As Zhan sat on the sofa next to Yibo, he couldn't help but think about their current situation. This wasn't the first time they were alone together, but for some reason, it felt different this time. Perhaps it was because of their new surroundings. Regardless, it felt strange to Zhan.

Suddenly, Yibo's voice broke the silence. "Zhan, aren't you going to get ready for bed?" he asked.

Zhan snapped out of his thoughts and checked the time on his phone. "Oh, wow. Look at the time. We have to wake up early tomorrow. Let's go to bed now," he suggested.

“S-Sure..” Yibo shortly answered.

As they lie in bed, Zhan and Yibo are unable to fall asleep and remain wide awake. 

“Zhan…”

“Yeah!?”

“Can I kiss you before we fall asleep?”

Zhan blushed at Yibo’s request.

“Did you ever ask for my permission before?”

“Sorry.”

Despite his doubts, Zhan ultimately agreed to fulfill Yibo's request. As their faces drew closer, Zhan closed his eyes and they shared a kiss until they were both satisfied and pulled away. The two of them were shy and embarrassed, as it was their first time sharing a bed.

“H-Hey, Yibo. Can I ask you something?

“Go ahead.”

“You got us one bed on purpose, didn’t you?”

“Man, I’m beat. Goodnight.” Yibo quickly closes his eyes and starts to doze off.

“Hey!” Zhan stared at Yibo’s face.

He’s so adorable. Living on our own is one thing…but university life…Will I be able to do a good job? I have to. No, I must.

Zhan kept worrying and did not have a good sleep, waking up tired.

I was so nervous, I couldn’t fall asleep.

“Are you okay?” Yibo asked.

“Y-Yeah. Did you sleep alright? I couldn’t fall asleep and was worried I might have woken you up.” Zhan complained.

“I can sleep through anything.” Yibo replied as he pushed the door.

“Wow, I envy you.”

As they walked into the classroom, all eyes turned to them and the room fell silent, with everyone staring intently.

“Yibo, are we late or something?”

“No, we are not.”

Two Girls are whispering to each other how handsome Yibo is.

“Wow!” Emily exclaimed, full of admiration in her eyes. “Did you see? Did you see?”

“Yeah, not bad.” Yanli agreed.

While the class is on going, Zhan cannot help but ponder. 

I’m a real college student now.

As a part of the university event, all are welcome to join. Yibo and Zhan were sipping on their drinks when they were approached by two girls.

“Hey, mind if we join you?” asked Emily

“Not at all!” Zhan replied.

The two girls started to introduce themselves one by one.

“I’m Emily.” 

“And I am Yanli.”

Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo introduced themselves too.

“Let’s not be so formal. We are classmates after all.” Emily said.

“Yeah, okay.” The three answered in unison.

“I didn’t see you guys in the group chat room.” Yanli suddenly asked.

“Group Chat Room? Is there one?” Zhan curiously replied.

“I’ll invite you, let me get your number.” Yanli initiated.

“Sure,” Zhan answered.

“Yeah, let’s all exchange numbers.” Emily excitedly agreed.

“But hey. People will think we are on a double date or something, don’t you think?” 

Wang Yibo remained silent and did not seem pleased when Zhan exchanged numbers with the girls. However, his attention was diverted when two other students approached him.

“Hey, there you are. You’re that really good looking freshman.” The man said to Yibo.

“What is your name?” The girl asked.

“I am Wang Yibo.”

“Cool. Nice to meet you, Wang Yibo. I’m Jin Xuan. Here, drink up.”

Yibo quickly drinks the glass of beer without any hesitation, catching Zhan off guard as he downs the whole glass in one go.

“Have one more,” the senior filled him with another glass of beer.

Wang Yibo draws attention to other girls, and cannot hide their admiration, gathered around him.

“He is so handsome…”

“I told you.”

“Yibo, let me pour you some drinks.” the girl said.

Again? Zhan is worried as he loses count of how many glasses of beer Yibo drinks already, he can see Yibo is already starting to get dizzy, holding his forehead.

As Emily approached, she also asked to fill Yibo’s glass as she saw it empty.

“Yibo, are you–, Hey, hey! Why are there empty glasses over here?”

“Let me see those glasses, freshmen.” Jin Xuan said, reaching for Zhan’s and Yibo's glass and filling them.

Zhan had no choice but to drink, but Jin Xuan saw Yibo not touching the beer at all.

“Hey, why aren’t you drinking? Everyone else already emptied their glasses. You drank when those girls poured for you. What, don’t wanna drink one from me? Don’t spoil the mood. Go on, drink up.”

Yanli is not pleased, forcing freshmen students to drink. What a jerk, she thought.

Suddenly, Zhan grabbed Yibo’s glass of beer and drank it in one go. Wang Yibo is shocked.

“What the, hey! Why are you drinking….” Jin Xuan approached Zhan.

“I apologized but Wang Yibo drank too much already.” he stood and started to bid farewell. “If you’ll excuse us, we’ll be going now.”

“Huh? Okay” Jin Xuan said.

Yanli is impressed with Zhan while Emily is a bit surprised.

Hand on Zhan’s shoulder, Yibo walks slowly as he is feeling dizzy.

“Yibo, are you okay?”

“We should get some of that help with a hangover.”  

As they walked silently, Yibo suddenly shifted to Zhan.

“Zhan…”

“Hmm?”

“Thank you…”

“Aww, it was nothing.”
