Xiao Zhan let Wang Yibo entered his room for the first time.

"There's nothing to be seen right? You can go just hang out with your friends." Zhan said happily.

"No, I like it better with you," Yibo answered.

"Hmph, your friends will feel sad when they knew..."

"No, they don't. Did Zoey pick a fight with you?" Wang Yibo asked.

"No. She actually helped me. She said not to mind what the others said about us. You even had a girlfriend before..." Xiao Zhan explained with hands up.

"What? She said that?"

"Ah, yeah..." Xiao Zhan suddenly gets confused. He is not sure if he is not supposed to talk about it.

"Are you dating anyone right now?" Xiao Zhan looks at Wang Yibo and asks.

"No one for now." Wang Yibo answered.

"Oh...Why?"

"What do you mean?" Wang Yibo becomes silent and in a few seconds, he decided to explain.

"I went out with her, but not because I like her though."

"Huh?"

"She confessed to me saying she liked me, so I accepted her. I thought I would come to like her after we went out, but that wasn't the case. She dumped me in the end. I don't know if you can even call that dating."

"I see...."

"Don't you have a girlfriend?" Wang Yibo suddenly asked Xiao Zhan.

"GIRLFRIEND? I DON'T EVEN HAVE A FRIEND!" Xiao Zhan was really shocked by the sudden question but he realized something.

"You have me.." Wang Yibo answered.

"Hey, Yibo. I'm sorry I made this all happen to you.." Xiao Zhan said remorsefully while hands on his knees.

Wang Yibo reached Xiao Zhan's head and pat them.

"Don't apologize, you fool. It is not because of you. You don't have to worry. It will be quiet soon."

The rumors about us going around in the classroom for a while. Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan didn't respond to the rumor at all, so just as Wang Yibo decided. They soon hushed up as they lost their interest and focusing on something new, except He Peng.

"Hey, does it feels good doing it in between men? It must feel so good..hahahaha!" He Peng asked Xiao Zhan and laughed so hard.

Xiao Zhan just lowers his head from embarrassment as he thought. How long does He Peng going to be like that?

He Peng didn't expect that Wang Yibo will interfere

"Let me know." Wang Yibo said.

"What?" He Peng was startled.

"How does it feel to do it between men." Wang Yibo answered.

Xiao Zhan was amazed as he sees Wang Yibo is treating He Peng as if he is like nothing.

"You and Feng Mingjing." Wang Yibo said.

"WHAT?! ABSOLUTELY NOT!" Feng Mingjing got furious especially He Peng.

"FUCK! I FEEL LIKE CRAP!" He Peng is now angry as hell.

"It wasn't like that?" Wang Yibo asks calmly.

"Birds of the same feather, flock together. You match well. You are both trash." Wang Yibo added with a smirk as he looks at the two maliciously as if he is provoking them.

Everybody laughs and before Wang Yibo knew, he receives a blow of punch from He Peng. Xiao Zhan was shocked. But Wang Yibo recovered and grab He Peng's collar and hit him forcefully that made He Peng fall on the floor with a thud. Wang Yibo kicks him on his chest that made him groan in pain, coughing and gasping while his friend didn't move any muscle.

Wang Yibo then speaks as he leans closer to He Peng.

"I told you to stop right? You should have listened when I said it nicely."

"Oi, what's wrong? Not going to help him?" Wang Yibo asked He Peng's friend but Feng Mingjing turns his back and walks away without helping He Peng.

Ji Li was really shocked but Zou Cheng is so calm and easy while Xiao Zhan was speechless.

"They will be quiet now." Zou Cheng said.

"I know right? Aren't you even shock that Wang Yibo did that?" Asked Meng Ziyi.

"If it was me, I would have hit him earlier." Zou Cheng answered.

When they get home, Xiao Zhan quickly asked Wang Yibo.

"Yibo, are you okay? It really hurts right? Auntie Carmen will be so worried if she sees this." Xiao Zhan look at the bruise in the corner of Wang Yibo's lips.

