Wang Yibo starts to dig in. As he picks a bite-size cake and shoves it in his mouth, he halted and thought.

While Xiao Zhan is enjoying the cake on his mind and as a sweet lover, he finds it delicious. But as soon as he looks at Wang Yibo, he stopped.

Wang Yibo places back the fork on the tray and stands up leaving Xiao Zhan alone on the table and confused.

Xiao Zhan stares at him and as he grabs the brown envelope with the sum of money he thought, he will never find it again.

“Thanks, Yibo.Thank you so much.” Xiao Zhan said shyly but with a smile wide on his face while the face is tainted pink

Wang Yibo stares at him intently.

“Hey. It's late but Happy Birthday, Zhan..”

Xiao Zhan blushed as he thought. Putting the birthday wish aside, how long has it been since Wang Yibo even called his name?

“I...I am really happy because you wished me a Happy Birthday..” Xiao Zhan said in blushing face without even looking at Wang Yibo's face.

Wang Yibo just scratches the back of his neck as his face starts to taint pink, staring blankly at the cake and speak.

“Let's just eat the cake..”

“Yeah...”

“Why did they do that to you?”Wang Yibo glances at Xiao Zhan and asks.

Xiao Zhan was shocked thinking that  Wang Yibo saw the incident with He Peng in the classroom.

“T-They were just joking..” Xiao Zhan lied. But Wang Yibo is not convinced and regret what he said as it just an absurd alibi.

“Their joke is too much.”

“I-It's okay.” Xiao Zhan said as he feels relieves but he thought. Whew! Thank goodness.

After that day, Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo become closer. For instance, as soon as  Xiao Zhan opens his door, he saw Wang Yibo just got out of his room too and they snap.

Feeling hesitant, Xiao Zhan starts to speak and ask.

“Did you have a good sleep?”

“Oh yeah, what about you?” Yibo answered and asked too.

“I think I would have had a good sleep if I sleep a bit more. Hahaha...” Xiao Zhan said and laugh.

Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan's interactions increased enough to make jokes.

“Let's go to eat.” Wang Yibo said and rub his neck.

Whether or Wang Yibo is good to Xiao Zhan because of Mrs. Wang's request, or out of pity, Xiao Zhen just chose not to care.

“Okay.” Xiao Zhan answered happily as they walk together in the dining room.

For Xiao Zhan, this is their last chance to recover their relationship.
