She seethed as she reached for her bag. Sacha moves forward to start packing her bag as she moved towards the balcony shutting the door.
All Lee saw was her throwing her hands up in frustration as she yelled at whoever was on the line in another language.
"Make sure I have a full report as soon as I get there. Make sure Lyle can accommodate Mr King into the meal plan as well as two more people," he heard as she walked back into the room.
"Road trip?" He asked.
"Something like that," she said exhaustedly.
"What happened?" He asked as she told him what Sebastian had done.
"I will be joining you. I think it's time I dealt with this man," he said.
"You didn't really have a choice there sweetheart," she chuckled as he looked at her before a smile graced his lips.

He woke up to find her whimpering in her sleep as she gripped the sheets sweat covering her forehead.
Pulling the sheets off her his lips touched her shoulder as he kissed her moving up to her neck as she slowly relaxed. Fluttering her eyes open a moan escaped her lips as he moved from her neck to kiss her lips pulling her on top of him.
Pulling apart he relaxed as she lay on him.
"Where were you?" He asked.
"The night you rescued me," she whispered becoming tense.
He stroked her cheek touching her lips before making her lie on the bed.
Grabbing a bottle of oil he poured some on her back looking at the healed bruises.

"I can get someone to do that," she said as he smirked straddling her before leaning down to her ear.
"From now on I do this for you," he whispered as he unclasped her bra removing it out of his way.
His large hands worked on her muscles as she let out a moan in pleasure.
"That's feels so good," she moaned as he smirked.
"I can give you so much more as long as you don't shut me out," he said in a low voice as he saw her eyes slowly droop.
"I can't shut you out Lee," she said in a tired voice.
"Neither can I," He said redoing her bra clasp before moving to her legs ignoring his hard-on.
"I think I'm in love with you Alexis Romani," he whispered watching her as she was fast asleep.

Getting off the plane they drove straight to the dock. The South African weather was rather lovely that particular day as she required no jacket to fight off any chill.
He stood at a distance watching her talk to the men who had managed to escape.
When one of the men started to blame her for the death of his friends he stepped forward standing close to her in a manner that spoke volumes as several of them stepped back. He made sure to not touch her as she took a step towards the man.

"Where you not responsible for checking if the coms where working," she said removing her shades holding them out as Parker her assistant took them.
"I. I was," the man said with a slight stutter.
"And what did you do when the ship was attacked?" She said taking a step towards him.
"We had to escape," he said looking frightened as he took a step back.
He froze from any further attempt of moving as his back came into contact with Alexander's chest.
Turning slightly he saw the grey of his suit turning back to face the other Romani.
"Instead of fighting with your mates you abandoned them," she said looking at him in disgust. "Instead of being the man you pride yourself to be you ran away like the weakling you truly are," she spat as perspiration covered his face.

"Matter of fact," she said tilting her head to the side watching him. "You are responsible for the loss of communication between the port and my ship aren't you?" She said as the man parted his lips about to deny.

"He said he would kill my family if I did not sabotage the coms. He allowed us to escape to tell the other workers. In order to frighten them such that they resign," he blurted out.

"And did you spread the word?" She asked him as he shook his head no.
"I can't hear you?" She said looking away from him giving him her ear.
"I didn't tell anyone," he whispered.
"Now tell me why you didn't come to me to inform me of this little problem," she asked stepping closer to him such that he could not move as her brother blocked his way.
"They had my little girl already," he whispered as she turned away from him. "Besides you have been unwell," he whispered dejectedly.

"What have I said about family?" She asked no one in particular.
"We protect each other!" She heard the men chorus.
"Why is that?"
"Because we have no one else but each other!" The men said as Lee watched in admiration.

"Gentlemen!" She said as the man stopped what they were doing.
Walking towards the shipment crates She turned to Lee as he leaned towards her listening to her request.
With a half-smile, he helped her stand on one of the crates.

"My family has been tempered with gentlemen," she said shifting her weight onto one leg. "What happens when one of us is hurt brother?" She asked as Alexander smirked
"We go hunting," Alexander said as the men nodded their heads in agreement.
"Our prey goes by the simple name of Sebastian. He sent me a video of my brothers burning to ash. He laughed as he shot our brothers before burning them," she said in a voice filled with hatred.

"They have stepped into a lion's den Lexi," Alexander said taking her hand as she looked at him as he squeezed her hand showing his support.
"Those bastards will burn as our men did!" She heard one man yell.
"Their cries as they burn will be music to our ears!" Another yelled.
"Blood for blood!" Another added as the rest began to chant this very statement.

"Blood for blood," she said with a smile as Lee realized a whole new side to her. Crouching down she looked at the coms operator calling him forward with a finger.
No one heard what she whispered into the man's ear as he nodded his head vigorously. Those close by, heard him say a simple thank you.

