"So Baekhyun-ah.."Annie took a deep breath and started.

Baekhyun was looking at her curiously.Annie knew he was also preparing himself mentally to listen to Annie's side of the story.He was probably more nervous than she was.

Annie knew she had to tell Baekhyun the truth sooner or later.He deserved an explanation.He deserved a closure for getting hurt like this.She had been preparing herself for this.But now she's terrified.What if she thinks the reason wasn't good enough?What if he doesn't forgive her?Where do they go from there?Would he throw her out of her life?

"Annie?" Baekhyun asked,snapping her out of her thoughts.He was getting impatient,Annie knew it.He waited so long for this explanation.She needed to tell him right now.

Annie was scared,her hands were being shaky.But she still started,knowing she shouldn't make him wait more,"So..it all started when dad passed away..or should I say was murdered by his own ex wife aka my mother because he wouldn't send me off to her."

Annie's face twitched in hatred when she talked about her mother.

"Hmm?"

Annie sighed and said,"After the funeral we moved in a house oppas' fathers managed for us.Even though we were really sad,we planned to make a gang together.And we did.We all had our individual duties.Remember?"

Baekhyun nodded.

Annie smiled,"Do you remember how happy we were when we first named our gang.We all were teenagers so we found that stupid name so amazing?"

Those moments with them were the moments Annie cherished so much.As it was her last moments with them before she had to leave.

Baekhyun nodded.He cherished those moments dearly too.

"So..during the days when I used to go out..to work at the cafe..my mother somehow found me,"Annie said.

Annie used to work at a cafe during morning to earn some money for everyone.Baekhyun,Namjoon and Joonmyun also used to work part time to earn for them.At night,after evening they used to work as a gang.

Baekhyun frowned.That woman wasn't supposed to find Annie.How did she do it?

As if Annie read Baekhyun's mind.She said,"I don't know how she found me Baekhyun.She started to come to the cafe everyday to bother me.She was pestering me to listen to her.But I tried to ignore her.She was being so annoying that my boss and the guests were getting annoyed.I was scared to get fired because I needed that money for us.So I listened to what she has to say."

Baekhyun raised his brows.

Annie paused and composed herself before saying,"We talked in the cafe while sitting at one of the tables.She had a smug face the whole time as if she's enjoying while I was beyond disgusted.She threatened me to come and live with her.She threatened me that I would regret it and she would abduct me.Really scarily.I got really scared...so I.."

She then stopped and looked at him to see Baekhyun's reaction.She didn't know if she should say more.What if he gets hurt because of it?

His facial expression turned angry.

"You left with her just because she scarily threatened you?" Baekhyun asked,shocked and angry.

He couldn't believe it.This wasn't the Chungha he knew.Even though she was only 15 at that time she isn't one to get scared and leave with that woman just because she was threatened.

Annie stayed quiet and looked at her lap,trying to avoid eye contact.

"Tell me what happened next.You are hiding something,aren't you?" Baekhyun asked,angrily.

Annie shook her head,not looking at him.

Baekhyun slammed his palm on the table separating the two of them.He was more than sure that she wasn't telling the full story.

Annie flinched at the sound of the slam.She looked up to see if he was hurt.He wasn't too hurt but his palm had turned red.

"Tell me,Kim Chungha What did that woman say to you?What did that woman threaten you with?Tell me!!"

Annie didn't reply.That got Baekhyun furious.

"Tell me!"

He was about to slam his palm on the table again but Annie panicked and blurted out without thinking before he could hurt himself.

"She said she would kill you!"

Baekhyun stopped and looked up to her.

"What?"

Annie sighed.Now that it's out,she should just say it.

Annie looked away again,"That woman had found out where you work during the day.She knew how much you mean to me.She told me that she would actually kill you if I didn't come with her.Seeing that she had killed father,I had no doubt that she could actually pull something like that."

Annie paused before saying,"She also said after killing you she would go after oppas and then she would abduct Taehyung and he would have to live with her.She had found out where we lived as well.We were being watched 24/7 by that woman's husband's men.I was afraid that even if we changed houses,she would still be able to find us."

Annie paused again before saying,"I didn't want that woman to hurt any more of my family.Not after father.You all deserved to be happy.Knowing that she would hurt you and oppas and will take Taehyung with her..I couldn't take it..I didn't want them to lay a single scratch on you or didn't want Taehyung to be living with that horrible woman being both physically and emotionally abused.I knew you three could raise him way better than she ever could."

