The Second Day
On the second day of Christmas my true love gave to me two turtle doves, and a partridge in a pear tree.

Leo's POV
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Today I was working on a gift in the forge.
I looked at it and took off my welding goggles. "No, not quite perfect yet..." I muttered and went back to making it.
"Hey Leo!" Nyssa yelled.
"Yes?" I yelled back.
"It's snowing outside! Come on!"
"Okay, I'll be there in a minute."
I sighed. I didn't hate snow, but I didn't particularly have a good experience with Khione and all that.
At least I was warm because of my fire powers.
I pulled on a jacket and looked at my reflection. Hmm... not bad. I had a few soot smudges on my face and I looked like I hadn't brushed my hair in three weeks. Oh well.
I walked outside and instantly got hit with a snowball. I looked to see who threw it. It was Piper.
"Hey, Repair Boy, come join our snowball fight.
I looked around to see a few small snow forts with people hiding, snowballs in hand.
I grinned. "Oh it is so on!" I yelled and made my hands flame up.
I ran through the middle of the forts, and got pelted with snowballs, but burnt through all of them.
"Mwahahaha!" I laughed manically.
I didn't see where I was going though, and I crashed into somebody and fell to the ground.
"Owww..." I rubbed my head and looked up to see who it was.
Calypso. She held out her hand to help me up. I accepted it and stood up.
"Why does this keep happening?" I complained.
"What?" She asked, her eyebrow raised up quizzically.
"Me and you meeting like this. Me, crashing to the ground in front of you whether be on your coffee table, or crash landing on a dragon."
"Maybe you just have a tendency to "fall" for me." she joked.
"Ha ha. very funny." I said. "So how do you like the snow?"
"It's breathtaking." she said." I haven't seen it in centuries!"
Wow. Calypso hadn't seen snow in centuries? I'd thought about how long she'd been trapped on her island but didn't think about all the things she hadn't seen.
"Hey, Calypso, come on." I pulled at her hand and dragged her to Bunker 9.
"Leo wha-" she said as she was being pulled along. She got cut off because of the tree branch that smacked her face.
I opened the door, and got greeted by Festus.
"Hey buddy! Willing to do me a favor?"
Festus blew fire into the air, saying yes.
"Okay, so here's what I need you to do..."
About thirty minutes later, there was a big bronze chariot sitting there attached to Festus.
"Come on!" I yelled to Calypso as I dragged her into the chariot.
"Leo, what are we doing?" She asked.
I grinned at her. "You'll see."

Calypso's POV
Leo dragged me into his magical bronze chariot that resembled a sleigh.
Then he yelled to Festus, "Lets go!"
The bunkers roof opened up into a dome shape, and we took off.
"Woah!" I yelled.
The feeling of taking off was sortave scary but amazing.
The wind blew in my face and it felt like my face was peeling off.
Leo was just sitting next to me laughing.
Then he pressed a button that said "Turbo" and rocket blasters ejected out of the sides.
I only got to think one thought "Uh oh", before we flew forward.
Soon we were flying over New York City, it was amazing and covered with snow.
We flew in a circle around the Empire State Building, then headed to the Statue of Liberty.
She was standing proudly holding her torch up high and had flecks of snow covering her.
Leo guided to the top, near her torch and shot a fireball at the torch and it instantly burst into flames.
"Leo! Won't the mortals notice?" I yelled.
"Nah sunshine, they won't, or at least I don't think they will."
"Idiot." I muttered under my breathe and bent the Mist.
Finally we landed in Central Park.
We started a snow ball fight and I won. Then I used my magic to build a ten foot snowman.
"Won't the mortals notice that?" Leo pointed out.
"Nah, I can just use the Mist to cover it up."
There were a couple of confused mortals standing by, and to prove my point, I snapped my fingers at them and they wandered off with dazed expressions.
"See?"
"I guess."
Then Leo took me to a cafe and we got hot chocolate and cookies.
"My favorite!" Leo said.
"I thought your favorite food was tacos?"
"True. Well, my second favorite then."
After that we just wandered around.
We saw a jewelry shop and went inside. I found a necklace that I really liked.
It was a lily flower, on a gold chain, that looked like it was on fire.
"You want me to buy it?"
"Um no you don't have to."
"I will then." He got a wad of cash out of his pocket.
"How'd you get all that cash?"
He shrugged. "All of the campers usually come to me to repair or build things. After all, I'm "Repair Boy"."
"Youre my Repair Boy."I teased.
He fastened the necklace around my neck and we walked back to the chariot.
"Leo, thanks for the day it was amazing."
"Not as amazing as you."
He kissed me.
I giggled. "Stop being cheesy!"
He laughed and pulled me back into the chariot. We rode home, and he was making cheesy jokes all the way back.
AN So, I sortave lied about updating everyday. I'll try to update all twelve between now and New Years ok? I had semester tests and plus I'm lazyish... I'll have more time starting tommorrow. It's my last day of semester tests. Yay!
Yours in demigodishness and all that. Peace out.
