Baekhyun has a huge smirk on his face.

He was sitting in the casino a few seconds ago.Finally the clock ticked 8 and it was time for Annie to come.When Annie came she greeted the others and looked around to find Baekhyun.Baekhyun turned to her with a smirk on his face.Annie saw him and held his wrist before pulling him out of the casino.

And currently Annie is dragging Baekhyun to somewhere.She still looks annoyed about what happened last night.

Baekhyun thought a lot about what he did last night,freaked out and also had a few mental breakdowns.But then he called Taehyung,made him pause his fight and told him everything that happened.Taehyung was overjoyed because Baekhyun finally realized he likes her.Taehyung could tell from the very first day.Taehyung made Baekhyun understand it's okay.She is not from any other gang and being with her won't waste his time either.Because they are together everyday.So Baekhyun's workaholic self doesn't need to worry too much.And he also made Baekhyun understand that Baekhyun should at least try and date someone.It's been ages since he did that.Baekhyun works so much that it worries Taehyung.Baekhyun should have a life outside the gang as well.

After three hours of explaining on phone Baekhyun finally decided to calm down and own up to it.Taehyung is right,he should at least try.This could help him with the challenge as well.So Baekhyun has finally decided to that he won't hide his feelings from Annie anymore.He won't pretend like nothing happened last night.

Annie finally let go of his wrist when they came in between the main office building and the boundary wall.Only this place in the whole territory is lonely.

Annie then turned to Baekhyun and crossed her arms and frowned,"So why don't you try explaining what you did last night?"

Baekhyun smirked and put his hands inside his pockets,"I thought it was pretty self explanatory."

Annie raised her brows,"Are you crazy?Were you too drunk?Were you high?"

"None,"Baekhyun said.

"Do you know how stressed that made me.I was thinking about all possible scenarios.And I'm still stressed.I will think of last night as a mistake and don't do stuff like that again,"Annie said and looked away,"For last night I forgive you."

Baekhyun was having fun.He shook his head,"I didn't apologize though.So don't forgive me.And I won't stop doing it."

Annie turned to him and raised her brows at him again.She kept staring at him for a few seconds.

"What?"Baekhyun asked.

"I'm pretty sure that you've gone crazy.Really,"Annie said,"And is this a new plan?"

"What plan?"Baekhyun asked.

"After trying to befriend me and find out about me..this is your new idea to get closer to winning the damn challenge,Baekhyun?You think I didn't know why you were being so friendly with me?"Annie asked.

Baekhyun was kind of taken aback by being found out like this.So she knew his plan from the very start and played along with it?But Baekhyun didn't reply.He just looked at her.

Annie stepped towards him and frowned,"I'm not playing your games anymore,Byun.The day you figure out who I am fair and square..I'm going to leave this gang.Till then you are to stay away from me."

Baekhyun smirked,"I don't want to."

He knows he is making Annie really angry and he is weirdly enjoying it.

Annie tried really hard to suppress her anger and not burst out completely.

"And you don't need the gang the day I figure out who you are.I don't want you too.."Baekhyun said.

"Alas!I don't freaking care what you want,"Annie said,"I'm gonna go and ask Joonmyun oppa to cancel your and mine partnership thingy.I'm done with you and I don't want to get more stressed than I already am."

Baekhyun liked the fact that Annie was so stressed about last night.Even though she was trying to hide her expressions Baekhyun knew that he is effecting her.

Annie was about to leave.But Baekhyun grabbed her elbow and pulled her against himself.He then wrapped his hands around her waist.Annie's annoyed expression didn't change.But she didn't try to do anything.She was not trying to move or get out of his grip.

"You won't be able to cancel anything,"Baekhyun said,"So how about just.."

"If you don't move your hands from me right now,what happens to you here on forth is not my fault,"Annie whispered in front of his ear.

Baekhyun smirked,didn't remove his hands and said,"Look,I am being like this after a lot of thinking.What I did last night might've shocked you but I think it's for our own g.."

Before Baekhyun could finish Annie got out of his grip and suddenly raised her knee.Baekhyun's reflexes are really good so he quickly held her knee before it could actually hit him at the spot she was aiming it at and make his chances of ever having children taken away.

"Stop being violent,"Baekhyun said.

Annie was unbothered and she was still crossing her arms as she slowly put her knee down,"Stay away from me if you don't want to die or become infertile."

Then she started walking away.

"Hey,why do you hate it so much?I thought I was pretty desirable?"Baekhyun shouted from behind,"Honestly you are being shy because you like me too much,Huh?

"Fuck off,"she shouted while continuing to walk away.

Baekhyun chuckled seeing that.

Cute.

Joonmyun was in his room and talking on the phone with someone.He was just about to hang up when Annue bursted into his room.Annie was about to say something but stopped when she saw he was on phone.After he hung up he looked at Annie and smiled,"I was just about to call you.Where's Baekhyun?You two need to..."