Annie's voice was shaking.She was about to cry,"I had to make a decision.I had to go with that woman.I couldn't tell you guys as you guys would stop me and it would put you guys in danger.I didn't want that.Ever.So I left without telling you all."

Annie couldn't take it.Tears started making their way down her cheeks slowly and her voice was sounding broken.

"She took me to Texas where she and her husband moved to.It was hell.I was so thankful that Taehyung didn't have to experience this.I was so sure that you would provide so much better family environment for him.I know how much you three loved him."

Annie shivers thinking about her time staying with her mother and her husband.She remembers all the mental and physical abuse she had to go through.She missed the four of them so much.There wasn't a single day when she didn't cry herself to sleep.

"After a few years of living in that hell,mother ended up really sick because of an incurable disease and ended up passing away.Her husband had left her for another woman after she got sick.I was probably the only girl who felt happy and free after my mother passed away,"Annie chuckled in between her sobs.

"I stayed in Texas for few more years and completed my education.I also kept training for fighting and shooting with a few underground gangs.Oh..and I forgot.I was a RJ in a radio program in Texas too.It was one similar program where I told stories and it helped people to go to sleep.It helped me stay sane all these years.I felt like I was telling you stories like I used to every night."

Annie was full on crying right now.She couldn't stop herself,"I used to keep the news of you guys with the help from my few underground gang member friends.I used to be so proud knowing you all came so far.But I was so worried knowing how much of a workaholic you have become.Then I suddenly got an RJ offer in Korea.They apparently really liked my show and wanted me to come to Korea.I couldn't control my greed to see you guys anymore.So I became selfish and came here.It took me courage to come to territory to just see a glance of you guys.Sunmi Unnie had caught me snooping around the territory once.She thought I was an intruder and brought me to Joonmyun Oppa.Somehow he recognized me easily and I was forced to tell him and Namjoon Oppa Everything.They believed me and planned all this and also told me to hide my identity from you for sometime.That's when the Yoojung drama started."

Annie finished her story and sighed.She still didn't look at Baekhyun.

"You know what...even though you might think what I did was not right or wasn't a good excuse to hurt you all like this..i don't regret it.If I had to do it again,I would do the same.I would always take the hit for you guys without any guys.Isn't that what family members are for?"Annie asked while sobbing,"One thing I regret is that I shouldn't have hidden my identity from you.I should've been honest from the start.Then you wouldn't have to go through such an emotional distress after finding out who I am.It must've been really hard for you.I am so sorry."

Annie tried to control her cries but it didn't work,"But please don't hate oppas and Taehyung.It's not their fault.I shouldn't have been so greedy to be with you and to fix you.And Taehyung didn't even know the truth.He found out not long ago.So..if you want to hate someone..hate me.And after this if you want me to get out of your life..I happily would.Heck,I would go out of Korea and never come back.Just say the word..but don't be angry on the three of.."

That's the point of the conversation when Baekhyun got up.Annie flinched at his sudden action.She had no idea about his reaction or feelings.She didn't look at him all this time,he didn't even talk as well.Annie didn't dare to look up at him.She was scared of his reaction.

But what Baekhyun did surprised her.He came and sat beside her on the sofa and engulfed her in a tight and warm hug and kept his head on her shoulder.That's when she finally found out what his reaction was all this time.

He was crying all along.

A few drops of his tears fell on her head.

"You fool,you could've just told us what was happening to you.We would've done everything to protect you from that horrible woman.You worried about us but somehow thought we didn't care about you?" Baekhyun asked while tears dropped down his eyes.

Why didn't he ever try to think from her point of view?Why did he think that she had betrayed them rather than she leaving them because she cares for them?When she left he was so devastated that he locked all her memories in a part of his head and never visited that part.That's probably why he couldn't recognize her when he saw her after all these years.

Only if he visited that part of his memory and tried to think about why she could've done it rather than assuming that she betrayed them for a better life abroad..things would've been so different now.His heart swells up at the fact that she did so much for them..for him..to make sure that he's not hurt in any way..and he gave her the title of being a betrayer.He feels disgusted at himself.And the sudden thought of her enduring all these pains and tortures by herself for all these years is so scary and heartbreaking.The four of them stuck together while Annie was all alone bearing all this pain by herself.

Tears steamed down Baekhyun's eyes and he closed his eyes while pulling Annie closer.She cried more with her face buried in his neck.

He patted her shoulder lovingly and sincerely said,"I'm so sorry,Chungha.I'm so sorry that I left you alone for so many years.Im so sorry that you had to endure all of this for me while I thought of you as a cheater.I'm so sorry."

That just made Annie bawl more,"Don't say that,please.You are my entire world."

