"What's your problem?"Baekhyun asked Lucas who was looking really gloomy and sad and walking up and down in front of Baekhyun just to annoy him and get his attention.

Lucas quickly came and stood in front of Baekhyun,"You want to know what happened to me?"

Baekhyun looked up from his phone and said,"That was just a rhetorical question.I have no interest in whatever the hell happened to you.So stop roaming around right in front of my face and get lost."

Lucas's face had lit up when he called but his face immediately lost its shine.

"Hyung!"Lucas said,"Don't be like that,please listen to me."

Baekhyun sighed,"Y'all think I have interest in your life way more than I actually do.Stop bothering me and let me work."

Baekhyun then turned back to his phone.

Right then Taeyong walked into the room and Lucas immediately grabbed his hand.

"What happened?"Taeyong asked.

"I lost it!"Lucas said.

"We all know you lost your mind way earlier,"Baekhyun said not looking up from his phone.

Lucas glared at him then looked at Taeyong,"I lost the watch Annie Noona bought me today."

As soon as Baekhyun heard that he looked up at Lucas and asked,"Who bought you what today?"

Lucas and Taeyong both stared at him for a few seconds then Lucas replied,"Annie Noona bought me a watch when we went to the mall this afternoon."

Baekhyun quickly got up from his chair and walked towards Lucas and Taeyong.Baekhyun couldn't believe what he was hearing.

While walking towards Lucas he asked,"So you're telling me you met Annie outside of our territory this afternoon?"

"Yeah,she called me and Taeyong hyung out,"Lucas said.

Baekhyun turned to Taeyong,"You too?She called the two of you out?By herself?"

Taeyong and Lucas nodded like it's the most normal thing ever.

Baekhyun stood in front of them,"So you're telling me she met you two on her own accord outside the territory during day light?"

Baekhyun still couldn't believe this.

"Yeah,she calls us outside to hang out with her a few times,"Taeyong said,"Why?"

Baekhyun widened his eyes,"Sometimes?That means she hung out with you two a few times already?"

Taeyong and Lucas nodded.

"What?Why?When?How?Why didn't you tell me?"Baekhyun shouted.

Lucas and Taeyong widened their eyes at his sudden outburst.Lucas then asked,"I thought you were not interested in our life?"

Baekhyun cursed himself for saying that to Lucas just a few minutes earlier.Then he slowly gave a small and forced smile.That shocked Lucas and Taeyong even more.He rarely smiles at them.Most of the time he just glared.

"I was just kidding!If I won't be interested in my cute dongsaeng's life,who would be?"He said and slowly came between Taeyong and Lucas and put his arms around both of their shoulders and tried to keep his forced smile and jolly vibe,"So why dont y'all tell me what happens in your life..especially the days y'all meet Annie outside the territory without me?"

Baekhyun tried not to but he ended up gritting his teeth in the last part.

"We just go shopping,we have lunch and hang out at different places.."Taeyong said.

"Different places such as?"Baekhyun asked.

"Karaoke room,different coffee shops,we sometimes watch movies.."Taeyong said.

"Movies too?"Baekhyun asked through gritted teeth trying to control his anger.

Taeyong nodded.

"So you guys are really close?"Baekhyun asked.

"Very,"Taeyong said.

Before Baekhyun could speak any further Taeyong's phone rang.Joonmyun was calling him to his own room.Taeyong needed to go.So Baekhyun let Taeyong go.

After Taeyong left Baekhyun turned to Lucas. Baekhyun frowned a bit seeing Lucas.He has a sly smirk on his face.He was quite till now that means he was plotting something.

Baekhyun got his arm off Lucas's shoulder.He doesn't need to act all jolly anymore.That won't work anymore.

"So..hyung..I think you have something to ask me,"Lucas said.

"Yeah,I do.What do you want in return?"Baekhyun asked while sitting down in the chair he was previously sitting on.

"I would have to think about what I want,"Lucas said.

"I would give you things depending on how much you can tell me about Annie.Taeyong said you two are very close to her,"Baekhyun said.

"Heck Yeah,we are,"Lucas said,"I can tell you a lot of things about her.That could help you impress her.She is still really annoyed at you for some reason."

"Did she tell you she's annoyed at me?"

"No,but I could tell.She avoids your topic whenever we talk about you these days.Previously she used to badmouth you with us."

Lucas bit his tongue.That was such a slip.Why would he tell Baekhyun that they badmouth him?

Baekhyun started thinking.Annie is still really angry at him because he kissed her and didn't apologize.She is also still angry at the fact that Joonmyun didn't break their partnership.She has been sulking ever since and being really distant.Baekhyun doesn't know how to fix that.

Lucas was ready to hear his shout but Baekhyun didn't say anything.Just stared at a distance thoughtfully.Lucas was about to ask him what got him thinking so hard.But before he could Baekhyun spoke.