"Mom..ah!" Wang Yibo was about to speak but the pain strikes when he opens his mouth to speak.

"Huh, does it hurt?" Xiao Zhan was startled and grab Wang Yibo's neck as he looks the wound carefully.

"Zhan, apply your saliva..." Wang Yibo said.

"Okay..." Xiao Zhan unconsciously answered but suddenly he realized.

"Huh!"

"It hurts. They say it will get better if you put saliva..but still..ah, it hurts so much.." Wang Yibo complained.

"Alright..." Xiao Zhan blushed as he answered.

Xiao Zhan licked the tip of his forefinger but still, he is thinking if it will really work.

Xiao Zhan was about to apply the saliva on Wang Yibo's wound but it bothers him that what if it becomes worse. If that happens, what he will do?

"I'll bring medicine." Xiao Zhan smiles awkwardly and runs to collect the first aid kit. Wang Yibo was dumbfounded and disappointed as he was hoping Xiao Zhan will apply his saliva on the corner of his wounded lips.

When Mrs. Wang arrived, she quickly noticed the wound on Wang Yibo's lips.

"Yibo, what happened to your face, did you fight?"

"Yeah." Wang Yibo answered but Xiao Zhan is worried and doesn't know what to do.

"Did you win?" Mrs. Wang asked again.

"Yeah.."

"Okay. As long as you won." Mrs. Wang said that made Xiao Zhan shocked.

Chapter 18

Xiao Zhan just finished his homework. He then stretches his body when he heard a knock on his door.

Mrs. Wang speaks behind the door and asks.

"Zhan..."

"Yes.."

"Are you busy right now?"

"Ah, no.."

"Let's go grocery shopping together." Mrs. Wang asked with a wide smile on her face.

"Oh, then Yibo too.." Xiao Zhan said.

"Let's go secretly, I just want to have a date with you..." Mrs. Wang answered.

"Yes.." Xiao Zhan answered even he was puzzled.

After the grocery, Xiao Zhan brought all the plastic bags by himself.

"Heavy, right? .aybe we should drove here." Mrs. Wang said as she thought Xiao Zhan is struggling.

"This is no big deal." Xiao Zhan answered.

"Oh my, you are so reliable." Mts. Wang praises Xiao Zhan.

"Zhan, can we talk for a while?" Mrs. Wang asked and Xiao Zhan was surprised.

They saw a bench and sit there for a while and talk.

"What are you going to do after you graduate?" Mrs. Wang asked.

"Ah, first of all, I want to live on my own."

"And then?"

"Maybe get a part-time job."

"Do you have any aspirations?" Mrs. Wang asks seriously.

"Pardon? Ah, I still don't know."

"Are you just going to leave the house blindly when you come of age?"

"Ah..." Xiao Zhan becomes speechless.

"I brought you to my house because I wanted you to feel comfortable, was it uncomfortable?"

"No. Thanks to you, I have a good meal in a warm house and enjoyed myself comfortably."

Mrs. Wang expected it already that Wang Yibo will get jealous.

After the confrontation between Wang Yibo and He Peng, He Peng and Feng Mingjing drifted apart. Feng Mingjing tried to join another group but it didn't work because they are ignoring him. He Peng became alone as his friend gave up on him.

Xiao Zhan doesn't feel anything, he doesn't feel guilty either. Finally, he is breathing after the breakaway from them.

Xiao Zhan enjoyed going to school for the first time as he has friends like Wang Yibo. He is happy Wang Yibo seats beside him and they became partners in the class. But he always knew Wang Yibo is staring at him. But this time it wasn't Wang Yibo who is staring at him.

"Hi, Zhan.."

"Hi, Cheng.."

"Whoa, you know my name?" Zou Cheng can't believe it.

"Because we're classmates?" Xiao Zhan answered.

"Stop pretending you are close with Zhan." Wang Yibo said to Zou Cheng with a tone of jealousy.

"Then I can just become his real friend right?" Zou Cheng grabs Xiao Zhan's hands and shakes them.

"Yeah.." Xiao Zhan answered but Ji Li saw them and just speechless.