Baekhyun didn't know what to do to make it up to her.He has already made so many mistakes.

"Will you forgive me,Baekhyun?"Annie asked in between her cries.

"I'm the one that should be apologizing,"Baekhyun said,"I knew you the best..yet I thought.."

Annie grabbed onto his shirt tighter and said,"Don't say that please.I am not even angry at you for thinking that."

"But I am!!I don't know how to make it up for it.I should make it up for making you go through all this shit,for not believing you and for being your weakness."

"You don't need to..Baek..I mean it..And you are not my weakness.You are and will always be my strength.Because of you tonight I could fight back against Yoojung's men with that head injury..."

Annie kept repeating saying that it wasn't his fault.He shouldn't be sorry.Baekhyun didn't say anything any further.

That night the two of them cried in each other's arms for hours.These cries held so many emotions they had bottled up for years.They cried until there was not a single tear left in her system.They didn't leave each other's arms.Baekhyun had promised himself that this would be the last time Annie would cry like this.

From now on,he would protect Annie like she had protected him all these years.And he knows that Annie said that he didn't need to do anything to make it up.But he knows what he should do.From now on,he would never leave Annie alone.She had to deal with everything alone all these years.But from now on he would be there with her.On every step of her life.

He won't let her be alone anymore.

And Byun Baekhyun keeps his promises.

Taehyung,Namjoon and Joonmyun were standing outside the front gate,they were here just Incase Baekhyun gets angry and tries something.They were here to calm him down incase.But when they heard both of them crying from the inside,they knew they didn't need to worry anymore.Everything would get sorted.

Even though they were happy they also couldn't stop a few drops of tears roll down from their cheeks.

One year later

Baekhyun and Annie were sitting on the boundary wall of one of their warehouses monitoring the works of their workers.Baekhyun had his arm around Annie and his head was on her shoulder.They were sitting in comfortable silence when Annie looked at her watch and said,"Baek,it's 12!"

Baekhyun rolled his eyes and got up from his shoulders and frowned at her.Annie gave him a small smile,"Sorry,Baek."

Baekhyun rolled his eyes again.

"I would be back before you know it!"Annie smiled,"But I have to.."

"Take a day off today," Baekhyun said hopefully.

Annie shook her head sadly,"Sorry Baek.You know I can't.And from tomorrow I'm taki.."

"You always say that!"Baekhyun said and angrily turned around.

Annie smiled at his cuteness and gave him a sudden peck on his cheeks.He always does this but she knows he would be okay by the time she comes back.He does this everyday anyway.

She then hoped down from the boundary wall and looked at Baekhyun,"Baekhyun,I don't want to.But too bad it's 12.Gotta go."

Baekhyun shrugged,sulking.Annie chuckled and turned around to leave.After taking a few steps Baekhyun shouted from behind as she knew,"You better be done soon,I will come to pick you up!"

Annie smiled happily and shouted back,"I will be waiting!"

Then she continued to walk towards the bus station with a huge smile on her face.

Annie cleared her throat and put on her headphones.It's almost 12:30.Her radio show is about to start.Annie is more joyful than usual today.She knew staff members could tell.Some even commented saying how happy and vibrant she looked today.

As soon as the clock ticked 12:30,the program started.Annie smiled and started the show by saying in the microphone,"Everyone welcome to 'The Goodnight show' by Kim Chungha.If you have listened to me before,Welcome back.And if you are new here,welcome!I really hope you stick around and I hope this show gives you a bit of joy and happiness!"

After taking a small breath Annie said,"We are soon going to start telling different stories our amazing viewers sent to us.But before that I gave a quick announcement to make!"Annie said and paused knowing the viewers are probably really curious to know what is up.

Annie continued,"I,Kim Chungha wouldn't be present for the radio program for a week.I have to be somewhere else during this time.Another amazing host will be taking my face during this time.I hope you understand and thank you!"

Right then the radio station was bombarded with messages.Annie chuckled and was told to read few of the messages.

Annie said while looking at the message,"Listener 'shimmyshimmykokobop' says 'Unnie are you okay?You are not sick,are you?This is your first break after you took one a year ago for two days for your accident'"Annie then said,"Thank you so much for your concern.And yes I'm well.It's right that I haven't taken a break in a year.But this time it isn't because of any sickness."

Last year Annie had to miss the program for two days because one day she took a day of for her date with Baekhyun and the next day because she was kidnapped by Yoojung.She had told everyone that she had gotten into an accident.That's why she couldn't come to the program.She hadn't taken a day off since then because this program is precious to her.