Annie completely cut him off,"I don't want to be Baekhyun's partner anymore.I won't be."

Joonmyun frowned.What is this suddenly?

"Why?What happened?"Joonmyun asked.

Annie was about to say something but paused and then said,"He is annoying.I don't like him.He gets on my nerves and I might end up killing him.Are these reasons enough?"

Joonmyun leaned back on his chair and looked at Annie again,"I thought you two were getting along pretty well the last few weeks?"

"Oh no,we weren't.We hate each other.We would slice of each other's head at any given moment.So.."

Joonmyun frowned lightly,"I don't think it would be possible.You two are great together."

Annie suddenly lost her temper,"NO,WE AREN'T.NOT DURING MISSIONS AND NOT AT ANYTHING ELSE."

Joonmyun frowned again,"Anything else?As in?"

Annie sighed,"Nothing,Oppa...I can't be with him for any longer.He would drive me crazy.And What if he finds out who I am?He would make me leave the gang anyway..So..."

"No,"Joonmyun said,"You two would be partners,no matter what.And tonight..."

Annie didn't let him finish and threw a serious tantrum while stomping on the ground like a child,"Oppa,no!You don't understand what is happening.We can't be together for a few more seconds.Or else it would cause a lot of trouble.You don't want trouble,do you?"

"I never do.But I think I get trouble almost everyday.."Joonmyun sighed,"Anyway..tonight.."

Annie again didn't let him finish and continued to try and explain that she and Baekhyun can't be partners.

Joonmyun sighed.He understood it would take a long time for her to stop and it would be too late so he decided to do something about it,"Okay fine!"

Annie stopped and looked at Joonmyun,"Really?"

Joonmyun nodded,"I would think about your request after you two succeed in tonight's mission."

Annie suddenly frowned,"Mission?What mission?"

"It's a mission you and Baekhyun have to fulfill as partners.There would be other members as well but you two would lead them.After this I would think about dismissing yours and Baekhyun's partnership.Only if you succeed though,"Joonmyun said.

"Oppa,tell me what the mission is.I would do it by myself.Baekhyun can stay here.."

"No,you two need to do it together.."Joonmyun said,"It's necessary and it's an order."

Annie sighed.Joonmyun knew Annie didn't want to do it.But he can't help it.They would have to do it together.

Annie is currently driving Baekhyun's bike and Baekhyun is sitting behind her while putting bullets in his gun with a huge smirk plastered on his face.How is he putting billets in the gun so calmly while Annie is driving so fast..nobody knows.

They are currently on their way to their mission for tonight.Behind them are a few members of NCT and WayV who also have been assigned to help them out with the mission.Their mission is so to burn down a warehouse.Joonmyun has got news that Yoojung secretly got a warehouse for Rubies in Seoul to start a business today in Seoul even though Seoul is restricted for them.Now they have to go to that warehouse and burn that down and possibly capture the gang members that are in there as well.

That would be the warning for Rubies and Yoojung to back down.They need to let Rubies know that they found out what's happening.It is going to be tough one because they don't know how many gang members will there be in the warehouse and how much they have to fight.They also have no idea about how big the warehouse might be.This mission could've been done that mission a few days later as well but Joonmyun likes to be dramatic so he told them to do this tonight.On the very first day they got the warehouse.

Annie didn't want to come with Baekhyun.But now the two of them are the leaders of this mission.Baekhyun likes it.And Annie already hates it.But after this mission hopefully Joonmyun would stop this partnership between her and Baekhyun.She is tried of him being like this within just a couple of hours.While driving Annie was telling herself to focus on the mission and not remember anything Baekhyun did last night and this evening.

After they reached the warehouse they saw no one was outside.The warehouse wasn't very big but it was two storey.It was in an abandoned area which was nice.Annie and Baekhyun quickly briefed the others the plan of action.While stating the plan weirdly Annie and Baekhyun didn't fight.They never fight during missions and their understanding is amazing.After everyone understood the plan they all got to it.They broke the door of the warehouse and started with it.There were a lot of members of Rubies present there.Looks like they were celebrating getting the new warehouse.They were really shocked at the sudden attack.But they got a grip and started attacking back.There were a lot of people.Annie and Baekhyun didn't expect that.The rest of their gang members didn't as well.The shooting and the fighting became really fierce and scary.There were a whole lot of members of Rubies there then there were of Baekhyun's gang.But because of Annie and Baekhyun's amazing leadership and understanding they managed to take down,catch a lot of the associates of Rubies and burn down the warehouse.A lot of members of Rubies ran away but this was enough for now.

