Wooyoung could feel the warmth fading away. He gasped and held his arm out, his body jolting itself to sit up. His eyes opened wide to see Yeosang looking back at him with both a confused and worried gaze.
"What's wrong?" Wooyoung tried to stutter out his words but failed. He arm went limp and he lied back down on the bed. Letting out a breath of relief. "Woo?"
"I didn't want to lose you." Wooyoung admitted watching as Yeosang's face morph in adoration but with sadness lurking behind his eyes.
"Stop being cheesy!" He playfully punched Wooyoung on the forearm. "I'm just going to the bathroom." Wooyoung smiled at him, pushing Yeosang playfully.
"Alright, doofus." Wooyoung said and watch Yeosang roll his eyes but smile nonetheless. He wanted to see it more often. He wanted to make this feeling stay.
When Yeosang closed the door, Wooyoung stared at the ceiling above him. He ran a hand over his face before it settled down beside him. He turned to his left side and stared right back at the window before he heard the bathroom open then close.
He could feel Yeosang sit beside him, then an arm wraps itself around his waist. Wooyoung closed his eyes as he felt Yeosang's breath on the back of his neck.
At times like this. Wooyoung felt so much peace, he felt free from all of his problems but he knew not to let his guard down.
Wooyoung made his breath steady to make it believable that he's asleep. He felt Yeosang move around and muttered words. It made Wooyoung's heart ache so much hearing it from Yeosang, himself.
"I'm sorry. A few days more and I'll be gone."
No. No. Don't leave me. Don't.
"You know, I love you Wooyoung. You deserve someone better than me."
You deserve someone better! Don't think that way Yeosang. I love you too and hearing you say this hurts me.
"It's all too late for me now to retreat."
"It isn't." Wooyoung finally had the courage to speak up. He sat up then jumped towards Yeosang, hugging him as tightly.
"Wooyo-"
"Don't leave me." Wooyoung muffled on Yeosang's chest. Yeosang looked down at Wooyoung who have his head on his chest.
"I told you, I wo-" Yeosang tried to play it off but his words got cut off when Wooyoung looked up at Yeosang with tears.
"I mean it. Don't leave me in this cruel world."
A wish. A wish that is silent. A wish of mourning. The sincerity and pain in his voice screamed out. It reached out, and his wish is granted.
But, were they really meant to be together?