Lee stood by watching her as she stood up straight before reaching out for him as he helped her down.
"Now I know why they worship the ground you walk on," he whispered as they walked side by side to her car.
Settling into the car she sighed in exhaustion as he looked at her allowing her to lean on his shoulder before kissing her forehead as she closed her eyes. Alexander stepped into the car sitting across from them.
"Allow my men to help your men. Sebastian has been interfering with my shipments as well," he said.
She looked at him to see how serious he was.
"Very well," she sighed just as her brother was about to object.

"Don't you dare utter a word. I'm still angry with you. You should have told me what was happening before I even saw that video," she spat.
"I'm sorry sister," Alex said looking worried about his sisters' anger.
"Get out of the car," she said brushing him off.
"Sister," Alex said.
"Alexis," Lee said looking at her.
"Do you want to join him?" She challenged.

"It's okay Leeroy. I will see you home," Alex said as he opened the door.
Lee looked at her in surprise. Seeing both exhaustion and something else in her eyes. Letting her be he turned to look outside before attending to his phone as work calls started pouring in.
She sat quietly head leaned back, eyes closed, deep in thought.
"Sacha let's head to rainbow towers," she said knowing who she needed to see.

The security team at the gate stopped clearly showing that they were new. Upon being allowed access they drove to the hotel entrance.
A bellboy and guard stood at the entrance expecting clients only to realize who it was their postures becoming rigid as fear was visible in their eyes.
"Miss Romani," they greeted as Sacha helped her out of the car.
"Mr... Mr King one of them stuttered not expecting him as the guard pulled out his phone quickly speaking to whoever was on the other end of the line.

Walking into the main lobby several eyes turned to watch the three individuals, Alexis, Lee and Sacha.
Both men flanked Alexis. Lee hadn't said a word since they left Alexander and the docks. An elevator was already waiting for them as the attendant dared not look at Alexis sticking to the floor.
Handing her phone to Sacha who pocketed the device she looked ahead as no one said a word. The elevator came to a stop once they reached the top floor. Her expression said it all as her eyes met Tinotenda Chifamba. The arms dealer who was also a hotelier.
"Alexis Romani. You look lovelier each time I meet you," he smiled showing off his dimpled smile.
"Tino," she said walking towards him as his assistant stopped what he was doing as he turned to lead them to his office.

"Why the angry face?" He asked as Sacha was stopped before he entered the office.
A slight head nod from her told him to stay back. Looking at the man before her who was harmless he knew the information would be retrieved easily.
"I have an explosive problem," she said walking towards the window watching the scenery below them before turning to look at him.
"Ah yes," he said avoiding her gaze. "Is that why Mr King is also here?" He asked moving to the other side of the room.

"Come here Tino," She said turning to look outside again. "Open them," she said with her hands crossed behind her back as she stood up straight.
He reached for the doors that led to the balcony opening them. Before anyone could react she struck his throat making him gasp for air whilst she dragged him to the rail holding him over the edge.
"Alexis!" Lee yelled making the office doors swing open as Sacha and Tino's guards rushed in coming to a halt pulling out their weapons aiming them at her.
"Now Tino," she whispered as she held onto his tie as he looked down and back to her. "I swear if I detect a faint lie from you, you will know how skydivers feel but without a parachute. Are we clear?" She said.
"Crystal," he choked out as his tie tightened around his neck.
"Did you supply the explosives?" She asked.
He need-not say a word as he nodded his head yes vigorously.
"Tell them to stand down," she said as he simply nodded his head signalling his men to stand down as she pulled him forward. "That was fun wasn't it?" She said with a smirk as he sunk to the floor.
"I didn't know he was going to use them to attack you," he coughed out.
"So what are we going to do about that?" She said crouching before him grabbing his tie before loosening it.
"I will have the delivery information sent to you at once. There is a toy I have been developing. For you. A gift," he said breathed out as she smirked standing up.
Offering her hand he looked at it before hesitantly taking it. Pulling him up she smiled at him.
"You are such a wimp Tino. Now I know why you are part of my family," she said as he looked at her in disbelief.
"If not for the fact that you are a good damn boss or his woman, my men would have killed you," he said looking at Lee.
He didn't expect his tie to be wound around his neck before he had time to react once more.
"I do not take threats lightly Tino. You should know that," she said as his eyes bulged. Lee smirked watching the man lose consciousness.

"Let's go. By the time we get home he will have sent all the information including my gift," she said fixing her jacket as Sacha handed her, her phone.
"Wake him up," she told his guards as the men rushed into the office.
Dialling a number she watched as Tino sat up looking towards the elevators waving off his men. Looking towards her, he gave her a salute as she nodded her head in acknowledgement. Lee watched this realizing the kind of loyalty the men in her circle had.
"I should have killed him shouldn't I," she said looking at Sacha.
"He is weak but proves to always be useful," the man said.
"He is a cunning fellow. That's why he rose to where he is," Lee murmured to himself as the doors opened.

Walking out of the hotel he stayed back watching her get into the car.
"Are you not coming?" She asked with a frown.
"You need to cool down. I have business to take care of," he said as a car pulled up behind hers as a men stepped out opening the door for him.
"But," She said as he raised his hand stopping her.
"Fix things with your brother Lexi. I will see you later," he said just as his phone rang.
