R.ULES

✶ DIVERSITY / Your ocs need to be diverse! Make males, enbys, poc characters! I don't just want to write about the same people: I want as many different characters as possible, so don't be afraid to be diverse with your ocs personalities as well! Not everyone is perfect, so make them have flaws, make them different to your standard oc! 

✶ BEHAVIOUR / Hating on other people's ocs means a permanent ban from my account, absolutely no exceptions. The character is separate from the person who made them, and yes some characters may be assholes - but that doesn't mean in any circumstances that hate should be spread.

✶ FACECLAIMS / Your faceclaims should be age appropriate for the characters age (17-18). In other words, please don't apply with starkly older faceclaims. Please also refrain from using problematic faceclaims; you are allowed to use influencers, models, actresses, etc, so long as you follow the above rules. If you would like help looking for faceclaims, please feel free to ask!

✶ APPLICATIONS / When I am looking for applications to admit, I am looking for creative, detailed forms, with diverse and unique characters. If you are more detailed in your form, there is a much higher chance you'll get in. Feel free to use google docs if you wish!

✶ PREVIOUS APPLICATIONS / If you previously applied to 129th Boulevard, and you wish to have the form for your oc back, please let me know, and I will send it through to you. However, applying with the same oc you did before doesn't mean you are guaranteed to get in.

✶ SLOTS / As of right now, I don't know how many slots will be available ( as many as i choose at the time ) and its an oc x oc fic. I am not reserving any slots for this fic, so if you are my wp mutual/friend and you don't get admitted, please don't gaslight me! I also plan on using some ocs in the side cast as classmates.

Personality.
✶ A girl lost in her own feelings. Ines is summer if it lived on Earth as human life form. Bright and bubbly, with a knack for cheering people up, Ines lives each day to the fullest, more often than not with a smile plastered on her face. Those who know Ines well know exactly how light-hearted she is; while it may look from the outside as though her fun nature is an exaggeration of her true self, it's just the way Ines is. Her laughter is infectious, and the smile plastered on her face is enough of an indicator that she's a genuinely nice person.

✶ Nothing can hold Ines back, well and truly. She is a firm believer that rules are merely suggestions, and that freedom is more important than conforming; if she's told to do something she doesn't want to do, often she will do the opposite, just to prove a point. Ines thinks that society has put people in unnecessary boxes in an attempt to make everyone clones of each other, and believes that we should all do as we please. She's as free-flowing as the sea, and, in her own words, Ines 'goes wherever the wind takes her'.

✶ Ines is a daydreamer, to put it simply. She lives in her own little bubble, almost as though she were away from everyone else, and she looks to the future. Ines' parents evenings have always been filled with the same comments of 'she isn't present in my class', though if anything Ines takes these passing critiques as a compliment. 

✶ Ines is open-minded in her own views, but not in others, in the sense that she doesn't really understand or listen to anyone else's judgement but her own, because she is of the opinion that she's always correct. Naturally, that isn't always the case, but more often than not, Ines is too stubborn to agree with anyone else.

Backstory.
✶ Ines' father is an asshole, well and truly. In all honesty, she can't remember much about the shadow of a man she used to call her dad, not since he chose to leave her family when she was five years old, leaving her, her mother and her brothers behind. He was never much of a good father anyways, she was almost sure of it, and now the only thing that her and her siblings have to remember him by is his last name [ which is still far too much, if you were to ask Ines ].

✶ She has since lived with her mother and her two brothers in their little two bedroom apartment, of which she has her own room [ her brothers share, and her mother sleeps on the sofa bed]. Ines has always been close with the rest of her family; her mother had worked tirelessly to get her family to where they were, and Ines was forever grateful. Her father has since tried to contact her, but she has no wishes to ever respond; she knows he only wants to speak for his own gain, anyway.

Family Details && Dynamics.
✶ Malcolm Toussaint, father, aged 41, unknown occupation ; Ines doesn't know where he is, and she's lost the effort to care. Maybe in the past she would've wondered where he is, or how he's doing, but he left her family, and although he might be trying to repair the cracks, she knows he doesn't mean it. [ 0/10 ]

✶ Melissa Puntillo, mother, aged 41, nail technician ; Ines adores her mother. She knows that everything her mother has done has been with her family's best interests at heart, and for that she's forever grateful. Her mother has had to fall into the role of both parental figures, and Ines knows how hard she tries for them, and so always tries to help her back. [ 10/10 ]

✶ Zion Toussaint, brother, aged 22, pizza delivery driver ; Ines and her older brother have always been close. Even though their age gap is not a big one, he also filled the role of father figure growing up: he'd take her out when she asked, he'd drive her around town on his pizza delivery motorbike. All in all, he's been a great older brother [ though she wishes her friends would stop thirsting over him ]. [ 9/10 ]

✶ Amari Toussaint, brother, aged 13, student ; Ines and her younger brother are very close. Unlike Zion and Ines, who knew their father a bit, Amari grew up barely knowing the guy, and so Ines always aimed to make it as though they weren't lacking anything at all. They bicker a lot of the time, though neither of them mean it in a hurtful way. [ 9/10 ]