"Meet me at a restaurant after 12 am.I will send you a location.You are going to tell me everything you know about Annie,"Baekhyun said and got up.

"Ay ay captain.But you have to give me whatever I want!"Lucas said.

Baekhyun nodded and went out of the room.It's almost 8.Annie would arrive soon.God knows what kind of things Lucas would want.But Baekhyun consoles himself.

But it's fine as long as I get the information,I guess.

Baekhyun and Annie did all the work they were given pretty quickly.They had to keep an eye on the weapon store house for a few hours because all the members of Red velvet were busy.After they made sure all the weapons were in place and were being delivered well they did some shooting practice in the practice ring beside the storehouse.After that Red velvet came so they could go and get dinner.

Now Baekhyun and Annie are sitting across each other at a 24 hour cheap restaurant.Baekhyun doesn't know why she insists only going to these restaurants.Now she is eating her noodles happily.She looks like she is the happiest woman on earth right now while eating the noodles.

Baekhyun just finished eating his noodles a few minutes ago and now he is staring at Annie while she eats.He is deep in thought.He has been trying so hard but Annie doesn't respond to any of his attempts.She had made the fact really clear that they can't be more than partners.Not even friends.And she still seems angry and annoyed at him.She is distant and doesn't talk to him as much as she used to.She doesn't even smile much at him.He feels ignored and sad.He doesn't want to feel this kind of feelings.

She ignores him most of the time.And the fact that she goes to hangout with Taeyong and Lucas without him made him angry.Why is it not him when he's trying so hard and being so nice to Annie?Why does she have to go and hang out with those two outside of their territory during daytime?She doesn't stay with him for one second after midnight.She doesn't even tell Baekhyun anything about herself after that night.He doesn't know anything about her. But Taeyong and Lucas do.

"Why are you staring at me like that?"Annie asked while finishing her noddles and keeping her chopsticks down.

That broke the train of Baekhyun's thoughts but he still kept looking at her her.His anger was rising.

"What?"Annie asked while picking up the bowl to drink the soup.

"Why is it Lucas and Taeyong?Why is it not me?"Baekhyun asked.

"What are you talking about?"Annie asked and then sipped the bowl.

"Why did you take Lucas and Taeyong out with you?Why is it not me?Do you like any of them?"Baekhyun asked.

Annie almost choked out the soup.She quickly kept the bowl down and drank water to calm herself down.After she was calm she looked at Baekhyun and frowned,"Are you crazy?They are like my brothers."

"Then why do you go out with them?Am I not your partner?Am I not the one you should hang out the most with?"Baekhyun asked through gritted teeth.He doesn't know why he was getting so angry.But he tried his best to control his anger,"I know you don't want to be more than partners for whatever ridiculous reason there is.But did you for once give me chance?You don't even tell me what reason you can't be with me when I know you have feelings for me too!"

"No..I don't."

Baekhyun didn't even listen to her.He kept on ranting.Whatever anger and frustration was in him all these days he let them out.

"Because of you I failed in my first ever mission.Do you know how big of a deal that is for me?But you don't care.All you do is ignore me and go shopping with other men in the day time and buy them watches!!!"Baekhyun shouted and made everyone that was present in the restaurant stare at them.

Annie looked around and assured everyone that he is okay.Then she turned to Baekhyun and saw his frowning face.She immediately broke into a chuckle.

Baekhyun's face eased up and his frown disappeared.She didn't chuckle like that in front of him since the night he kissed her.Baekhyun's face was breaking in to a small smile but stopped midway.He is still frustrated about everything.He is not getting enough rest,he is worried about his gang,he is worried that Rubies might be one step ahead of them,he likes Annie but still doesn't trust her with his gang completely and she is distancing herself from him.From tomorrow they are going to hunt down all of the hideouts of Rubies in and outside Seoul.They got all this informations from the captives they got.He us worried about that too.All of this has been in his mind for a while.So he bursted out in a childish manner today in front of Annie.

"What?"Baekhyun asked while sulking.

"How frustrated are you,Byun Baekhyun?"Annie asked while laughing.

Baekhyun was about to smile but stopped himself,"I'm not."

"I think you are.I think sharing some concerns with me or anyone would help you,"Annie said.

"I'm perfectly fine I'm just angry because you abandoned your partner for Lucas and Taeyong.I never even saw you in the day light.You might look completely different during the day for all I know,"Baekhyun complained.

He expected Annie to say something sarcastic next but she just smiled and said,"Fine,the next time I go shopping,I will call you.If you get bored,it won't be my fault."

"Really?"Baekhyun raised his eyebrows.

Annie nodded and then looked at her watch,"Baekhyun-ah,It's 12.I gotta go.See you tomorrow."