"This time I'm going on a trip.That's why I'm taking this break.Im going abroad for a little vacation with my family and my.."Annie shyly said,"My boyfriend.It's my first vacation ever so I hope it will be good.I will make sure to tell you guys everything I did there as soon as I come back.You all can wait for me,right?"

The radio station was again bombarded with messages as soon as the word 'boyfriend' was mentioned.Curious fans wanted to know more.There were also messages from her gang members.Haechan made most of the gang members her listeners.Annie could see "Fullsun" aka Haechan saying something like,"Your boyfriend is the worst for taking you away from one week.".She could also see messages from 'BoomingsystemTytrack' aka Taeyong, 'Themosthandsomeone' aka Lucas and 'longassride' aka Mark's message saying that she needed this vacation and that they would wait along with her other listeners.She was so happy to have these amazing gangmates and so many listeners.This show is a big part of her life and she will miss it for the next seven days.She didn't read any message out loud.She smiled and ignored them for now.

"So let's start the first story for tonight!"

The drive from the territory was a bit long.But the five of them reached there soon because of Baekhyun's fast driving.

The five of them stood in front of the cemetery,all dressed in black and with flowers in their hands.It was still noon.Annie's hands were trembling.She was really nervous and sad. Baekhyun held her hand to give her strength.Taehyung held Annie's other hand.After she had calmed down a bit they finally entered the cemetery and stood in front of the grave of Taehyung and Annie's father.It was his death anniversary again.Taehyung didn't come here last year as he wished that he would come here with the four of them this year.Annie finally had gathered the courage to come here so his wish was fulfilled.All these years Annie missed him so much.She felt so sad that she had to live with the woman that killed her amazing father,who loved her so much.That's why she couldn't come here last year.She felt guilty.But this year the four of them told her that it wasn't her fault what she did was for their sake and their father would be proud of her.

The four of them watched her as he broke down in tears in front of the grave asking for forgiveness to her father,wishing that he's happy in the afterlife,asking if he's looking at her from the sky,telling him that the five of them are okay. Baekhyun's heart was breaking seeing her crying so much but she needed this to be okay.She needed to face him.She needed to talk to her father.

After she pulled herself together the rest of them kept the flowers on the grave and paid respects.They would be nowhere if it wasn't for him.

Baekhyun held Annie's hand again and assured her everything is okay.Annie just gave him a small smile.

After coming out of the cemetery Joonmyun looked at Annie and said,"Let's not be sad anymore.Today should be a happy day!"

Annie nodded.Today should be a happy day.

To light up the mood Taehyung put his arms up childishly and said,"Let's go to the airport!!"

Seeing his cheerfulness,cheered up the rest of them a bit.

"Let's go!!"

Baekhyun slowly opened his eyes as the sunlight hit his eyes.He smiled as soon as he opened his eyes.Because right in front of his eyes was Annie.She was in his arms and her cheek was resting on his bare shoulder.Only her shoulder was exposed,the rest was covered with the white blankets.She was sleeping so peacefully and she looked like an Angel. Baekhyun hates the fact that he would have to wake her up.He slowly kissed her forehead and said while shaking her a bit,"Time to wake up,love."

Annie snuggled closer to him but didn't wake up completely.Baekhyun found that adorable.But he shook her again,"We really have to wake up,dear.We are already late."

That's when Annie slowly opened her eyes and hugged Baekhyun tighter,"Two more minutes."

Baekhyun ruffled her hair and said,"Okay only two minutes."

After two minutes Annie got up and gave Baekhyun a kiss and they both freshened up and for the day and then went out side of their room.

When they went outside of their room they were met with three very unamused people sitting at the dining table.They all looked so disappointed at the two of them.

"You were asked to wake up by 9.It's 11 now,"Namjoon said,"I told you to put on an alarm."

"We did!But for some reason it didn't go off!"Annie protested and slowly said,"Sorry.But why didn't you all wake us up?You could've knocked on the door!"

"What if knock on the door and the door suddenly opens?I don't want to see what the two of you are up to in your room!"Joonmyun said,"I have already learnt the lesson that you shouldn't ever try to 'disturb' a couple that's in their room...hard way."

Annie frowned,"We had locked the room and we didn't even do anything last n.."

"I can literally see your hickeys but go off I guess!"Namjoon said.

Annie tried to hide her neck but now it was of no use.She then glared at Baekhyun who just smirked at her.

Baekhyun looked at Taehyung who was eating chips and asked,"Why are you eating chips in the morning?What about breakfast?"

