"Of course."

His hands shook, every inch of his body trembling with fear. Blood soaked his button-up, staining his skin with a horrid colour.

His eyes traveled up, connected with the sky blue eyes of who he doubted was his lover's. Blood was smeared on her cheeks, a daunting smile on her lips. 

"Now, we can stay together forever, and nothing will ever come between us."

To his horror, she placed the gun to her temple, and the last thing he heard before the life drained from his body was an ear-shattering bang.
