News spread fast about everything that happened on the day of the event, three years ago.

Kay used a grenade that could kill people only within a short radius. To give an end to the psychopaths in the living room, she knew that it meant killing her too.

Yet, she did it, not to save Jungkook or the president's son. But to save you.

The bedroom Minho stayed in was closed that time, like how the door of the kitchen locked in you and Jungkook. Thus, saving all your lives except for hers.

The police was not going to be there on time. She either had to get her killed along with the psychopaths, or get you all killed.

She chose to die so that you can live.

Placing the bowl of tomato soup on the table, you sat on the lap of your shirtless fiancé who was sitting on the dining chair.

"My breakfast" he said with a smile while looking at the tomato soup in front of him.

"Kookie, this is my first time preparing food. So it may taste bad" you said and Jungkook chuckled before pecking your cheek.

"Trust me. It wouldn't be bad" he said before taking the spoon in his hand, tasting the soup.

"Reminds me of my mother's cooking" Jungkook said while you've already took another spoon for yourself and tasted the tomato soup.

And you didn't feel a thing. Like, you felt nothing! YOUR SPICY SOUP KILLED YOUR TASTE BUDS!

"What the frog?!" you coughed out before grabbing the glass of water on the table, chugging down the liquid.

Drinking the water completely and placing aside the glass, you looked at Jungkook.

"You said that it reminded you of your mother's cooking!" you exclaimed as Jungkook calmly stroked your hair.

"My mother sucked at cooking" he said and you breathed out lazily before lying your head on his chest.

"How did I end up becoming the gamer's girl?" you muttered under your breath.

"Well, you were drunk and ended up confessing your love to me in front of Minho, two years ago" you heard Jungkook say.

Can't forget that. Minho, being the fanboy, pouted that his idol loved someone who was not him. Still, he was happy for you and Jungkook.

You three were now known as the Golden Trio after all.

Time skip to whenever you'd like~

Taking another bite from the chocolate bar, you sighed as you sat with your legs criss cross in front of Kay's grave that was in the backside garden of the house you and Jungkook are living in.

"I know" you started by yourself. "Life moves on, but memories don't" you stated.

"You may have gone away, but our friendship is right here, in my heart, and I miss you" you said. "I miss you, not in a cheesy, let's hold hands and be together forever kind of way" you added.

"I just miss you. Plain and simple. I miss your presence in my life. I miss you always being there for me" you spoke. "I miss my best friend" you finished.

"Damn, that was long" you mumbled under your breath, thinking about how you both would be laughing at such long speeches.

Sighing a little, you slowly got up from the place before walking back to the house.

'Yeah, that was long'

The foggy appearance behind the tree said before disappearing into thin air.