Baekhyun was about to get up with her saying,"I will drop you to the bus stop."

"No,Baek.It's okay,"She held his shoulder and made him stop moving.He looked up at her.She then smiled at him,"I will be okay."

"You sure?"Baekhyun asked.

Annie nodded and slowly left his shoulder and stood straight.Before leaving she said,"Baek,don't get tensed over all these things.Nothing will happen to you and your gang.Your gang members may act like weirdos but they are really competent.So relax.If you keep worrying about useless things you might have a heart attack."

Both Baekhyun and Annie chuckled at that.

After that Annie waved at Baekhyun and left.Baekhyun sat there smiling for a few moments.Annie finally smiled at him,talked to him without avoiding him,worried about him.That made him really happy.

Well,that's a big improvement.

After awhile of Annie leaving Lucas came into the restaurant.Baekhyun had to act unnecessarily kind and generous with him to get him to spill information.Lucas ordered everything on the menu just to try Baekhyun.Even though Baekhyun was fuming with anger on the inside he smiled on the outside.After promising Lucas multiple times that Baekhyun is gonna give him whatever Lucas wants.After that Lucas finally gave Baekhyun some information about Annie.Like she is in love with food especially street foods.Her favorite foods are tteobokki and tangsuyuk.She is not a good cook.She is a great dancer.Her ideal type is someone who laughs a lot,expresses their emotions well,has love and care.

"In conclusion everything you are not,"Lucas said.

"Shut the fuck up and continue,"Baekhyun said while glaring.He couldn't say anything because Lucas was right.He used to be like that but as he grew up all those characteristics vanished.

Lucas laughed but continued.She was in America for eight years.She is great at story telling.She loves telling other people stories and listening to other people's concerns.

"She only fights with me though.You sure she listens to other people's opinion?"Baekhyun asked.

"She's like that just to you.To the rest of us she's really nice.You are the problem,"Lucas said.

Baekhyun wanted smack the shit out of him but right now he can't.Lucas is doing this intentionally.Maybe later when Baekhyun gets chance he would get revenge.

Lucas told him a few more of her likes and dislikes. Baekhyun was amazed and angry that Lucas knew so much about her where he knew nothing.

Then he gave Baekhyun one important information Annie isn't searching for a relationship right now.Then Lucas said,"Hyung..this is completely my theory..but I think she likes someone already."

"Who?I thought she liked me."

"I don't know yet.Maybe should I try asking Noona on our next outing?"Lucas asked.

"You would do that for me?"Baekhyun asked smiling thinking this boy is not as bad as he thought.

But his misconception was broken as soon as Lucas said,"Depends on how you treat me."

Baekhyun was about to frown and curse but then he smiled and said,"Sure,I would treat you well."

Lucas smiled,"That's a good hyung."

Then Lucas gave Baekhyun a plan.Because Annie isn't looking for a relationship right now.So why doesn't Baekhyun try being her friend actually.Not pretending to be her friend for a mission.Then he could slowly ask her out again.

Baekhyun gave that plan a thought.And that didn't seem half bad.Baekhyun thanked Lucas wholeheartedly.Lucas smiled and said he would text Baekhyun what things he wants in return for all of this.Baekhyun nodded.He is ready to give Lucas anything he wants because he really needed all these information.

Then Lucas went towards the territory and Baekhyun went towards one of the drug factories.While walking on the road Baekhyun smiled while thinking that he finally made some progress with Annie and got to know things about her.Lucas was indeed helpful.But what Lucas said was true about her probably already liking someone else then that would be the worst. Baekhyun doesn't even want to think about that.Why did she talk and act like that to him if she didn't have any feelings for him and had feelings for someone else?Baekhyun is so confused and sad.

But he tried to light up his mood telling himself at least Annie is not angry at him anymore and he could actually be her real friend soon.That would be nice.He would have someone to talk about his worries to.

While walking his phone suddenly beeped indicating he received a message.Baekhyun got out of his thoughts when he heard that and got his phone out of his pocket to see what message he got,while walking.

He gasped and stopped walking as soon as he saw the message.His eyes widened.

What kind of bullshit is this?

He again read the message to see if he read right earlier.And seems like he did.He didn't know how to react to this.

4.Acknowledge that I'm the most handsome one in our gang in front of everyone.

Baekhyun's jaw dropped.He could give Lucas his Rolex or bike but what about the last three wishes?How is he going to do that in front of everyone?That's going to be so cringeworthy and humiliating.

Baekhyun wanted to throw his phone away but suddenly he thought about Annie and sighed while calming himself.It's way easier getting information about other gangs than getting information about her.So he should be grateful to Lucas.

He has no way around giving Lucas what he wants.

He sighed again while putting his phone in his pocket and starting to walk again.

I'm being both broke and humiliated because of her....Gosh!