"Hyung the thing is..we had planned about everything for this trip.But we didn't plan about who was going to cook breakfast.None of us know how to cook,"Taehyung said.

The realization hit both Annie and Baekhyun.They has completely forgotten about this breakfast aspect of the trip.None of them are good cooks.None of them know how to cook.

"What do we do now?" Baekhyun asked.

"Eat chips and shut up?"Joonmyun asked.

"No,lets make breakfast together!"Annie exclaimed,"We are here to have fun!I bet you making breakfast together would be really fun!"

All of them turned to her.They were trying to see if she was joking or no.Seems like she wasn't.She was serious.

"Chungha-ah,do you know that we might cause an accident if we try to cook?"Joonmyun asked,"We might burn this place down.And I don't want to die before seeing and enjoying in Hawaii."

"Me too!"Taehyung said.

"I promise you,it would be fun!We should do everything together in this trip that we didn't ever do!"Annie said and before they all could protest she dragged all of them to the kitchen.

Now the five of them were in a expensive ass beach house in the beautiful Hawaii,making breakfast for themselves.It's their first day in Hawaii.They plan to stay here for a week.It was always Taehyung's wish to come here.And it is Annie's first ever trip.

The breakfast they all made together didn't taste good.The toasts were burnt and what not.But the fact that the five of them made it together and were eating together while talking about the plans for the rest of the day..made this tasteless breakfast so special.

Annie just knew they were going to have so much fun in this trip.

It's the last night in Hawaii.They are going back tomorrow morning.Everything is packed.

Currently it's 5:30 am.The sky is still a bit dark.The sunrise is in half an hour or so.

Taehyung is standing and leaning on the railing of the balcony and looking at the beautiful beach not far away.He was looking back to the last seven days.The five of them had so much fun together.They did everything they could to have fun.They went sightseeing,played in the beach,did some crazy water sports,ate local foods,visited so many beautiful places,went shopping,bought gifts for everyone,made so many memories together.Taehyung had taken away their phones and it was a rule to not worry about work or anything at all during this trip.Joonmyun occasionally got his phone just so he could talk to his girlfriend,Sunmi.Yes,Joonmyun has asked her out and she said yes.The rest of them followed the rules. Baekhyun did too.He wasn't as much of a workaholic now.He still loves working but now Annie makes sure he gets a healthy amount of sleep and eats well everyday.Taehyung is so happy that Annie could change Baekhyun's unhealthy habits in just a year.He is so happy that they are together.

The trip has been nothing but a dream to Taehyung.He didn't know that this was possible.Even last year,could he have thought that his wish of uniting his family and being happy together would be fulfilled?

A tear dropped from Taehyung's eye.It was not a sad tear.It was from pure happiness.He was genuinely happy now.They didn't need to be scared to be happy anymore.They all were genuinely happy because they were together.

Taehyung's dream had come true.

That's when he heard a knock on his door.He quickly wiped his tear and asked,"Yes?"

"Taehyung-ah,get up,"came Baekhyun's voice from outside,"Let's go watch the sunrise together."

"Yes!!"Taehyung said happily and ran towards the door.

At 5:52 the sun finally rose.They all stood on the sand by the lonely beach and looked at the sunrise.The five of them were so happy.None of them knew it was possible to be this happy.That their family was complete.All misunderstanding were long gone.All sadness and grudges were long gone.They were together now.

Baekhyun had always felt scared when he felt extremely happy.Because he thought something bad would happen right after that.But now he's not afraid.Because they are together.It's his time to be genuinely happy.He has Annie now,he has his brothers now,he has his teammates now.What more could he need?

Same goes for Annie and the rest of them as well.They has suffered a lot in life.Now it was finally time to leave all of it behind and start afresh..happily.Just like Taehyung hoped.The five of them to be happy together.

The five of them held each other's hand and looked at the beautiful sunrise.

Right now they are at the very peak of happiness and no one can take them down.Because if someone tries to drag one of them down,the rest would be there to protect him or her.

"Lets be together forever.I love you guys,"Baekhyun said sincerely.

Baekhyun never says stuff like that.So it was so special and emotional when he said that.

They all repeated the words.

Baekhyun then slowly whispered to Annie who was right beside him,"I love you,Chungha."

Annie smiled,"I love you too,Mr.Byun Baekhyun.No one can ever separate us again."

Baekhyun nodded,smiling.And then all of them concentrated on the sky.

Damn right.

Anyway,I had so much fun writing this story.I know it doesn't make much sense but all of my stories don't.So.,hehe.This was another weird concept idea I had like all my other stories.It took me sometime to finish it but I really enjoyed writing it.
