Today is Wang Yibo's birthday and Xiao Zhan decided to at least give a present this time.

"Yibo, you won't disappear, right?" Xiao Zhan is in a crying mess now and Wang Yibo is still in shock.

Wang Yibo drops the empty can he was holding and lean closer to Xiao Zhan.

Chapter 24

Wang Yibo cupped Xiao Zhan's face and kissed Xiao Zhan's lips tenderly. Xiao Zhan was shocked at first as he opens his eyes but when he feels the sweet taste of Wang Yibo lips, he automatically closes his eyes and feels the warm lops brushing into his.

They kissed passionately and deeper until they need air to breathe. Xiao Zha hand press hard on Yibo's arms. Wang Yibo breaks the kiss and the two gasp for air while staring at each other silently, only their heart beating and breathing can be heard and their faces were red from embarrassment.

"I will always be by your side." Wang Yibo pulls Xiao Zhan and hugs him tight.

"Promise?" Xiao Zhan starts to sob again and hugs Wang Yibo tight hoping Wang Yibo is being sincere.

"Yes, I promise."

"Zhan!"

The next morning. Mrs. Wang suddenly arrived home feeling mad about the canceled trip. But she then notices her house is too quiet thinking the kids went out but she saw the shoes are still there. She then decided to knock on Xiao Zhan's room.

"Zhan, are you still sleeping? I'll come in.." She entered Xiao Zhan's room but he wasn't there so she decided to knock on Wang Yibo's room but when she opened the door, the reek of alcohol welcomes her nose.

"Oh my! Would you look at them?" Mrs. Wang said.

Xiao Zhan blinks as he slowly opens his eyes and to his shock, he saw Auntie Carmen.

"Ah, Auntie!"

"Xiao Zhan!"

"Wake Wang Yibo up and clean the room together. After you finish, come downstairs!" Mrs. Wang angrily said and left the room.

"Okay..." Xiao Zhan answered nervously.

Xiao Zhan wakes up Wang Yibo.

The two cleaned up the room and after they finished, they quickly face the angry Mrs. Wang.

"I'm..I'm sorry.." Xiao Zhan said remorsefully.

"What about you Yibo?" Mrs. Wang averted her gaze to still sleepy Wang Yibo.

"I apologize..." Wang Yibo said like a cub.

"Pft. Hahahahahahahahha! That coming from you who smells like alcohol is really funny." Mrs. Wang laughed so hard.

"I know it's not Zhan who asked first but you're still in the wrong. It's probably Yibo who did. This time, since it's your first time and it was your birthday, I will ignore it, understand?"

"Yes." The two answered in unison.

Mrs. Wang left them and the two continue to talk.

Xiao Zhan closes his eyes and a flashback from last night suddenly appeared.