Baekhyun and Annie were now standing in front of the burning warehouse.It looked really nice under the night sky.NCT and WayV members were taking care of the members of Rubies that they caught.Rubies got a good lesson today.They didn't expect to get attacked on the very first day.After this fight they would think twice before messing with them.

Annie slowly wiped down the blood running down her forehead.Today's fight was hard.They were up against a lot of people.So it's natural for them to get a bit hurt.At least none of them got shot.Baekhyun looked at her and then quickly got out his handkerchief and gave it to Annie.She looked so good with the light from the fire falling on her face.Annie looked at the handkerchief and took it.Then she pressed it against her forehead.Then she looked at Baekhyun.She has to admit they are really good as partners in crime.If It were not for them,then they would surely fail and get caught by Rubies instead.But Annie can't let it happen.He can't let Baekhyun fall for her.And she can't as well.They will just end up getting hurt.From last night Annie is just pretending to be angry but in reality she is scared.Last night she got a reality check.She can't be too close to Baekhyun.She is scared of the future of her and Baekhyun.That's why she wants Baekhyun to stay away from her no matter how good they are together.

Baekhyun smiled at her.It wasn't a smirk.It was a genuine smile.Annie felt sad looking at him even after the win they got today.The lights emitting from the fire made him look so good.He also had a lot of cuts and wounds after the fight.He got a huge wound on his wrist.Blood is dripping from it.

Annie sighed.She slowly took his hand and gently tied his handkerchief around his wrist.

"Thank you,"Baekhyun said sincerely.

Annie nodded.She figured that this is the last time she's going to do something nice for him.After this they are not gonna be partners anymore anyway.

Annie then looked at him who was looking at her at as well.Her heart felt weird seeing him like this.

That's it.They surely can't get any closer than this.

"WHAT?"Annie shouted loudly.

Annie's sudden shout startled Joonmyun and made Baekhyun smirk.

Annie and Baekhyun and the rest are back to their territory with the captives.Annie and Baekhyun are now in Joonmyun's room.Namjoon,Sunmi,Irene Are also present here.Annie just told Joonmyun that they succeeded in the mission so now her and Baekhyun's partnership is over.Baekhyun actually got a bit scared thinking Joonmyun would actually end it.But turns out Joonmyun heard the whole details about the mission from Lucas and how Baekhyun and Annie made the mission successful as a team.So Joonmyun told Annie he had said he would think about think about her request,he didn't promise to accept it.That means they are still partners.That made Baekhyun really happy.That made Annie give this reaction.

"Oppa,you are the meanest and the worst person I have ever encountered!"Annie shouted,"How could you do this to me?"

Baekhyun was trying to hold back his laughter.

"I don't care what you say but you two will remain partners for the sake of the gang,"Joonmyun said,"You two are really good together."

"How is that any fair?"Annie whined.

"Stop being such a child,Annie.Our gang should come before our personal feelings,"Namjoon said,"I think you should stay together too."

"But..."

"I think so too,"Irene said.

Annie then looked at Sunmi hoping shy would support her as she is her best friend.But Sunmi slowly said,"Sadly,I agree with them too."

"Unnie,not you too!"Annie said and stomped.

"Why don't y'all try and resolve what happened between you two?"Namjoon asked,"I don't know..talk it out?"

"I tried!I was being the bigger person and ready to forgive him.But he wouldn't even apologize!"Annie shouted,"And he's being weird!"

Everyone looked at Baekhyun.Joonmyun asked,"Why aren't you saying sorry?"

Baekhyun shrugged,"Because I didnt do anything I should be sorry for."

"See?How do I work with that basta.."

"Woah,there,"Namjoon said,"Calm down."

"Y'all are unfair and ungrateful,"Annie shouted,"I won't work with him anymore and that's final."

Joonmyun sighed,"You are going to work with him.That's final.End of discussion."

"Hell no.."

Before Annie could finish Baekhyun looked at his watch and said while smirking,"It's almost 12 am.That means our Cinderella has to leave,right?"

Annie glared at him and looked at her watch.She was so hyper she forgot all about it.It's 11:55.She has to go now.

She looked at Joonmyun,"I have to go for today but I won't.."

"You will.You two will be partners.That's an order from your leader,"Joonmyun said the last words very seriously.

Annie sighed.She can't argue anymore.She has to leave.She can't help being Baekhyun's partner anymore.

She turned to leave when Baekhyun smirked and asked,"Want me to drop you off,partner?"

"Shut up,"She threatened before walking out.

Baekhyun laughed out loud.Baekhyun doesn't understand why Annie hates the idea of dating him or being with him so much.But he would have to convince her.

"What'd you do to make her so angry?"Namjoon asked.

Baekhyun kept laughing looking at her walking away,"Nothing much."

Everyone looked at him with narrowed eyes but Baekhyun didn't move his gaze from Annie.

Convincing this woman wouldn't be as easy as he thought but it would be really enjoyable.
